STUDY: Global Water Shortage Worse Than Scientists Thought
The growing risk of worldwide water shortages is worse than scientists previously thought, according to a new study.
About 66 percent, which is 4 billion people, of the world's population lives without sufficient access to fresh water for at least one month of the year, according to a new paper published Friday in the journal Science Advances...

MAJOR Discovery: Scientists announce finding Gravitational Waves confirming Einstein's theory
Scientists at LIGO announce major discovery. Physicists detect Gravitational Waves, proving Einstein right.
A team of physicists who can now count themselves as astronomers announced on Thursday that they had heard and recorded the sound of two black holes colliding a billion light-years away, a fleeting chirp that fulfilled the last prophecy of Einstein’s general theory of relativity.

Scientists find inter-dimensional window say, “A new Golden Age is beginning.”
Gravitational waves are tiny ripples in space and time. You can envision gravitational waves by imagining them as sound since they have the same vibratory qualities. In a sense, you can hear or feel gravitational waves but not see them. Scientists have been on a quest for decades to find substantial proof of these “oscillating distortions in the geometry of spacetime” or gravitational waves, to ai

Scientists have finally found gravitational waves
Scientists say they have proven the existence of gravitational waves — the ripples in space-time that stem from objects moving throughout the Universe. If true, it's the first time these waves have been measured directly and marks one of the biggest scientific discoveries in decades.

Description:
Mad scientists are basically interpreted as crazy scientists who have gone to extreme lengths for their research and experiments. When we think about these people, we tend to think of an older man with crazy grey hair and evidence of past injuries from failed experiments. Mainstream media and the entertainment business have used mad scientists as important plot devices in their movies and television episodes. Even though their presence in fiction is strong, their influence in real life is even more astounding. Back in the 18th and 19th centuries, science was still struggling to be accepted in the modern world that was dominated by religion and the church. Science was often called witchcraft or dealings with the devil, and these mad scientists certainly didn’t help the cause. Today, the field of science has set some pretty strict boundaries on just how far someone can go with their experimentation. But the men in this video are the very definition of a mad scientist.
First, we have Giovanni Aldini, who certainly helped instill fear into people by electro-shocking dead bodies. This would cause the corpses to move, twitch, blink, and even make noise. To the naïve onlooker, this very much looked like Aldini was bringing the dead back to life. Speaking of bringing the dead back to live, Sergei Brukhonenko dedicated his life to creating the first heart and lung machine. He even experiment with circulation techniques on severed dog heads and was able to make them twitch and blink for several minutes. Vladimir Demikhov would take this a step further and created the first two-headed dog by surgically attaching a puppy to a large dog. The experiments were successful, but the canines would only live for about a month after the surgery was completed.
Then we have mad scientists who we have to wonder whether they suffered from some sort of mental illness. Harry Harlow experimented on infant monkeys by putting them through social isolation experiments, meaning that he would separate the babies from their mothers and deprive them of any other interaction. The monkeys would be released lost in their own minds and suffering psychologically from the experience.
Albert Hofmann was trying to devise as respiratory medication that didn’t affect a woman’s reproductive system. After accidentally absorbing the prototype through his fingers, Hofmann began to hallucinate. He would eventually call this drug, “LSD”, and he described it as “medicine for the soul.” There must have been something to LSD considering that Hofmann saw over 100 birthdays.
Sidney Gottleib is known as “Dr. FeelGood” and went under considerable criticism for his participation in mind manipulation and joining with the government’s project, “MKUltra.” Gottleib and his colleagues would slip LSD into the drinks of unsuspecting people and would take notes on what the subject was feeling and experiencing. The purpose of these experiments was to gauge how easy it would be to slip drugs and medication into someone’s food or drink, as well as getting the mind to a vulnerable state as a way to manipulate people and control them.
There are more mad scientists where this comes from. And we promise that the scientists only get madder!

Gravitational waves are tiny ripples in space and time. You can envision gravitational waves by imagining them as sound since they have the same vibratory qualities. In a sense, you can hear or feel gravitational waves but not see them. Scientists have been on a quest for decades to find substantial proof of these “oscillating distortions in the geometry of spacetime” or gravitational waves, to aid them in more cosmic discoveries. It wasn’t until February 11th, 2016 that scientists reported they had found the evidence they had been extensively searching to find.

