This is an English grammar lesson about reflexive pronouns and intensive pronouns.
Here is the list: myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself, ourselves, yourselves and themselves)
Reflexive pronouns are used when the subject and object of the sentence are the same person. They take the place of the object and they reflect back to the subject.
An example is "I hurt myself while playing football." In this lesson, I explain in detail how to use these pronouns to form reflexive verbs as well as describing common mistakes and how to avoid making them.
Intensive pronouns are the same words as the reflexives but are used very differently. We use them to emphasise a noun (the antecedent), usually the subject.
In the lesson, I explain in detail how to use them with several examples.
At the end of the lesson, there are some exercises to test your understanding.
The accent in the video is a British English accent.

Reflexive pronouns indicate that the person who implements the action of the verb is also the recipient of the action.

What are Reflexive Pronouns?
Pronouns are words that replace a noun or noun phrase!
“Reflexive pronouns” are words that refer
back to the subject of a sentence or clause!
These words end in either “-self” as in the singular form
or “-selves” as in the plural form.
There are eight reflexive pronouns!
They are “Myself, yourself, himself, herself,
itself, ourselves, yourselves, themselves.”
I did not include “Oneself.”
It is considered old English and
is rarely used in spoken English.
These same pronouns are
also used as “Intensifying pronouns.”
Can you find the reflexive pronouns?
I can see myself in the mirror!
Can you see yourself in that new job?
He was looking at himself in the window reflection!
Help yourselves to the food and enjoy the party.
She sent herself a copy of the letter today!
My dog hurt itself while climbing over the fence!
We blame ourselves for the poor company profits!
They always take care of themselves!

He always compliments himself after cooking a meal!

Reflexive pronoun
In language, a reflexive pronoun, sometimes simply called a reflexive, is a pronoun that is preceded or followed by the noun, adjective, adverb or pronoun to which it refers (its antecedent) within the same clause.
In English specifically, a reflexive pronoun is a pronoun that ends in self or selves, and is an object that refers to a previously named noun or pronoun. Reflexive pronouns take the same forms as intensive pronouns: myself, yourself, himself, ourselves, itself, themselves, yourselves
In generative grammar, a reflexive pronoun is an anaphor that must be bound by its antecedent (see binding). In a general sense, it is a noun phrase that obligatorily gets its meaning from another noun phrase in the sentence. Different languages have different binding domains for reflexive pronouns, according to their structure.
Origins and usage
In Indo-European languages, the reflexive pronoun has its origins in Proto-Indo-European. In some languages, the distinction between the normal object and reflexive pronouns exists mainly in the third person: whether one says "I like me" or "I like myself", there is no question that the object is the same person as the subject; but, in "They like them(selves)", there can be uncertainty about the identity of the object unless a distinction exists between the reflexive and the nonreflexive. In some languages, this distinction includes genitive forms: see, for instance, the Danish examples below. In languages with a distinct reflexive pronoun form, it is often gender-neutral.

Leaf
A leaf is an organ of a vascular plant and is the principal lateral appendage of the stem. The leaves and stem together form the shoot.Foliage is a mass noun that refers to leaves collectively.
Typically a leaf is a thin, dorsiventrally flattened organ, borne above ground and specialized for photosynthesis. Most leaves have distinctive upper (adaxial) and lower (abaxial) surfaces that differ in colour, hairiness, the number of stomata (pores that intake and output gases) and other features. In most plant species, leaves are broad and flat. Such species are referred to as broad-leaved plants. Many gymnosperm species have thin needle-like leaves that can be advantageous in cold climates frequented by snow and frost. Leaves can also have other shapes and forms such as the scales in certain species of conifers. Some leaves are not above ground (such as bulb scales). Succulent plants often have thick juicy leaves, but some leaves are without major photosynthetic function and may be dead at maturity, as in some cataphylls, and spines). Furthermore, several kinds of leaf-like structures found in vascular plants are not totally homologous with them. Examples include flattened plant stems (called phylloclades and cladodes), and phyllodes (flattened leaf stems), both of which differ from leaves in their structure and origin. Many structures of non-vascular plants, and even of some lichens, which are not plants at all (in the sense of being members of the kingdom Plantae), look and function much like leaves. The primary site of photosynthesis in most leaves (palisade mesophyll) almost always occurs on the upper side of the blade or lamina of the leaf but in some species, including the mature foliage of Eucalyptus palisade occurs on both sides and the leaves are said to be isobilateral.

