A documentary about smoking in terms of health and why people smoke. It contains interviews with smokers and non smokers.
I've tried smoking for a few weeks just before making this documentary to see what's it really like, and to know what it feels like. My lips were dry; I didn't smell fresh; I started to cough and noticed big difference in my conditioning. I know that if I smoked I would probably die really quick as my body can't handle it. I know guys who are over 80 years of age and still live but that's not the point. We want to maximise our health, not just get through another day.

The first instalment to my four-part countdown of the TOP 40 SCARIEST ANTI-SMOKING COMMERCIALS ever produced.

The title of this video is self-explanatory. The commercials in this countdown may scare or shock you into either giving up smoking completely, or steer you well away from ever touching a cigarette.

Smoking is one of the worst habit spread in people. It's the one of the common of using drugs. . Less common drugs for smoking include cannabis and opium.
The history of smoking can be dated to as early as 5000 BC, and has been recorded in many different cultures across the world. Early smoking evolved in association with religious ceremonies; as offerings to deities, in cleansing rituals or to allow shamans and priests to alter their minds for purposes of divination or spiritual enlightenment. After the European exploration and conquest of the Americas, the practice of smoking tobacco quickly spread to the rest of the world. In regions like India and Subsaharan Africa, it merged with existing practices of smoking (mostly of cannabis). I know guys who are over 80 years of age and still live but that's not the point. We want to maximise our health, not just get through another day. Take control of your health now. For generations, the Tobacco industry has tried to convince millions of people that smoking is cool, sexy and completely harmless. And they have done a good job -for every day, we smoke billions of cigarettes -- year in and year out. In fact it is one of the most successful advertising campaigns in history and one in which seduction, suppression and the distortion of facts have been a crucial element. Because for more than 50 years, it has been a well-known fact that smoking causes cancer, and despite the fall in tobacco consumption in developed countries, the global consumption of tobacco continues to rise. Smoking is still one of the most frequent causes of death in the world, and the number of people who die due to smoking is now over four million a year. Smoking is still one of the most frequent causes of death in the world, and the number of people who die due to smoking is now over four million a year. The epidemic, as World health Organisation calls it, will apparently never end.
The documentary is part of the international awarded series "Late Lessons from Early Warnings" which explores how we have been able to respond to warnings about the hazards posed by some of the greatest technological innovations of the last century.
