"Dissent, as long as it is expressed in speech, has really no limit. Speech is free, full stop," said former Home Minister P Chidambaram weighing in on the sedition debate. Speaking to NDTV, he called the sedition charge against JNU students "outrageous" and said, if he were the Home Minister, he would have ordered the Delhi Police Commissioner to release Kanhaiya Kumar and withdraw the sedition charge. Mr Chidambaram also responded to former Home Secretary GK Pillai's claim that Lashkar reference to Ishrat Jehan was changed at the political level. "The original affidavit did say that A, B, C, D were terrorists, but the IB's position was we don't name or charge anyone as terrorists... therefore a second affidavit had to be filed to clarify (that)," he said adding that he "owns the decision" to file the second affidavit but "others can’t disown it either".

Union minister Nirmala Seetharaman reacting on former home minister P Chidambaram's signature on the first Ishrat affidavit where it is said Ishrat Jahan and other three are terrorists, and changes done in the second affidavit which did not mention Ishrat as a terrorist, said Chidambaram owes an explanation to the country. The UPA government had submitted two affidavits in the Ishrat Jahan alleged encounter case. The first affidavit said that the four people including Ishrat, who were killed in an alleged fake encounter, were terrorists. While in the second affidavit filed within two months the government made a complete U-turn and said that there was no conclusive evidence to say they were terrorists.

Chidambaram (Tamil: சிதம்பரம்) is a fast growing industrial city in eastern part of Tamil Nadu and the taluk (tehsil) headquarters of the Cuddalore district. It is located in 58 km from Pondicherry, 60 km from Karaikal, and 240 km south of Chennai by rail. It has an average elevation of 3 metres (9 ft). The city is home to Annamalai University, Nataraja Temple, Chidambaram Temple, port Parangipettai, and many industries. The city is a major pilgrimage site for Shaivites and Vaishnavites.
As of 2011 India census, Chidambaram had a population of 82,458. Males constitute 49% of the population and females 51%. Chidambaram has an average literacy rate of 80%, significantly higher than the national average of 59.5%; with male literacy of 84% and female literacy of 76%. 15% of the population is under 6 years of age.
The ancient Chidambaram Temple (Tamil: சிதம்பரம் கோயில் ) is dedicated to Lord Shiva in his form of the cosmic Dancer (Nataraja நடராசர்). It is one of the five dancing halls (Sabha) of Nataraja and the most famous one. Chidambaram is the Kanaka Sabha (Golden Hall). It is also one of the Panchabhoota Sthalams - representing five basic elements. This is the Akasa Sthalam representing 'Space' among the Pancha Bootha Sthalams. For Saivites all over the world this is the most important Siva Temple. The stand alone word "Kovil" would automatically mean Chidambaram Temple to Saivites. The others are - Tiruvannamalai (Thejo sthalam - Fire) Kanchipuram (Prithvi sthalam - Earth) Srikalahasti (Vayu sthalam - Air) Tiruvanaikaval (Trichy) (Appu sthalam - Water).

Karan Thapar is one of India's television commentators and interviewers. He is the youngest child of General P. N. Thapar(who became General because of being near to Nehru's dynasty) and Mrs. Bimla Thapar.
An alumnus of The Doon School and the Stowe School, he graduated with a degree in Economics and Political Philosophy from Pembroke College, Cambridge in 1977. In the same year, he was also President of the Cambridge Union. He subsequently obtained a doctorate in International Relations from St Antony's College, Oxford.
He began his career in journalism with The Times in Lagos, Nigeria and later worked as their Leader Writer on the Indian subcontinent till 1981. In 1982 he joined London Weekend Television where he worked for the next 11 years. He then moved to India where he worked with The Hindustan Times Television Group, Home TV and United Television before setting up his own production house in August 2001, Infotainment Television, which makes programmes for amongst others BBC, Doordarshan and Channel News Asia.

Things become murkier as Vapa aka Abdul Kadhir (Pradeep Rawath), a dreaded don in the guise of noble man enters. Murugan now wages a battle between the corrupt Minister and Vapa. He starts using his brain to outwit them. In between there is a romantic escapade between Murugan and Dharshini (Deeksha Seth).

