MAIN TOPICS 1. Looks like Fox’s Gambit movie may finally have found a new director after Rupert Wyatt left the project a couple months ago. The Hollywood Reporter is claiming that Edge of Tomorrow director Doug Liman is very close to inking a deal to helm the Channing Tatum led X-Men spin-off film. Other directors that were in consideration were Joe Cornish, Shane Black and before signing on the Fast & Furious Franchise, F Gary Gray. Gambit is set for a October 7th, 2016 release. 2. Last night a new Star Wars: The Force Awakens TV spot debuted on ABC. This one minute preview is a mix of footage we’ve seen before in previous trailers and TV spots and also some never before seen shots and dialogue. With the movie being a little over a month away, the amount of new footage released in the past few weeks has been a surprise considering how little was shown before. According to the Wrap, the next two sequels to the Fifty Shades of Grey franchise, Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed will be shot back to back next year. Also it looks like they have found a director in James Foley who has agreed to helm both movies. The first film had a budget of $40 million dollars and went on to make $570 million worldwide. Fifty Shades Darker will come to theaters on February 10th, 2017 and Fifty Shades Freed finishes the trilogy on February 9th, 2018. 4. New character posters for the upcoming Alex Proyas fantasy film Gods of Egypt have been released. The official synopsis for the movie reads: Magic, monsters, gods and madness reign throughout the palaces and pyramids of the Nile River Valley in this action-adventure inspired by the classic mythology of Egypt. With the survival of mankind hanging in the balance, an unexpected hero takes a thrilling journey to save the world and rescue his true love. Set (Gerard Butler), the merciless god of darkness, has usurped Egypt’s throne, plunging the once peaceful and prosperous empire into chaos and conflict. My question is about good and bad actors, I always get confuse when people say this person is a actor/actress, but aren't they just doing what and how the director asked them. I like to think that there are no bad actors, i think that it's directors fault that he/she didn't pull off the best from their actors. For example if Leo DiCaprio played in a movie, and turns out to be really really bad, that would be the director's fault that he couldn't pull off the best out of Leo?? Your thoughts???