Leaf (Japanese company)
Leaf is a Japanese visual novel studio under the publisher Aquaplus, and has offices in Yodogawa-ku, Osaka, and Tokyo. It and its competitor Key (to which it is often compared) are two of the most popular and successful dedicated visual novel studios operating today. It was launched out of obscurity by its early release To Heart. Leaf used the XviD video codec in several games: Aruru to Asobo!!, Tears to Tiara, Kusari, and ToHeart2 X Rated. Since XviD is free software, released under the GPL, Leaf was forced to release the source code to those games under the same license. One still required the game data to actually play the games with the source code. In addition, a free software engine called xlvns was developed soon after Leaf released its first three visual novels. Characters from Utawarerumono, Tears to Tiara, To Heart, and Kizuato are playable in Aquapazza: Aquaplus Dream Match, a fighting game developed by Aquaplus featuring characters from various Leaf games.

This is an English grammar lesson about reflexive pronouns and intensive pronouns.
Here is the list: myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself, ourselves, yourselves and themselves)
Reflexive pronouns are used when the subject and object of the sentence are the same person. They take the place of the object and they reflect back to the subject.
An example is "I hurt myself while playing football." In this lesson, I explain in detail how to use these pronouns to form reflexive verbs as well as describing common mistakes and how to avoid making them.
Intensive pronouns are the same words as the reflexives but are used very differently. We use them to emphasise a noun (the antecedent), usually the subject.
In the lesson, I explain in detail how to use them with several examples.
At the end of the lesson, there are some exercises to test your understanding.
The accent in the video is a British English accent.

What are Reflexive Pronouns?
Pronouns are words that replace a noun or noun phrase!
“Reflexive pronouns” are words that refer
back to the subject of a sentence or clause!
These words end in either “-self” as in the singular form
or “-selves” as in the plural form.
There are eight reflexive pronouns!
They are “Myself, yourself, himself, herself,
itself, ourselves, yourselves, themselves.”
I did not include “Oneself.”
It is considered old English and
is rarely used in spoken English.
These same pronouns are
also used as “Intensifying pronouns.”
Can you find the reflexive pronouns?
I can see myself in the mirror!
Can you see yourself in that new job?
He was looking at himself in the window reflection!
Help yourselves to the food and enjoy the party.

