10. MARY KAY BERGMAN
Bergman was 38 when she committed suicide in her own apartment in
the fall of
1999. She had been suffering from a generalized anxiety
disorder and manic depression.
9. HERVE VILLECHAIZE
Herve Villechaize, a
French actor famous for his roles in the
James Bond
flciks,
Tattoo and
Fantasy Island who suffered from dwarfism, shot
himself in
1993 at age 50.
Villechaize suffered from alcoholism, legal
problems and a lagging career, but according to his suicide note, chronic
health problems (due primarily to his small size) ultimately caused him
to take his own life.
8. BRAD DELP
Brad Delp, the lead vocalist of the band
Boston, committed suicide at
the age of 55 by carbon monoxide poisoning in
2007. He was set to marry
Pamela Sullivan, his girlfriend of seven years, at the time of his
death.From the mid-1990s until his death in 2007, Delp also played in a
side project when he had time off from Boston – a
Beatles tribute band
called
Beatlejuice. Delp left a suicide note that read, I am a lonely soul.
7. ERNEST HEMINGWAY
Hemingway’s love for wine developed into alcoholism later in life,
leading to high blood pressure and liver problems. Shortly after
receiving
ECT at
Mayo Clinic in
1961, he attempted suicide at his home
in
Sun Valley.
6. KURT COBAIN
This lead singer of the ever-sensational band,
Nirvana, was found dead
in his
Lake Washington home on
April 8th ,
1994. The post-mortem
report stated that high doses of heroin and traces of diazepam in his
blood were the reason of his death. His body was discovered several days
after the death. was not his first attempt at suicide.
5. JONATHAN BRANDIS
Jonathan Brandis, the
American actor, director and screenwriter, started
his career at the age of 5 and became famous with the role of
Lucas
Wolenczak, a teen prodigy on the
NBC series seaQuest
DSV. Sadly, he
committed suicide when he hanged himself in
2003 for unknown
reasons, although some of his friends said he had been depressed about
his faltering career.
4. ELLIOTT
SMITH
Eliott Smith, a singer, songwriter and a musician, was born in
Omaha,
Nabraska, was found dead in his kitchn with a knife in his chest after his
girlfriend heard him scream.
Elliott had a gift for creating music that
took you to another place and his voice was totally unique.
3. GURU DUTT
Guru Dutt, who was considered one of the greatest icons and a
legendary of his time, was found dead in his bed after a heavy dosage of
sleeping pills and alcohol, on
10 October 1964. He entered the
Indian
film industry in
1944, working as a choreographer in
Prabhat Studios.
There, he became friends with
Dev Anand (whom he met when they
worked on the film
Hum Ek Hain (1946)) and
Rehman.
Williams died on the morning of August 11, 2014, at his home in
Paradise
Cay, California. In the initial report released on August 12, the
Marin
County Sheriff's Office deputy coroner stated Williams had hanged
himself with a belt and died from asphyxiation. His body was cremated
and his ashes scattered in
San Francisco Bay on August 12.

Marilyn
Monroe was an actress, model and singer. After spending much of her
childhood in foster homes,
Monroe began a career as a model, which led
to a film contract in 1946 with
Twentieth Century-Fox. She died at 36 on
August 5th, 1962 by a barbiturates overdose. Several conspiracy theorists
think that she was murdered because she became privy of some state
secrets she was not supposed to know of.