Leela comes to know that Jagannatham (Sayaji Shinde) is a famous lawyer and he has Rs 100 crore worth property. He has two daughters and the elder one Spandana (Satya Krishnan) fell in love with a lawyer and marries him. The couple continue to stay with Jagannatham in his house. Leela traps the second daughter Vandana (Charmy Kaur) of Jagannatham by playing a trick that he is an honest lawyer who advocates justice always. He marries Vandana but his hopes get shattered when Vandana decides to stay with Leela only in his rented house leaving her father's property and palatial bungalow. He then blackmails a television channel MD (Raghubabu) and occupies a rich house to start his new office. After that, he argues the case of a notorious criminal GK's (Satya Prakash) brother RK (Balaji) and gets a huge bungalow as a gift. Once Vandana happens to meet her friend in a shopping mall, whose husband is a labour officer and invites them for dinner to their house the next day. However, the labour officer gets killed by RK and Leela Krishna takes up the case to prove him an innocent. The rest of the story forms the interesting part of the climax.

"Dissent, as long as it is expressed in speech, has really no limit. Speech is free, full stop," said former Home Minister P Chidambaram weighing in on the sedition debate. Union minister Nirmala Seetharaman reacting on former home minister P Chidambaram's signature on the first Ishrat affidavit where it is said Ishrat Jahan and other three are terrorists, and changes done in the second affidavit which did not mention Ishrat as a terrorist, said Chidambaram owes an explanation to the country. Thillai Natarajah Temple, Chidambaram or Chidambaram temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva located in the town of Chidambaram, East-Central Tamil Nadu, South India. "Dissent, as long as it is expressed in speech, has really no limit. Speech is free, full stop," said former Home Minister P Chidambaram weighing in on the sedition debate. Speaking to NDTV, he called the sedition charge against JNU students "outrageous" and said, if he were the Home Minister, he would have ordered the Delhi Police Commissioner to release Kanhaiya Kumar and withdraw the sedition charge. Mr Chidambaram also responded to former Home Secretary GK Pillai's claim that Lashkar reference to Ishrat Jehan was changed at the political level. "The original affidavit did say that A, B, C, D were terrorists, but the IB's position was we don't name or charge anyone as terrorists... therefore a second affidavit had to be filed to clarify (that)," he said adding that he "owns the decision" to file the second affidavit but "others can’t disown it either".

The UPA government had submitted two affidavits in the Ishrat Jahan alleged encounter case. The first affidavit said that the four people including Ishrat, who were killed in an alleged fake encounter, were terrorists. While in the second affidavit filed within two months the government made a complete U-turn and said that there was no conclusive evidence to say they were terrorists.