私は夢日記を書くのが日課だ。 夢日記というのはその日見た夢を日記として書くことだ。
それを続けると夢を現実として認識できるようになるだとか、
現実と夢の境目が分からなくなって危険だとかなんて語られるけど、実際そんなことはない。少なくとも私は。
むしろそうやってやることは精神療法になるなんて言う人だっている。
まあそれは多分継続的になにかを続けること全般に対して言えることなんだろうけど。
ともあれ私はなんとなく楽しいから続けていただけだ。 それを読み返すと過去の思い出が増えたような気分になるのだ。
言ってしまえば記憶も夢も、過去になった時点で大差無い、確かに在った出来事だと言えるのだから。
だが意外と書くのは難しい。夢というのはものすごい早さで記憶から消えていくのだ。
文字を書いている間でさえどんどんと何があったか思い出せなくなっていく。
文章を書くにも出来るだけ短くしなければならない。
プロのインタビュアーなんかは文字じゃなくて、
造形が極めて簡単な独自の記号でインタビューしたことを全てメモするらしいけど、
あいにく私にはそんなことはできない。 なので夢日記も結構ミスする。的確にメモするのも中々難しいのだ。
そんなで夢日記をつけているのだが最近はやたらと悪夢が多い。 しかも感覚がリアルなのだ。
死ぬことはもちろん、死なずに延々と苦しむこともある。
死ぬと夢から覚めてハッとするけど、覚める直前までは確かに現実のように感覚がある。
痛い。苦しい。そういうものばかり。 お陰で最近は寝ることが怖い。すごく怖い。
寝る度に文字通り死ぬような痛みを味わっているのだから。 それでも夢日記をつけることはやめないのは偉いと思う。
いや、苦しみを味わっても目が覚める度にそれがリセットされるというそれこそが、
夢日記をつけようという動機なのかもしれない。
もしかしたらいつか本当に死ぬかもしれないのだから。
そして、こうも悪夢ばかり見るようになった心当たりは一つだけある。 あの薬だ。
メアノール錠、
その薬はお医者さんから処方されたものではなく私が勝手に買った抗鬱剤だ。
私は鬱なのだ。元々は病院で処方される薬を飲んだりしていたがまるで効果がない。
カウンセリングなんかも受けたことがあるけどはなから信用していない。
そうこうしてるうちに案の定処方された薬も飲まなくなり、外に出る気力もなくなった。
まず部屋から出ること自体が大きな大きな関門なのだ。 ご飯も食べなくなって倒れたり吐いたりした。
吐いても何もでないのに何を吐いたんだろうか。ウケる。
そんなある日幸か不幸か、インターネットでとある抗鬱剤を見つけた。
正確にいうと探していたわけでもなく、
挑戦する気もない自殺方法を調べていたらお節介なことに載せられていたページで目に入ったのだ。
（死にたい人を引き止めるのは本当に幸せなんだろうかとも思うが。）
主作用は著しい抗鬱効果、気分の高揚、そして鬱自体の改善、栄養の調整、効力も極めて長いと至れり尽くせりらしい。
ただそれよりも私はその副作用に惹かれた。 「死に至る程の強い悪夢」 と書かれていた。
本当に死に至るのかは胡散臭すぎるが、
主作用が回復、副作用が死とは自殺志願者ならどっちに転んでもメリットがある。
それに私自身夢日記をつけていたため悪夢を見るのも割と楽しかった。
更に言うなら、副作用に悪夢という薬は意外と存在する。
実際薬のせいで悪夢を見るのか、関係なく悪夢を見ているのかはわからないのが現状で、
正直大したことはないらしいのだ。
内心信じていなかったのだ。 今思えばこれは舐めすぎだった。
使用量をよく読まずに大量に飲んでしまったのだ。
ODなんて前もしたことがあるしという軽い気持ちで服用したのは自分だが。
よく考えれば自殺サイトに載ってるんだから、これは元々「それ」専用だったのかもしれないし、
「それ」を覚悟できてる人が服用するものだったのかもしれない。
少なくともマジだ。 これは地獄のような悪夢を見る。夢の中で私は何度も何度も死ぬのだ。
それも現実と全く同じリアルな痛みで。
往来にして薬による自殺は苦しいらしいが、 それに意図せずして挑戦してしまうとはなんて愚か。
ああ死にたい。いや、死んでるのか。ああ、ああ。
自殺したいと言ってはいたけど、こんなに苦しいのが嫌なのは確かだ。
そしてこれが困ったことに薬のお陰で目が覚めている間は気分が良い。
腹が立ちそうなくらい気分が晴れやか。 お陰でこうして文章を書くことさえできているのは偉い。
ただ、これは罠だと気付いた。 実際は「主作用が死で、副作用で生きたくなる」というものなのではとないかと。
所詮夢の中で死ぬだけなら大したことないと思うかもしれないが、
その夢の中は現実で受けるのと同じ苦しみを味わう。
「死に至る程の悪夢」が指すのは、てっきり夢の中での死だと思っていたが、
夢の中での感覚がリアルだと脳がショック死するなんて噂を聞いたことがあるし、
もしかしたら現実の死を指してるのかもしれない。 だとしたら多分それが原因で私は現実でも死ぬんだ。
むしろ今なぜ生還しているのかの方が不思議な程だ。 それほど感覚がリアルなのだ。
ただ、夢にしろ現実にしろ、どちらもあまり変わりないのかもしれない。
だって、私自身は何度も苦しんで死んでいる感覚は確かなのだ。
槍を身体中に突き刺すような痛み、天井に押し潰される痛み、水に溺れ酸素を求める苦しみ、
それは夢の中でも私にとっては全て本物。
私に残された道は一つ、効果が切れるまで耐えるしかない。
もう服用してから数日近く経ったがまだ切れない。
どれくらい長いかわからないし、それまで何度も死なねばならない。
だがそれしか道はないのだ。こんな愚か者に課せられた罰なのか。
もし現実でも死んだらきっと外傷はないであろう私がどうして死んだか、
その経緯が分かるようここに現実の日記と夢日記を書き残しておく。

