We recently went to Maui, Hawaii and stay at the Grand Wailea Resort. We went on so many little adventures during our trip and we will share them all with you, up first is Day 1 - at the beach & hotel with Water Slides, a Water Elevator, a Tarzan Rope Swing that goes into an 8 foot pool and so much more!! A walking tour in the Waikiki beach area of the city of Honolulu on the island of Oahu , Hawaii. The film progresses from the early morning to late at night.

While you’re there, try a Japanese fusion dish or sample from the numerous other eateries lining the city. Stick around as evening falls and you’ll see hula dancers and a breathtaking sunset.

So here is our Day 2 in Hawaii, we were pretty lazy the first half of the day because of the 6 hour time-zone change but there is still so much fun like when Mike gets stuck in our house's elevator (LOL), we hope you enjoy it! The first half is all in the home, then we go to Cove Park in Kihei, Maui where we meet 3 fans of ours right after they watch us freak out from a fear of Sharks in the Water!

We did so much in this HIKE it was hard to split it up into different videos but we hope you enjoy our epic TWIN FALLS Hike (on the road to HANA). This takes place directly after the end of our part 5 video in Hawaii (COCONUT WATER TASTES LIKE PEE). Thumbs up for family vlogs!

Video Summary: we cross some creeks, lots of feet and shoes get wet, we jump off of one waterfall and trek to another, Mom & Chase are in danger, the trail gets a bit Jurassic, we find indigenous fruit after rock poop plops, the frog killer gets recognized and so much more we hope you enjoy it all. It is the northernmost island group in Polynesia, occupying most of an archipelago in the central Pacific Ocean.
Hawaii’s diverse natural scenery, warm tropical climate, abundance of public beaches and oceanic surrounding, and active volcanoes make it a popular destination for tourists, surfers, biologists, and volcanologists alike. Due to its mid-Pacific location, Hawaii has many North American and Asian influences along with its own vibrant native culture. Hawaii has over a million permanent residents along with many visitors and U.S. military personnel. Its capital is Honolulu on the island of Oʻahu.
The state encompasses nearly the entire volcanic Hawaiian Island chain, which comprises hundreds of islands spread over 1,500 miles (2,400 km). At the southeastern end of the archipelago, the eight "main islands" are (from the northwest to southeast) Niʻihau, Kauaʻi, Oʻahu, Molokaʻi, Lānaʻi, Kahoʻolawe, Maui, and the island of Hawaiʻi. The last is by far the largest and is often called "The Big Island" to avoid confusion with the state as a whole. The archipelago is physiographically and ethnologically part of the Polynesian subregion of Oceania.

So here is our Day 2 in Hawaii, we were pretty lazy the first half of the day because of the 6 hour time-zone change but there is still so much fun like when Mike gets stuck in our house's elevator (LOL), we hope you enjoy it! The first half is all in the home, then we go to Cove Park in Kihei, Maui where we meet 3 fans of ours right after they watch us freak out from a fear of Sharks in the Water!

Video Summary: we cross some creeks, lots of feet and shoes get wet, we jump off of one waterfall and trek to another, Mom & Chase are in danger, the trail gets a bit Jurassic, we find indigenous fruit after rock poop plops, the frog killer gets recognized and so much more we hope you enjoy it all. Sorry we couldn't make it shorter, we had too much fun to share! :)

1.USS Arizona Memorial, Oahu
Visiting the remains of the USS Arizona will encourage you to contemplate the sense of sacrifice our military personnel endured during the Pearl Harbor attack. The USS Arizona Memorial is the mid-section of the sunken battleship and offers visitors the opportunity to learn more about that fateful day. The guided tour of the USS Arizona Memorial includes a 23-minute documentary film, a short boat trip and a self-guided exploration of the Memorial. Must-do's are: visit the Remembrance Circle, rent the audio headset for the tour, and explore the visitor center.
2. Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, Big Island
The most-visited attraction in the Sate of Hawaii is the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park with around 3 million visitors per year. This must-see park encompasses the summit of the world's most active volcano, Kilauea, and the world's most massive volcano, Mauna Loa. The park offers unique hiking and camping opportunities. Start at the Kilauea Visitor Center to receive the latest information on trails, range-led activities, road conditions, and safety precautions.
3.Waikiki Beach
Waikiki, with its beautiful stretch of oceanfront beach, is Hawaii's biggest tourist attraction. A suburb of Honolulu, Waikiki is easy to reach and offers all the amenities and entertainment of a modern city. At the end of the crescent shaped beach is the extinct volcano known as Diamond Head Crater, adding a spectacular backdrop to the incredible sun drenched beach.
4.Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve, Oahu
This beautiful, sheltered bay was once damaged by years of excessive use and neglect. In 1990, the City and County of Honolulu began great plans to restore Hanauma Bay. After more than a decade of efforts, Hanauma Bay was restored into a pristine marine ecosystem by reducing the number of visitors, establishing an education program, and instituting supportive restrictions. These improvements have created some amazing snorkeling and swimming opportunities. Must-do's are: visit the education center, pick up a fish I.D. card before snorkeling, and talk with the volunteers at the beach kiosk.
5.Diamond Head State Monument, Oahu
Diamond Head is Hawaii's most famous landmark. Known in Hawaiian as Le'ahi, so named by Hi'laka, the sister of the fire god Pele, because the summit supposedly resembles the forehead (lae) of the yellowfin tuna fish ('ahi). It wasn't until the late 1700's, when western traders thought they had found diamonds on the slope of the crater, that they began to call it Diamond Head.
6.Puuhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park, Big Island
Located on the Big Island, the Pu`uhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park is a 182-acre park full of archeological sites and reconstructions of an ancient Hawaiian "Place of Refuge".
7.Kilauea National Wildlife Refuge, Kauai
Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge is located on Kauai's north shore, and is 203 acres of protected land. Discover Hawaii's wildlife as you explore the refuge, such as the Pacific golden plover, Laysan albatross, and Hawaii's State Bird (the nene). Just off shore you might glimpse humpback whales (in winter months), Hawaiian monk seals, and spinner dolphins.
8.Panaewa Rainforest Zoo, Big Island
The Panaewa Rainforest Zoo is the only tropical zoo in the United States and shouldn't be missed during your Big Island vacation. You will encounter a variety of rainforest animals and endangered Hawaiian animals, such as a white Bengal tiger, spider monkeys, lemurs, nene geese (the Hawaiian State bird), and over 80 other animal species. The Panaewa Rainforest Zoo is also considered a botanical garden covered with orchids, bamboos, 100 varieties of palms, and a water garden. 1.USS Arizona Memorial, Oahu