Thillai Natarajah Temple, Chidambaram or Chidambaram temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva located in the town of Chidambaram, East-Central Tamil Nadu, South India. The temple is known as the foremost of all temples (Kovil) to Saivites and has influenced worship, architecture, sculpture and performance art for over two millennium. The Sangam classics list chief architect Viduvelvidugu Perumtaccan as directing an early renovation of the shrine.
A major shrine of Lord Shiva worship since the classical period, there have been several renovations and offerings to Chidambaram by the Pallava, Chola, Pandya, Vijayanagara and Chera royals in the ancient and pre-medieval periods. The temple as it stands now is mainly of the 12th and 13th centuries, with later additions in similar style.[1] Its bronze statues and stone sculptures depicting various deities and the famous Thillai trees (Excoecaria agallocha) of the surrounding forest reflect the highpoints of early Chola and Pallava art while its famed gold plated gopuram towers are medieval structural additions by the royals Aditya I, Parantaka Chola I, Kopperunchinga I, Krishnadevaraya and Jatavarman Sundara Pandyan. King Kocengannan Chola was born following prayers his parents offered at the temple and later in his life he refined its structure.[2][3][4] The shrine gave the town its name.
The deity that presides here is கூத்தன் - Thillai Koothan (Thillai Nataraja - Shiva, The Lord of Dance). Chidambaram is the birthplace of the sculpture and bronze image representation of Lord Shiva as the cosmic dancer, a Tamilian concept and motif in Chola art that has since become notable as a symbol of Hinduism. The shrine is the only Shiva temple to have its main deity represented in this anthropomorphic form, as the supreme being who performs all cosmic activities.[5][6] The consort deity here is Sivakami Amman (form of Amman - mother goddess and female energy). Two other forms of Lord Shiva are represented close to this in the vimana (inner sanctum) of the temple - as a crystallised lingam - the most common representation of Lord Shiva in temples, and as the aether space classical element, represented with empty space and a garland of fifty one hanging golden vilvam leaves (Aegle marmelos). Lord Shiva is captured in pose as Nataraja performing the Ananda Tandava ("Dance of Delight") in the golden hall of the shrine Pon Ambalam (பொன் அம்பலம்). The sculptures of Chidambaram inspired the postures of Bharatha Natyam. The Chidambaram complex is admired for its five famous halls (ambalam or sabhai), several grand smaller shrines to the Hindu deities Ganesh, Murugan, Vishnu and Sivakami Amman which contain Pandyan and Nayak architectural styles, and for its endowment from many water tanks, one of which links it to the Thillai Kali temple.[7]
Chidambaram is one of the five Pancha Bootha Sthalams, the holiest Shiva temples each representing one of the five classical elements; Chidambaram represents akasha (aether). Chidambaram is glorified in Tirumular's Tirumandhiram and was visited by Patañjali and Pulikaal Munivar.[8] It is the primary shrine of the 275 Paadal Petra Sthalams - Shiva Sthalams glorified in the early medieval Tevaram poems by Tamil Saivite Nayanar saints Tirunavukkarasar, Thirugnana Sambandar and Sundarar. Hailed in the Tiruvacakam series by Manikkavacakar, these very volumes of the Tirumurai literature canon were themselves found in secret chambers of the temple. The Periya Puranam, a biography of these Nayanar saints by Sekkizhar commissioned by emperor Kulothunga Chola II, was written in the shrine's Thousand Pillared Hall. In Kanda Puranam, the epic authored by Kachiyappa Sivachariar of Kanchipuram, the Chidambaram shrine is venerated as one of the three foremost Shiva abodes in the world, alongside Koneswaram temple of Trincomalee and Mount Kailash.

The Union Minister of Finance today exaggerated on PM's line of fire against the investigation agency and questioned why it calls itself as a feeble victim. "The CBI pretends to be a helpless victim when it pleads for more autonomy," the Finance Minister said. Pichavaram mangrove forest is located between two prominent estuaries, the Vellar estuary in the north and Coleroon estuary in the south. The Vellar - Coleroon estuarine complex forms the Killai backwater and Pichavaram mangroves.The backwaters, interconnected by the Vellar and Coleroon river systems, offer abundant scope for water sports such as rowing, kayaking and canoeing. The Pichavaram forest not only offers waterscape and backwater cruises, but also another very rare sight[citation needed] - the mangrove forest trees are permanently rooted in a few feet of water.
Pichavaram (MadBoon) has a well-developed mangrove forest. Pichavaram consists of a number of islands interspersing a vast expanse of water covered with green trees. The area is about 1100 Hectare and is separated from the sea by a sand bar.
The Pichavaram mangrove[1] biotope, consisting of rare species like Avicennia and Rhizophara presents a special attraction, with its peculiar topography and environmental condition. It supports the existence of many rare varieties of economically important shell and finfishes.