The Nissan Leaf is a compact five-door hatchback electric vehicle manufactured by Nissan. It is one of the most popular electric cars in the world. First introduced in 2010 for the Japanese and USA markets, it got tremendous popularity in the the rest of the world within quite a short period of time.
Nissan Leaf cars had tax benefits due to the use of zero emission power-trains, and were sold for a relatively low price tag. It is one of the many reasons why Nissan Leaf got ultimate popularity in Sri Lankan market. But the current status of Nissan Leaf cars are very pathetic. The demand to the Nissan Leaf cars has been much reduced during the past few years. Mainly due to the lack Nissan Leaf batteries in Sri Lanka.
This has resulted in a drop in the second hand market for the Nissan Leaf cars in Sri Lanka. Nissan Leaf owners are not in a position to have their vehicles sold for at least 1 million rupees.
Since Nissan leaf batteries are not available some tried replacing battery cells, but this was not a long term solution. Nissan Leaf battery replacement sometimes lead to dangerous side effects such as fires and battery explosion. And some times, the cells used in Nissan Leaf Battery Cell replacement were also not in good condition and didn't last long. Although Nissan Leaf batteries can be repaired, the technicians doing Nisasn Leaf battery repairs are not abundant in Sri Lanka. Therefore Nissan leaf battery repair was a nightmare , which one should never try.
Some owners wanted to convert Nissan leaf cars to Petrol engines but it has been very unsuccessful. As Nissan Leaf cars have Zero Emission tax benefits, Nissan leaf petrol conversion is not accepted by the relevant authorities. Nissan Leaf Petrol conversion is carried out by certain garages but the results are not so satisfying. The engines used in the Nissan Leaf Petrol conversion is a Vitz engine, but many changes should be done before the Nissan Leaf Petrol Conversion. This is not the perfect solution for the Nissan Leaf battery problem.
But a very practical solution to this Nissan Leaf battery problem has been found recently. This solution is to convert the Nissan Leaf electric car into a hybrid mode. Since hybrid cars are freely available in Sri Lanka, the expertise and resources to maintain those vehicle are very much sufficient. The engine and the motors used in the Nissan Leaf Hybrid conversion are from Toyota Aqua cars. Though unbelievable, Toyota Aqua parts exactly match with those of Nissan Leaf cars. Parts are freely interchangeable among the two cars. There are many advantages of converting the Nissan Leaf into Hybrid. After the Nissan Leaf hybrid conversion, car can be driven anywhere in Sri Lanka. Toyota aqua is currently used in this Nissan Leaf hybrid conversion.
So, this conversion of Nissan Leaf Electric Car in to hybrids, starts with the above idea in the mind. If you have a Nissan Leaf, this is the best chance to have your car converted into a hybrid vehicle. You can get a 5 year warranty for the conversion plus 2 year warranty for the new hybrid battery.

