The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps says the maneuvers are aimed at demonstrating the country’s deterrent power against threats to its territorial integrity. During the drills, ballistic missiles were fired from silos across the country.

East Jerusalem al-Quds with more high walls and military checkpoints. This is anticipated to affect 200-thousand

Palestinian woman has been shot dead by

Israelis with a knife. Her death brings to 193 the number of Palestinians killed in a wave of violence that escalated in October.
4) More than 20 people have been killed in operations carried out by
Pakistani forces near the border with
Afghanistan. According to the army, they were all militants. The airstrikes and ground operations were conducted in the
North Waziristan tribal district. The offensive began Monday night and continued into Tuesday.

The United States is set to release, for the first time, the death toll from its controversial drone strikes
across the world.
President Barack Obama's top homeland security advisor,
Lisa Monaco, says the report will disclose casualty figures for both militants and civilians.
6) Two
Austrian right-wing lawmakers distribute free pepper spray among women, claiming they need it to protect themselves against refugees. The two MPs gave out around two-hundred pepper spray cans in front of the parliament building in
Vienna.
They're opposed to the government's refugee policy.
7) Opponents and supporters of refugees have rallied in the
German city of
Leipzig.
Police managed to keep the two rival camps separate. The anti-refugee Pegida movement has been staging rallies in the nearby city of
Dresden on a weekly basis.