Scientists say they have proven the existence of gravitational waves — the ripples in space-time that stem from objects moving throughout the Universe. If true, it's the first time these waves have been measured directly and marks one of the biggest scientific discoveries in decades.

Every Wednesday we present a new video, so join us to see the truth laid bare...
Ours is said to be a Godless age, yet billions remain faithful to religions thousands of years old.
Scientist Colin Blakemore examines Christianity's relationship with science, arguing that science is the biggest challenge Christianity has ever faced.
For more than 1,500 years Christians saw the bible as the primary source of knowledge, but in the 17th century a new movement emerged that challenged the Christian view of the world, the Scientific Revolution. During the Renaissance the rising power of science forced the Catholic Church to silence rebellious scientists. By the 19th century the enlightenment had given rise to a new generation of scientists who pushed Christianity into retreat.
If science continues to make discoveries that conflict with Christian Doctrine will the Scientific Revolution ultimately make Christianity redundant?
"Christianity: A History" is a documentary series presenting alternative views on the history of the Christian faith, looking at its origins, development and turbulent past. High profile British personalities examine a religion that has particular resonance for them. In doing so, they bring their own perspectives to a challenging and comprehensive debate that explores Christianity's role in shaping the modern world.

Has the first evidence of life after death been found?
In the largest study ever done on the sort of thing researchers at the university of southhampton examined 2,000 cases from patients who would suffered from cardiac arrest before they had been successfully brought back to life.
The strange thing they found was that during the moments in time when the brain had absolutely no measurable activity.... what is known as clinically dead....as much as 40% of the cases had recalled experiencing some sort of awareness during that period of time.
Full article at http://www.resuscitationjournal.com/article/S0300-9572(14)00739-4/pdf
You can see the questions they asked the participants here. The number next to each question represents the amount of people whom said yes out of 101.
As you can see from these questions a large amount of people experienced having a feeling of peace or pleasantness during this period of time, along with many others having impression that things were happening faster or slower.
Remember that this is during a period of time when they had no brain activity and and should be completely dead before being resuscitated.
This really raises some questions as to what life after death is or what is actually happening right when someone dies and what they would experience.
It's a landmark study, especially one that's grounded in some solid science about the afterlife, but it seems to only raise more questions than it answers.
Will science one day figure out what happens when we die? Maybe the mystery of the afterlife will one day no longer be as much of a mystery.

Mind control is one of humanities worst nightmares. There are many different ways that mind control is used actively today, all of which have to do with psychology. For starters, the world is under a mass blanket of brainwashing, and this is used by governments, corporations, and other organizations to keep a populace at bay. The many methods of mind control used range from television, to hypnosis, and to satanic rituals. However, science is actively becoming a growing facilitator of such “practice.” In fact, scientists are seeking ways to expand the field of mind control. Which of course they claim it is for the benefit of humanity.

Theories develop after scientists find no link between Zika, birth defects
The outbreak of Zika has made the news, largely due to a possible link with microcephaly – a birth defect that causes abnormally small head sizes in babies. But a group of Argentinean scientists have put forth a provocative argument: that a pesticide in Brazil’s drinking water is really to blame for the sudden explosion of a normally rare defect. RT’s Simone Del Rosario reports.

Researchers from Brown University have created the perfect Skimming stone.
Incited by public fascination and engineering application, water-skipping of rigid stones and spheres has received considerable study. While these objects can be coaxed to ricochet, elastic spheres demonstrate superior water-skipping ability, but little is known about the effect of large material compliance on water impact physics. Here we show that upon water impact, very compliant spheres naturally assume a disk-like geometry and dynamic orientation that are favourable for water-skipping. Experiments and numerical modelling reveal that the initial spherical shape evolves as elastic waves propagate through the material. We find that the skipping dynamics are governed by the wave propagation speed and by the ratio of material shear modulus to hydrodynamic pressure. With these insights, we explain why softer spheres skip more easily than stiffer ones. Our results advance understanding of fluid-elastic body interaction during water impact, which could benefit inflatable craft modelling and, more playfully, design of elastic aquatic toys.