Jai Radha interviews Mohini about her experiences in Rameshwaram and Kumbakonam, another center for temples. Jai Radha also speaks with Mike Malloy who works for Astroved, and Priest Premraja who performs many of AstroVed and PillaiCenter ceremonies.
Temples have been these power spots for thousands of years and people have been going to them for remedies and that these temples are an incredible source of energy in India.
Priest Premraj: Priest Premraj explains that a temple is " the place where the soul is stirred and is guided towards enlightenment is called the temple. "
History of Temples
These temples were built on a scripture called Agamas. Agamas were words that came out of Siva’s 5 different heads on the request of Parvati, the Shakti, the Goddess.
Story of Parvati and Shiva
She asked him how to worship him, so he gave a complete explanation of how to live, how to worship, how to perform rituals, and everything. So while giving that a part of his speech was temples. So he gave a very detailed explanation on where to build temples, how to build temples, who should worship, who should be there, who should be performing the rituals, who should be the sculptors, and everything.
Siva Picked Out Power Spots Where Temples Reside
So it is Siva, who picked out the spots, where the temples are built now. I’m talking about the temples to where Dr. Pillai takes us to, not the temples that you get to see at the roadside, these are temples that Babaji, or Dr. Pillai, is very much connected to and he believes that there exactly is where the God resides, these are the places.
Temples As Refuge From Calamnity
If you can look at the histories, the temples withstood the worst natural calamities ever, and people always took asylum at temples, and later on when they were there resting because of the natural calamity, they wanted to entertain themselves and that’s how the cultural activity started to happen there.
Temples As Community For Festivals
And now, a temple is more like a cultural hall where dance and music is played, however the main concept of temple is enlightenment, and finding a reason for your birth, or for your life. So that was the temples. There are 28 Agamas. There are various variations of temples, and there are different meanings.
The Temple Of The Heart: Sanctum Sanctorum
… In the South Indian way, is there is a hymn in which they mention the heart is the Sanctum Sanctorum. The mouth represents the entrance. Here the foot, but in another version it is the mouth. So there are different versions or comparisons of the temple to a human body. And among the different Agamas, I would like to mention this.

Chidambaram Temple Power Vortex
That Siva at the Chidambaram temple, which is really, really close to Dr. Pillai, is the only unique temple that you can find all over the world. It was based on a scripture called Makudar, the crown of the Agamas. And nowhere else in the world has a temple been built or is still being worshipped at using that Agama.
And just because Siva explained or gave the reasons or gave the source of knowledge to build temples, it is believed that Siva built all of these temples, placed them at the right spot, to activate, or to maintain the energy.

Temples have been these power spots for thousands of years and people have been going to them for remedies and that these temples are an incredible source of energy in India.

History of Temples
These temples were built on a scripture called Agamas. Agamas were words that came out of Siva’s 5 different heads on the request of Parvati, the Shakti, the Goddess.
Story of Parvati and Shiva
She asked him how to worship him, so he gave a complete explanation of how to live, how to worship, how to perform rituals, and everything. So while giving that a part of his speech was temples. So he gave a very detailed explanation on where to build temples, how to build temples, who should worship, who should be there, who should be performing the rituals, who should be the sculptors, and everything.
Siva Picked Out Power Spots Where Temples Reside
So it is Siva, who picked out the spots, where the temples are built now. I’m talking about the temples to where Dr. Pillai takes us to, not the temples that you get to see at the roadside, these are temples that Babaji, or Dr. Pillai, is very much connected to and he believes that there exactly is where the God resides, these are the places.
Temples As Refuge From Calamnity
If you can look at the histories, the temples withstood the worst natural calamities ever, and people always took asylum at temples, and later on when they were there resting because of the natural calamity, they wanted to entertain themselves and that’s how the cultural activity started to happen there.
Temples As Community For Festivals
And now, a temple is more like a cultural hall where dance and music is played, however the main concept of temple is enlightenment, and finding a reason for your birth, or for your life. So that was the temples. There are 28 Agamas. There are various variations of temples, and there are different meanings.
The Temple Of The Heart: Sanctum Sanctorum
… In the South Indian way, is there is a hymn in which they mention the heart is the Sanctum Sanctorum. The mouth represents the entrance. Here the foot, but in another version it is the mouth. So there are different versions or comparisons of the temple to a human body. And among the different Agamas, I would like to mention this.

Chidambaram Temple Power Vortex
That Siva at the Chidambaram temple, which is really, really close to Dr. Pillai, is the only unique temple that you can find all over the world. It was based on a scripture called Makudar, the crown of the Agamas. And nowhere else in the world has a temple been built or is still being worshipped at using that Agama.
And just because Siva explained or gave the reasons or gave the source of knowledge to build temples, it is believed that Siva built all of these temples, placed them at the right spot, to activate, or to maintain the energy.
