Theodore John "Ted" Kaczynski ( /kəˈzɪnski/ ka-ZIN-skee, or ka-CHIN-skee; Polish: Kaczyński, pronounced [kaˈt͡ʂɨȷ̃skʲi]; born May 22, 1942), also known as the "Unabomber" (a portmanteau of UNiversity and Airline BOMBER), is an American mathematician, social critic, and Neo-Luddite who engaged in a mail bombing campaign that spanned nearly 20 years, killing three people and injuring 23 others.
Kaczynski was born in Chicago, Illinois, where, as an intellectual child prodigy, he excelled academically from an early age. Kaczynski was accepted into Harvard University at the age of 16, where he earned an undergraduate degree, and later earned a PhD in mathematics from the University of Michigan. He became an assistant professor at the University of California, Berkeley at age 25, but resigned two years later.
In 1971, he moved to a remote cabin without electricity or running water, in Lincoln, Montana, where he lived as a recluse while learning survival skills in an attempt to become self-sufficient. He decided to start a bombing campaign after watching the wilderness around his home being destroyed by development. From 1978 to 1995, Kaczynski sent 16 bombs to targets including universities and airlines, killing 3 people and injuring 23. Kaczynski sent a letter to The New York Times on April 24, 1995 and promised "to desist from terrorism" if the Times or The Washington Post published his manifesto, Industrial Society and Its Future (also called the "Unabomber Manifesto"), in which he argued that his bombings were extreme but necessary to attract attention to the erosion of human freedom necessitated by modern technologies requiring large-scale organization.
Oprah Winfrey (born Orpah Gail Winfrey; January 29, 1954) is an American media proprietor, talk show host, actress, producer, and philanthropist. Winfrey is best known for her self-titled, multi-award-winning talk show, which has become the highest-rated program of its kind in history and was nationally syndicated from 1986 to 2011. She has been ranked the richest African-American of the 20th century, the greatest black philanthropist in American history, and was for a time the world's only black billionaire. She is also, according to some assessments, the most influential woman in the world.
Winfrey was born into poverty in rural Mississippi to a teenage single mother and later raised in an inner-city Milwaukee neighborhood. She experienced considerable hardship during her childhood, claiming to be raped at age nine and becoming pregnant at 14; her son died in infancy. Sent to live with the man she calls her father, a barber in Tennessee, Winfrey landed a job in radio while still in high school and began co-anchoring the local evening news at the age of 19. Her emotional ad-lib delivery eventually got her transferred to the daytime-talk-show arena, and after boosting a third-rated local Chicago talk show to first place, she launched her own production company and became internationally syndicated.

Plot: A distracted Hollywood casting director and her disgruntled assistant attempt to cast quality films from the very bottom rung of the casting ladder. Along the way, they audition a series of wacky characters, all trying to make it big in Tinseltown. Julia Johnston has been a casting director in Hollywood for years, most of the time casting "B" movies and straight-to-DVD films. She and her assistant, Michael, try to maintain calm in an office that seems to thrive on chaos. This show follows their days in casting, intercut with interviews with Julia and Michael, who seem to be living in two totally different worlds. A typical day for this casting office could run anywhere from two bored people inventing fake casting projects to a chaotic day of seeing actors that aren't right for the roles they're reading for. Julia and Michael's take on the day's events are so dissimilar that we wonder if they're working in the same office.

Plot: Cinder knew her life was over when her father came home from a business trip with a new wife and her 2 daughters when she was only 6. When her father dies soon afterwards, she pretty much has to care for herself, as her stepmother whittles away her father's money and possessions. Cinder bides her time by hanging with her best friend Justin, working at the library with the unbearable Lenore, and crushing on Cash, the psycho who tends the lawn, until her 21st birthday, when she inherits the trust fund her father left for her. When she makes off with Justin's clay doll of the voodoo god Baron Samedi, the god visits her to help "make things happen" for her--including landing a night with Cash. Little did she know, however, that Cash was in cahoots with her stepmom to do away with her so they could get her trust fund money. Little did Cash and Stepmom know, that Baron Samedi was going to help Cinder get her revenge.