Christianity[note 1] is an Abrahamic monotheistic[1] religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ as presented in the New Testament. Christianity is the world's largest religion,[2][3] with over 2.4 billion adherents,[4][5][6][note 2] known as Christians.[note 3] Christians believe that Jesus is the Son of God and the savior of humanity whose coming as Christ or the Messiah was prophesied in the Old Testament.[7]
Christian theology is expressed in ecumenical creeds. These professions of faith state that Jesus suffered, died, was buried, and was resurrected from the dead, in order to grant eternal life to those who believe in him and trust in him for the remission of their sins. The creeds further maintain that Jesus bodily ascended into heaven, where he reigns with God the Father, and that he will return to judge the living and dead and grant eternal life to his followers. His ministry, crucifixion and resurrection are often referred to as "the gospel", meaning "good news".[note 4] The term gospel also refers to written accounts of Jesus's life and teaching, four of which—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—are considered canonical and included in the Christian Bible.
Christianity began as a Second Temple Judaic sect in the mid-1st century.[8][9] Originating in Judea, it quickly spread to Europe, Syria, Mesopotamia, Asia Minor, Egypt, Ethiopia, and India and by the end of the 4th century had become the official state church of the Roman Empire.[10][11][12] Following the Age of Discovery, Christianity spread to the Americas, Australasia, sub-Saharan Africa, and the rest of the world through missionary work and colonization.[13][14][15] Christianity has played a prominent role in the shaping of Western civilization.

Using a sophisticated, custom-designed 3D printer, regenerative medicine scientists at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center have proved that it is feasible to print living tissue structures to replace injured or diseased tissue in patients.
Reporting in Nature Biotechnology, the scientists said they printed ear, bone and muscle structures.
When implanted in animals, the structures matured into functional tissue and developed a system of blood vessels. Most importantly, these early results indicate that the structures have the right size, strength and function for use in humans.
With further development, this technology could potentially be used to print living tissue and organ structures for surgical implantation.
Tissue engineering is a science that aims to grow replacement tissues and organs in the laboratory to help solve the shortage of donated tissue available for transplants. The precision of 3D printing makes it a promising method for replicating the body’s complex tissues and organs. However, current printers based on jetting, extrusion and laser-induced forward transfer cannot produce structures with sufficient size or strength to implant in the body.
The Integrated Tissue and Organ Printing System (ITOP), developed over a 10-year period by scientists at the Institute for Regenerative Medicine, overcomes these challenges. The system deposits both bio-degradable, plastic-like materials to form the tissue “shape” and water-based gels that contain the cells. In addition, a strong, temporary outer structure is formed. The printing process does not harm the cells.
A major challenge of tissue engineering is ensuring that implanted structures live long enough to integrate with the body. The Wake Forest Baptist scientists addressed this in two ways. They optimized the water-based “ink” that holds the cells so that it promotes cell health and growth and they printed a lattice of micro-channels throughout the structures. These channels allow nutrients and oxygen from the body to diffuse into the structures and keep them live while they develop a system of blood vessels.
It has been previously shown that tissue structures without ready-made blood vessels must be smaller than 200 microns for cells to survive. In these studies, a baby-sized ear structure survived and showed signs of vascularization at one and two months after implantation.
Another advantage of the ITOP system is its ability to use data from CT and MRI scans to “tailor-make” tissue for patients. For a patient missing an ear, for example, the system could print a matching structure.
Several proof-of-concept experiments demonstrated the capabilities of ITOP. To show that ITOP can generate complex 3D structures, printed, human-sized external ears were implanted under the skin of mice. Two months later, the shape of the implanted ear was well-maintained and cartilage tissue and blood vessels had formed.
To demonstrate the ITOP can generate organized soft tissue structures, printed muscle tissue was implanted in rats. After two weeks, tests confirmed that the muscle was robust enough to maintain its structural characteristics, become vascularized and induce nerve formation.
And, to show that construction of a human-sized bone structure, jaw bone fragments were printed using human stem cells. The fragments were the size and shape needed for facial reconstruction in humans. To study the maturation of bioprinted bone in the body, printed segments of skull bone were implanted in rats. After five months, the bioprinted structures had formed vascularized bone tissue.