ලංකාවේ හයිබ්රිඩ් කරපු පළවැනි නිසාන් ලිෆ් ඉලෙක්ට්රික් කාර් එක.. හයිබ්රිඩ් කරන්න පුළුවන් විදියට නිසාන් ලිෆ් එක සැලසුම් කරද කියලත් හිතෙන තරමටම මේ ක්රියාවලිය සාර්ථක වෙලා තියෙනවා.. නිසාන් ලිෆ් කියනේ ලංකාවේ වගේම ලෝකේ පුරාම ගොඩක් ජනප්රිය වුනු විදුලි මෝටර් රථයක්.. බදු සහන ලැබුණු නිසා ඉතාමත් අඩු මුදලට නිසාන් ලිෆ් එක අලුතෙන්ම මිලදී ගන්න හැකියාවත් තිබුනා.. නමුත් කාලයක් යද්දී ලිෆ් වල බැටරි ප්රශ්න එන්න ගත්තා.. එකට හේතුව වුනේ ලංකාවේ බැටරි මිලදීගන්න තැනක් නොමැතිවීම.. එන්න එන්නම මේ ලිෆ් වලට තියෙන ඉල්ලුම අඩු වෙලා, මේ වනකොට ලිෆ් එකක් ලක්ෂ 7-8ට පවා දෙන්නේ බැරි වෙන තත්වයක් තියෙනවා.. මේක දැන් ලංකාවේ ලිෆ් හිමිකරුවන්ට තිබෙන විශාල ප්රශ්නයක්.. මේ එකකම සමහර අය ලිෆ් වලට පෙට්රල් එන්ජින් සවිකරන්න ගත්තා.. මේ වැඩේ ගොඩාක් අසාර්ථකයි.. නීතිමය පැත්තෙනුත් බරපතල වරදක් වුනා.. එත් ඒ ප්රශ්නයට මේ වනවිට ලංකාවෙන් ඉතාමත් සාර්ථක විසදුමක් සොයාගෙන තිබෙනවා. ඒ තමයි නිසාන් ලිෆ් කාර් එක හයිබ්රිඩ් කරන එක.. මේකට ගන්නේ ටොයෝට ඇක්වා කාර් එකේ එන්ජිම.. පුදුමේ කියන්නේ ඇක්වා එකේ එන්ජිමයි, අනෙකුත් හැම උපකරනයක්මයි, නිසාන් ලිෆ් එකට හරියටම ගැලපෙන එක.. හරියට නිකන් පස්සේ කාලෙක ඇක්වා එන්ජිමක් තියාගන්න පුළුවන් විදියට නිසාන් ලිෆ් එක සැලසුම් කරද කියලත් හිතෙන තරමටම ඇක්වා එකේ කොටස් ලිෆ් එකට හොඳටම ගැලපෙනවා.. චැසියට, බොඩියට කිසිම හානියක් කරන්නේ නැතුව, ඇක්වා එකේ එන්ජිම ලිෆ් එකට සවි කරන්න පුළුවන්.. ඒ කරන්නේ කොහොමද කියලා මුල ඉඳන් අග වෙනකම්ම මේ වීඩියෝ එකෙන් අපි පෙන්වනවා..

The Nissan Leaf is a compact five-door hatchback electric vehicle manufactured by Nissan. It is one of the most popular electric cars in the world. First introduced in 2010 for the Japanese and USA markets, it got tremendous popularity in the the rest of the world within quite a short period of time.
Nissan Leaf cars had tax benefits due to the use of zero emission power-trains, and were sold for a relatively low price tag. It is one of the many reasons why Nissan Leaf got ultimate popularity in Sri Lankan market. But the current status of Nissan Leaf cars are very pathetic. The demand to the Nissan Leaf cars has been much reduced during the past few years. Mainly due to the lack Nissan Leaf batteries in Sri Lanka.
This has resulted in a drop in the second hand market for the Nissan Leaf cars in Sri Lanka. Nissan Leaf owners are not in a position to have their vehicles sold for at least 1 million rupees.
Since Nissan leaf batteries are not available some tried replacing battery cells, but this was not a long term solution. Nissan Leaf battery replacement sometimes lead to dangerous side effects such as fires and battery explosion. And some times, the cells used in Nissan Leaf Battery Cell replacement were also not in good condition and didn't last long. Although Nissan Leaf batteries can be repaired, the technicians doing Nisasn Leaf battery repairs are not abundant in Sri Lanka. Therefore Nissan leaf battery repair was a nightmare , which one should never try.
Some owners wanted to convert Nissan leaf cars to Petrol engines but it has been very unsuccessful. As Nissan Leaf cars have Zero Emission tax benefits, Nissan leaf petrol conversion is not accepted by the relevant authorities. Nissan Leaf Petrol conversion is carried out by certain garages but the results are not so satisfying. The engines used in the Nissan Leaf Petrol conversion is a Vitz engine, but many changes should be done before the Nissan Leaf Petrol Conversion. This is not the perfect solution for the Nissan Leaf battery problem.
But a very practical solution to this Nissan Leaf battery problem has been found recently. This solution is to convert the Nissan Leaf electric car into a hybrid mode. Since hybrid cars are freely available in Sri Lanka, the expertise and resources to maintain those vehicle are very much sufficient. The engine and the motors used in the Nissan Leaf Hybrid conversion are from Toyota Aqua cars. Though unbelievable, Toyota Aqua parts exactly match with those of Nissan Leaf cars. Parts are freely interchangeable among the two cars. There are many advantages of converting the Nissan Leaf into Hybrid. After the Nissan Leaf hybrid conversion, car can be driven anywhere in Sri Lanka. Toyota aqua is currently used in this Nissan Leaf hybrid conversion.
So, this conversion of Nissan Leaf Electric Car in to hybrids, starts with the above idea in the mind. If you have a Nissan Leaf, this is the best chance to have your car converted into a hybrid vehicle. You can get a 5 year warranty for the conversion plus 2 year warranty for the new hybrid battery.

