A bumblebee is a flying insect of the genus Bombus.
Bumblebee or bumble bee may also refer to:
A bumblebee, also written bumble bee, is a member of the bee genus Bombus, in the family Apidae. The brood parasitic or cuckoo bumblebees have sometimes been classified as a subgenus or genus, Psithyrus, but are now usually treated as members of Bombus. This genus is the only extant group in the tribe Bombini, though a few extinct related genera (e.g., Calyptapis) are known from fossils. Over 250 species are known, found primarily in higher latitudes or at higher altitude in the Northern Hemisphere, although they also occur in South America; however, a few lowland tropical species are known. European bumblebees have been introduced to New Zealand and Tasmania.
Bumblebees are social insects which form colonies with a single queen. Colonies are smaller than those of honeybees, growing to as few as 50 individuals in a nest. Female bumblebees can sting repeatedly, but generally ignore humans and other animals. Cuckoo bumblebees do not make nests; their queens aggressively invade the nests of other bumblebee species, kill the resident queens and then lay their own eggs which are cared for by the resident workers.
"Bumble Bees" (originally called "Bumble Bee") is a song recorded by Danish-Norwegian dance-pop group Aqua. It was released as their eleventh single overall, and the third from their album Aquarius. The song more closely resembled their earlier releases, not possessing the slower beat of "Turn Back Time" or the anthemic, orchestral features of "Cartoon Heroes". The song was released in several countries in August 2000, peaking at number 6 in Denmark and at number 34 in Sweden. It was not released in the United Kingdom.
The video for the song was one of five Aqua videos directed by Peder Pedersen. It parodied the group's status as a 'Barbie band', gained due to the success of their breakthrough hit "Barbie Girl". It featured the group trying to make a good music video, but being hampered by a poor director, faulty equipment and the weight of René Dif being too much for a backstage crewman holding his support rope. The video was featured heavily on MTV Europe's "Comedy Weekend" in 2001.

Bumblebees are amazing, so we filmed them in 4k slow motion (Ultra HD) 4K resolution, while they were hard at work. Bumblebee and other types of bees are extremely necessary in the world to pollinate our food and crops. Bumble bees in particular pollinate crops that other bees do not , that is why they are so important. This was a very satisfying video to shoot for me since I am the one who originally brought these bumblebees to our neighborhood in the inner-city , after I brought a few hives about 5 or 6 years back, I now see them all over the neighborhood and because of the markings, I know they are the bees that I brought. Since I feel a personal connection with these bees I decided to film them in high speed to see exactly what they are up to. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did and...

I'd call it more of a HIGH SIX because of the sixth leg. After it left, it circled around--- mapping where I was to return later but I have a life outside playing with insects all the time; had to roll. Bumble Bees
Straight ahead before me I see
Castle towers
Oh no, that means prisoners
I hear the severed sounds
Of dark
And distilled
Coated hearts
Who's thoughts are screaming, crying, words of horror
Fear, and oh
My dear
We're gonna change all that
Change all that
Change all that
Change all that
Change all that
Change all that
Yeah
Dare me not to cry
Dare me not to cry
Take my sugar, taste it
I waste it all the time
Straight ahead before you I see
Bumblebees
Bzzzzzzzzzz
And they're flying my way
Buzzing doesn't scare me
It's the sting that makes me sore
I don't know about you
But I much prefer my honey from a jar
So far that's the way it goes
That's the way it goes
And if you're thirsty drink my
Rise from your knees sir
I am not worthy
Clenching your phantom
Figure for food
I live within shadows
Yours is my blessing
Lost in a passage
A world within words
Straight ahead before me I see
That's the way it goes
That's the way it goes
And if you're thirsty