Don't fall in! A legendary river that BOILS its victims alive is discovered deep in the heart of the Amazon
The river in Mayantuyacu was found by Andrés Ruzo after his granddad recalled a legendary tale
Academic experts told him that it couldn't exist because the Amazon basin is far from volcanic activity
Ruzo has since presented his findings and has published a book about how the hot springs cause the river to boil

In the closing months of World War II, defeat was looming for the Germans. The invasion of Normandy on June 6, 1944 -- D-Day -- opened a second Allied front, and the Allies began overtaking a host of German positions; Paris was liberated on August 25; Romania and Bulgaria surrendered in quick succession. But the Nazis did not intend to go down without a fight -- and without inflicting as much damage as possible on the Allies. To do so, they employed or planned to employ an increasingly deadly array of military weapons -- from ballistic missiles to rocket planes to, perhaps, the atomic bomb.
The British, American, and Russian governments were not content to sit idly by, waiting to be slammed by the advanced technology. Covert teams of commandos and agents were sent ahead of the front lines and deep into Germany, hunting for both the weapons and the scientists and engineers who\'d created them. For British and American operatives, failure was not an option. If they didn\'t capture the Nazi technology and scientists, agents of the burgeoning Soviet Union might -- and that could spell disaster in a post-war world already feeling the chill of the impending cold war.

Lieutenant Colonel Thomas Bearden, US Army, PhD calls for the scientific community to act.
"To the sincere person who remains skeptical, consider this: Absolute proof is not needed before serious research begins on the subject. In no other field of human endeavor is proof required before serious study and research begins; on the contrary, proof is the result of this research. In this regard, the subject of extraterrestrial studies is being held to an irrational requirement of proof before serious research can begin, on the one hand, and denounced as an area of spurious interest because no proof exists, on the other!"
-Steven M. Greer, MD
RECOMMENDED SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITY ACTIONS
As observations of the UFO phenomena reported by many thousands of witnesses are validated, a new set of scientific paradigms will need to be researched to explain what is being observed.
Twentieth century scientific theories have barely touched the surface in explaining what numerous scientific, military and civilian witnesses have observed and reported. However, in some cases, covert military research programs appear to have advanced much further in understanding the observed phenomena and than have our academic and public scientists. Recent findings, such as the demonstration of possible faster than speed of light phenomenon, suggest that indeed there will be a whole new class of scientific phenomena that 21st century scientists will investigate to explain what has been declared as “impossible” by scientists of the last century.
There is still a major acceptance problem about UFO/ET issues with most scientists.
Dr. Peter Sturrock, a highly respected solar physicist and now an emeritus professor at Stanford University, summarized the problem as follows: The definite resolution of the UFO enigma will not come about unless and until the problem is subjected to open and extensive scientific study by the normal procedures of established science. This requires a change in attitude primarily on the part of scientists and administrators in universities.
A further view by Dr. Sturrock on the role of scientists and scientific journals is quoted in section 3.2.1. Surprising though it may seem to the lay person, scientists often have trouble changing their understanding of processes and natural phenomena when faced with evidence that their theories may not be correct.
The history of science is replete with examples of scientists proclaiming such and such is impossible, only to be shown later that their assumptions were incorrect... [see full article here: http://www.siriusdisclosure.com/summary-of-recommended-actions-by-public-private-and-governmental-stakeholders/ ]
Over the last century, scientists have played both an active and passive role, often unknowingly, in shaping the attitudes of the “trusting” public on the UFO issue through promulgation of misinformation and disinformation.
In summary, without investigation and research, there can be no intelligent informed statement on the phenomena. This need was also recommended by a panel of scientists in the Sturrock/Rockefeller report and by scientists and military personnel in the French COMETA report summarized in section 8.0.
We recommend SCIENTISTS take the following actions:
1. Scientists must open their minds to the possibility of the UFO/ET phenomenon and stop prejudging others who are researching this area. This will require each to do their own “research” into the matter;
2. Scientists who know the UFO/ET issues are real (such as those who participate in covert research projects) should share the reality and their understanding with scientific colleagues to start to bring them up to speed. There will be a lot of catching up to do and it will be difficult because of reputations and funding issues;
3. Academic scientists should share this knowledge with their students and the public, for it is the next generation of students and graduate students that will help make the breakthroughs in research to explain what has been observed for several generations;
4. It is critical that scientists help make the study of UFO/ET issues a supported and encouraged area of scientific investigation for these future graduate students and young professional scientists;
5. Scientist/managers who run our federally funded academic research programs should set aside a small percentage of their budgets for “outside-the-box” research into the UFO/ET arena, helping to make it a legitimate area of research.
6. Finally, scientists should realize that advances in science and technology that could come from an understanding of the UFO/ET phenomenon will have far ranging effects on the future of the people and the environment of our planet. The opportunities for new “breakthrough” research have never been better (as well as the opportunity to rewrite many textbooks).