This is an English grammar lesson about reflexive pronouns and intensive pronouns.
Here is the list: myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself, ourselves, yourselves and themselves)
Reflexive pronouns are used when the subject and object of the sentence are the same person. They take the place of the object and they reflect back to the subject.
An example is "I hurt myself while playing football." In this lesson, I explain in detail how to use these pronouns to form reflexive verbs as well as describing common mistakes and how to avoid making them.
Intensive pronouns are the same words as the reflexives but are used very differently. We use them to emphasise a noun (the antecedent), usually the subject.
In the lesson, I explain in detail how to use them with several examples.
At the end of the lesson, there are some exercises to test your understanding.
The accent in the video is a British English accent.

What are Reflexive Pronouns?
Pronouns are words that replace a noun or noun phrase!
“Reflexive pronouns” are words that refer
back to the subject of a sentence or clause!
These words end in either “-self” as in the singular form
or “-selves” as in the plural form.
There are eight reflexive pronouns!
They are “Myself, yourself, himself, herself,
itself, ourselves, yourselves, themselves.”
I did not include “Oneself.”
It is considered old English and
is rarely used in spoken English.
These same pronouns are
also used as “Intensifying pronouns.”
Can you find the reflexive pronouns?
I can see myself in the mirror!
Can you see yourself in that new job?
He was looking at himself in the window reflection!
Help yourselves to the food and enjoy the party.
She sent herself a copy of the letter today!

Reflexive pronoun
In language, a reflexive pronoun, sometimes simply called a reflexive, is a pronoun that is preceded or followed by the noun, adjective, adverb or pronoun to which it refers (its antecedent) within the same clause.
In English specifically, a reflexive pronoun is a pronoun that ends in self or selves, and is an object that refers to a previously named noun or pronoun. Reflexive pronouns take the same forms as intensive pronouns: myself, yourself, himself, ourselves, itself, themselves, yourselves
In generative grammar, a reflexive pronoun is an anaphor that must be bound by its antecedent (see binding). In a general sense, it is a noun phrase that obligatorily gets its meaning from another noun phrase in the sentence. Different languages have different binding domains for reflexive pronouns, according to their structure.
Origins and usage
In Indo-European languages, the reflexive pronoun has its origins in Proto-Indo-European. In some languages, the distinction between the normal object and reflexive pronouns exists mainly in the third person: whether one says "I like me" or "I like myself", there is no question that the object is the same person as the subject; but, in "They like them(selves)", there can be uncertainty about the identity of the object unless a distinction exists between the reflexive and the nonreflexive. In some languages, this distinction includes genitive forms: see, for instance, the Danish examples below. In languages with a distinct reflexive pronoun form, it is often gender-neutral.

