The stars will be
Fading soon
We're losing our love
With the moon
Kiss me and say goodbye
Before we have to lie to our hearts
Be strong until it's late
'Cause our hearts will have to wait until dark
Remember the words
That we say tonight
But don't say anything
Once we're in the light
We have to waste the day
And we have to hide the way that we are
Tell me it's not our fate
That we will always wait until dark
We'll wait for the dark
How many hearts will break
If we don't wait
Kiss me and say goodbye
Before we have to lie to our hearts
Be strong until it's late
'Cause our hearts will have to wait until dark
We'll wait until dark