Excerpt from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flat_Earth The flat Earth model is an archaic conception of the Earth's shape as a plane or disk. Many ancient cultures subscribed to a flat Earth cosmography, including Greece until the classical period, the Bronze Age and Iron Age civilizations of the Near East until the Hellenistic period, India until the Gupta period (early centuries AD) and China until the 17th century. That paradigm was also typically held in the aboriginal cultures of the Americas, and the notion of a flat Earth domed by the firmament in the shape of an inverted bowl is common in pre-scientific societies.
The idea of a spherical Earth appeared in Greek philosophy with Pythagoras (6th century BC), although most Pre-Socratics retained the flat Earth model. Aristotle accepted the spherical shape of the Earth on empirical grounds around 330 BC, and knowledge of the spherical Earth gradually began to spread beyond the Hellenistic world from then on.
Since the 20th century the consensus among historians of science has been that medieval Europeans, with rare exception, put little confidence in a flat earth model. (end of excerpt).
Notice the last part, ' Since the 20th century the consensus among historians of science has been that medieval Europeans, with rare exception, put little confidence in a flat earth model.' ''Little confidence?'' A little. which would mean what? They're 'still' not sure.

On February 11, 2016, a team of scientists ( the LIGO experiment team) announced that they had directly detected gravitational waves from a pair of black holes merging.
Gravitational waves are ripples in the curvature of spacetime which propagate as waves, travelling outward from the source. Predicted in 1916 by Albert Einstein on the basis of his theory of general relativity, gravitational waves transport energy as gravitational radiation. The existence of gravitational waves is a possible consequence of the Lorentz invariance of general relativity since it brings the concept of a limiting speed of propagation of the physical interactions with it. By contrast, gravitational waves cannot exist in the Newtonian theory of gravitation, which postulates that physical interactions propagate at infinite speed.
Before the direct detection of gravitational waves, there was indirect evidence for their existence. For example, measurements of the Hulse–Taylor binary system suggested that gravitational waves are more than a hypothetical concept. Potential sources of detectable gravitational waves include binary star systems composed of white dwarfs, neutron stars, and black holes. Various gravitational-wave detectors are under construction or in operation, such as Advanced LIGO which began observations in September 2015.

An unknown person riding cycle gets petrified to see a body being thrown from a running Bus by an unknown person, so he rushes to save him but before he reveals anything he was declared dead thus he informs C.I.D about it and also gives short description about the Golden Mini Bus in which the body was travelling. C.I.D team comes to know that the dead body was of Senior Scientist Kushal later, the Lab owner reveals C.I.D that lots of companies are vouching for this Formula which can destroy deadly virus. Kidnapper threatens the lab owner that, if he does not give the Formula he will kill the rest of the Scientists who are travelling in the same Bus. How will C.I.D release the rest of the Scientists from the Bus? Is there a trouble waiting for Daya, Abhijeet and ACP Pradyuman?
The first thrilling investigative series on Indian Television, is today one of the most popular shows on Sony Entertainment Television. Dramatic and absolutely unpredictable, C.I.D. has captivated viewers over the last eleven years and continues to keep audiences glued to their television sets with its thrilling plots and excitement. Also interwoven in its fast paced plots are the personal challenges that the C.I.D. team faces with non-stop adventure, tremendous pressure and risk, all in the name of duty. The series consists of hard-core police procedural stories dealing with investigation, detection and suspense. The protagonists of the serial are an elite group of police officers belonging to the Crime Investigation Department of the police force, led by ACP Pradyuman [played by the dynamic Shivaji Satam]. While the stories are plausible, there is an emphasis on dramatic plotting and technical complexities faced by the police. At every stage, the plot throws up intriguing twists and turns keeping the officers on the move as they track criminals, led by the smallest of clues.