私は夢日記を書くのが日課だ。 夢日記というのはその日見た夢を日記として書くことだ。
それを続けると夢を現実として認識できるようになるだとか、
現実と夢の境目が分からなくなって危険だとかなんて語られるけど、実際そんなことはない。少なくとも私は。
むしろそうやってやることは精神療法になるなんて言う人だっている。
まあそれは多分継続的になにかを続けること全般に対して言えることなんだろうけど。
ともあれ私はなんとなく楽しいから続けていただけだ。 それを読み返すと過去の思い出が増えたような気分になるのだ。
言ってしまえば記憶も夢も、過去になった時点で大差無い、確かに在った出来事だと言えるのだから。
だが意外と書くのは難しい。夢というのはものすごい早さで記憶から消えていくのだ。
文字を書いている間でさえどんどんと何があったか思い出せなくなっていく。
文章を書くにも出来るだけ短くしなければならない。
プロのインタビュアーなんかは文字じゃなくて、
造形が極めて簡単な独自の記号でインタビューしたことを全てメモするらしいけど、
あいにく私にはそんなことはできない。 なので夢日記も結構ミスする。的確にメモするのも中々難しいのだ。
そんなで夢日記をつけているのだが最近はやたらと悪夢が多い。 しかも感覚がリアルなのだ。
死ぬことはもちろん、死なずに延々と苦しむこともある。
死ぬと夢から覚めてハッとするけど、覚める直前までは確かに現実のように感覚がある。
痛い。苦しい。そういうものばかり。 お陰で最近は寝ることが怖い。すごく怖い。
寝る度に文字通り死ぬような痛みを味わっているのだから。 それでも夢日記をつけることはやめないのは偉いと思う。
いや、苦しみを味わっても目が覚める度にそれがリセットされるというそれこそが、
夢日記をつけようという動機なのかもしれない。
もしかしたらいつか本当に死ぬかもしれないのだから。
そして、こうも悪夢ばかり見るようになった心当たりは一つだけある。 あの薬だ。

その薬はお医者さんから処方されたものではなく私が勝手に買った抗鬱剤だ。
私は鬱なのだ。元々は病院で処方される薬を飲んだりしていたがまるで効果がない。
カウンセリングなんかも受けたことがあるけどはなから信用していない。
そうこうしてるうちに案の定処方された薬も飲まなくなり、外に出る気力もなくなった。
まず部屋から出ること自体が大きな大きな関門なのだ。 ご飯も食べなくなって倒れたり吐いたりした。
吐いても何もでないのに何を吐いたんだろうか。ウケる。
そんなある日幸か不幸か、インターネットでとある抗鬱剤を見つけた。
正確にいうと探していたわけでもなく、
挑戦する気もない自殺方法を調べていたらお節介なことに載せられていたページで目に入ったのだ。
（死にたい人を引き止めるのは本当に幸せなんだろうかとも思うが。）
主作用は著しい抗鬱効果、気分の高揚、そして鬱自体の改善、栄養の調整、効力も極めて長いと至れり尽くせりらしい。
ただそれよりも私はその副作用に惹かれた。 「死に至る程の強い悪夢」 と書かれていた。
本当に死に至るのかは胡散臭すぎるが、
主作用が回復、副作用が死とは自殺志願者ならどっちに転んでもメリットがある。
それに私自身夢日記をつけていたため悪夢を見るのも割と楽しかった。
更に言うなら、副作用に悪夢という薬は意外と存在する。
実際薬のせいで悪夢を見るのか、関係なく悪夢を見ているのかはわからないのが現状で、
正直大したことはないらしいのだ。
内心信じていなかったのだ。 今思えばこれは舐めすぎだった。
使用量をよく読まずに大量に飲んでしまったのだ。
ODなんて前もしたことがあるしという軽い気持ちで服用したのは自分だが。
よく考えれば自殺サイトに載ってるんだから、これは元々「それ」専用だったのかもしれないし、
「それ」を覚悟できてる人が服用するものだったのかもしれない。
少なくともマジだ。 これは地獄のような悪夢を見る。夢の中で私は何度も何度も死ぬのだ。
それも現実と全く同じリアルな痛みで。
往来にして薬による自殺は苦しいらしいが、 それに意図せずして挑戦してしまうとはなんて愚か。
ああ死にたい。いや、死んでるのか。ああ、ああ。
自殺したいと言ってはいたけど、こんなに苦しいのが嫌なのは確かだ。
そしてこれが困ったことに薬のお陰で目が覚めている間は気分が良い。
腹が立ちそうなくらい気分が晴れやか。 お陰でこうして文章を書くことさえできているのは偉い。
ただ、これは罠だと気付いた。 実際は「主作用が死で、副作用で生きたくなる」というものなのではとないかと。
所詮夢の中で死ぬだけなら大したことないと思うかもしれないが、
その夢の中は現実で受けるのと同じ苦しみを味わう。
「死に至る程の悪夢」が指すのは、てっきり夢の中での死だと思っていたが、
夢の中での感覚がリアルだと脳がショック死するなんて噂を聞いたことがあるし、
もしかしたら現実の死を指してるのかもしれない。 だとしたら多分それが原因で私は現実でも死ぬんだ。
むしろ今なぜ生還しているのかの方が不思議な程だ。 それほど感覚がリアルなのだ。
ただ、夢にしろ現実にしろ、どちらもあまり変わりないのかもしれない。
だって、私自身は何度も苦しんで死んでいる感覚は確かなのだ。
槍を身体中に突き刺すような痛み、天井に押し潰される痛み、水に溺れ酸素を求める苦しみ、
それは夢の中でも私にとっては全て本物。
私に残された道は一つ、効果が切れるまで耐えるしかない。
もう服用してから数日近く経ったがまだ切れない。
どれくらい長いかわからないし、それまで何度も死なねばならない。
だがそれしか道はないのだ。こんな愚か者に課せられた罰なのか。
もし現実でも死んだらきっと外傷はないであろう私がどうして死んだか、
その経緯が分かるようここに現実の日記と夢日記を書き残しておく。
おやすみなさい。

