The SHKP Vertical Run for Charity – Race to Shanghai IFC was recently held by Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited (SHKP) at the Group’s landmark development Shanghai IFC. The 1,200 participating athletes scaled 1,460 stairs up 57 floors of the Shanghai IFC Tower Two as a prelude event for the upcoming SHKP Vertical Run for Charity – Race to Hong Kong ICC, which will take place on December 7 at Hong Kong’s International Commerce Centre (Hong Kong ICC) as the final event of this international race series.

Hong Kong (香港; "Fragrant Harbour"), officially Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, is an autonomous territory on the southern coast of China at the Pearl River Estuary and the South China Sea. Hong Kong is known for its skyline and deep natural harbour. It has a land area of 1104 km2 and shares its northern border with Guangdong Province of Mainland China. After the First Opium War (1839–42), Hong Kong became a British colony with the perpetual cession of Hong Kong Island, followed by Kowloon Peninsula in 1860 and a 99-year lease of the New Territories from 1898. Hong Kong remained under British control for about a century until the Second World War, when Japan occupied the colony from December 1941 to August 1945. After the Surrender of Japan, the British resumed control. In the 1980s, negotiations between the United Kingdom and the China resulted in the 1984 Sino-British Joint Declaration, which provided for the transfer of sovereignty of Hong Kong on 30 June 1997. The territory became a special administrative region of China with a high degree of autonomy on 1 July 1997 under the principle of one country, two systems. Disputes over the perceived misapplication of this principle have contributed to popular protests, including the 2014 Umbrella Revolution.

Shanghai IFC
Shanghai International Finance Centre, usually abbreviated as Shanghai IFC, is a commercial building complex and a shopping centre (branded Shanghai IFC mall) in Shanghai. It incorporates two tower blocks at 249.9 metres (south tower) and 259.9 metres (north tower) housing offices and a hotel, and an 85-metre tall multi-storey building behind and between the two towers.
Shanghai IFC is located in Lujiazui, in Pudong, Shanghai. It occupies a prominent position southeast of the Lujiazui roundabout, diagonally across from the Oriental Pearl Tower and across the road from Super Brand Mall. It is adjacent to Lujiazui Station on Metro Line 2, and can be accessed directly from the underground station via a tunnel.
The south tower of Shanghai IFC and part of the multistorey building was completed in 2009, while the north tower and the rest of the complex was completed in 2010. Work continued for several years afterwards on peripheral aspects of the development, including landscaping and footbridge connections to nearby buildings and Lujiazui Central Park.

Sun Hung Kai Properties Ltd. (SHKP; Chinese: 新鴻基地產發展有限公司) (SEHK: 0016) is a listed corporation based in Hong Kong. The company is controlled by the family trust set up by Kwok Tak Seng, who founded the company.
It is among the most valuable real estate companies in Hong Kong and in Asia, and reputes (as per BBC News) to be the second most valuable real estate company in the world. It is controlled in large by the Kwok brothers
History
The company was one of many non-British owned companies that overtook the British trading companies or 'hongs' that dominated the financial order in Hong Kong prior to 1997. The company was founded in 1963 by the elder Kwok, together with Fung King-hei and Lee Shau Kee, and was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 1972.

The Circuit's finale Race to Hong Kong ICC gathered runners from 16 nations and regions, totaling a lineup of 27 elite vertical runners racing for the championship title. The champion for the men's category was eventually taken by Australian runner Mark Bourne who reached the finish line at Sky100 Hong Kong Observation Deck in 12 minutes 37 seconds. In the women's category, Australian runner Suzy Walsham reached the finish line in 13 minutes 58 seconds to take home first place. Suzy Walsham has simultaneously become the women's champion in the Vertical World Circuit, reigning as the ultimately celebrated vertical runner along with men's champion Piotr Lobodzinski. -

The 1,200 participating athletes scaled 1,460 stairs up 57 floors of the Shanghai IFC Tower Two as a prelude event for the upcoming SHKP Vertical Run for Charity – Race to Hong Kong ICC, which will take place on December 7 at Hong Kong’s International Commerce Centre (Hong Kong ICC) as the final event of this international race series.

The Circuit's finale Race to Hong Kong ICC gathered runners from 16 nations and regions, totaling a lineup of 27 elite vertical runners racing for the championship title. The champion for the men's category was eventually taken by Australian runner Mark Bourne who reached the finish line at Sky100 Hong Kong Observation Deck in 12 minutes 37 seconds. In the women's category, Australian runner Suzy Walsham reached the finish line in 13 minutes 58 seconds to take home first place.
Suzy Walsham has simultaneously become the women's champion in the Vertical World Circuit, reigning as the ultimately celebrated vertical runner along with men's champion Piotr Lobodzinski.

Twins is a Hong Kong-based female Cantopop duo created in the summer of 2001 by Emperor Entertainment Group (EEG). Twins is made up of two girls, Charlene Choi Cheuk-Yin and Gillian Chung Yan-Tung.Charlene Choi was born in Vancouver, Canada on November 22, 1982. Hong Kong Vlog 20 ☁ Repulse Bay day trip! Red Mister Karaoke
this is a two day vlog! rarity =O but some days i don't have much footage so i may as well combine two together. i LOVE beach days! and i love editing those as well, something about seeing the sea and sand even in vlogs gives such a happy feeling. who else loves the beach?! just brings back good memories. we visited repulse bay together today, which in chinese translates to shallow water bay. really lovely beach i'd say, i like the proximity to the shopping mall (the pulse) and 7/11 and pizza hut etc just a few seconds away as well. felt less rural, some of the beaches we visited were really far away from civilisation it felt like lol. ~** Please use my Airbnb referral code for £25 off your first booking!