3.Waikiki Beach
Waikiki, with its beautiful stretch of oceanfront beach, is Hawaii's biggest tourist attraction. A suburb of Honolulu, Waikiki is easy to reach and offers all the amenities and entertainment of a modern city. At the end of the crescent shaped beach is the extinct volcano known as Diamond Head Crater, adding a spectacular backdrop to the incredible sun drenched beach.
4.Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve, Oahu
This beautiful, sheltered bay was once damaged by years of excessive use and neglect. In 1990, the City and County of Honolulu began great plans to restore Hanauma Bay. After more than a decade of efforts, Hanauma Bay was restored into a pristine marine ecosystem by reducing the number of visitors, establishing an education program, and instituting supportive restrictions. These improvements have created some amazing snorkeling and swimming opportunities. Must-do's are: visit the education center, pick up a fish I.D. card before snorkeling, and talk with the volunteers at the beach kiosk.
5.Diamond Head State Monument, Oahu
Diamond Head is Hawaii's most famous landmark. Known in Hawaiian as Le'ahi, so named by Hi'laka, the sister of the fire god Pele, because the summit supposedly resembles the forehead (lae) of the yellowfin tuna fish ('ahi). It wasn't until the late 1700's, when western traders thought they had found diamonds on the slope of the crater, that they began to call it Diamond Head.
6.Puuhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park, Big Island
Located on the Big Island, the Pu`uhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park is a 182-acre park full of archeological sites and reconstructions of an ancient Hawaiian "Place of Refuge".

Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge is located on Kauai's north shore, and is 203 acres of protected land. Just off shore you might glimpse humpback whales (in winter months), Hawaiian monk seals, and spinner dolphins.

We somehow managed to make a huge mess at a restaurant cafe in Maui, Hawaii with Mustard and Ketchup!! What a great way to end our trip in Hawaii, but the fun doesn't end there. We make up a song about Rain lol and then Dad gives the kids a "serious" pep talk. Then, we go surprise two fans of ours at a local Wailea Mall. We met their father in our Part 4 vid and he was bummed out because the kids weren't with him so we offered to meet them so we hung out with them and bought them some ice cream mochi! They were so nice they gave us some Hawaiin food related gifts, one of which we'll TRY to have a taste test with in a future Funnel Vision challenge vid. Well, we enjoyed meeting all the fans during our trip to Hawaii, over 15 of them! We hope you enjoyed this vid and if you see us in public, don't be shy! :) THUMBS UP for the Crazy Finale!

Kristie Wolfe spent $5000 to build herself a tiny home on wheels in her hometown of Pocatello, Idaho. It started off as a yearlong experiment in simple living, but she liked it so much she decided to keep living small, not only in Idaho, but she began looking for land to build a tiny vacation home.
She bought a plot of land in Hawaii sight-unseen for $8000. A year later she bought a plane ticket, packed her bags full of tools and with the help of her mother, began to build a bamboo “treehouse” that to fit the surrounding jungle (though rather than using trees for support, she built it on stilts). After two months of building every day “from dawn to dusk” and an $11,000 investment, she had a second home.
For Wolfe, the fact that it’s small- 15’ by 15’ or 225 square feet- is an asset. “My original house was 97 square feet so that was really tiny so this feels huge… I think small homes are beautiful because it fits with my lifestyle. I think having a lot of stuff mentally weighs you down even in ways that you don’t realize.”
Building her own home meant that Kristie was able to design everything custom: from a toilet-sink to save water (she’s not only off-grid, but she relies on rainwater capture for water) to an indoor/outdoor shower with cork-bark tiling. Whether she ever moves here permanently or simply moves on to building yet another home, she now knows she can build her own shelter.