The Nissan Leaf is a compact five-door hatchback electric vehicle manufactured by Nissan. It is one of the most popular electric cars in the world. First introduced in 2010 for the Japanese and USA markets, it got tremendous popularity in the the rest of the world within quite a short period of time.
Nissan Leaf cars had tax benefits due to the use of zero emission power-trains, and were sold for a relatively low price tag. It is one of the many reasons why Nissan Leaf got ultimate popularity in Sri Lankan market. But the current status of Nissan Leaf cars are very pathetic. The demand to the Nissan Leaf cars has been much reduced during the past few years. Mainly due to the lack Nissan Leaf batteries in Sri Lanka.
This has resulted in a drop in the second hand market for the Nissan Leaf cars in Sri Lanka. Nissan Leaf owners are not in a position to have their vehicles sold for at least 1 million rupees.
Since Nissan leaf batteries are not available some tried replacing battery cells, but this was not a long term solution. Nissan Leaf battery replacement sometimes lead to dangerous side effects such as fires and battery explosion. And some times, the cells used in Nissan Leaf Battery Cell replacement were also not in good condition and didn't last long. Although Nissan Leaf batteries can be repaired, the technicians doing Nisasn Leaf battery repairs are not abundant in Sri Lanka. Therefore Nissan leaf battery repair was a nightmare , which one should never try.
Some owners wanted to convert Nissan leaf cars to Petrol engines but it has been very unsuccessful. As Nissan Leaf cars have Zero Emission tax benefits, Nissan leaf petrol conversion is not accepted by the relevant authorities. Nissan Leaf Petrol conversion is carried out by certain garages but the results are not so satisfying. The engines used in the Nissan Leaf Petrol conversion is a Vitz engine, but many changes should be done before the Nissan Leaf Petrol Conversion. This is not the perfect solution for the Nissan Leaf battery problem.
But a very practical solution to this Nissan Leaf battery problem has been found recently. This solution is to convert the Nissan Leaf electric car into a hybrid mode. Since hybrid cars are freely available in Sri Lanka, the expertise and resources to maintain those vehicle are very much sufficient. The engine and the motors used in the Nissan Leaf Hybrid conversion are from Toyota Aqua cars. Though unbelievable, Toyota Aqua parts exactly match with those of Nissan Leaf cars. Parts are freely interchangeable among the two cars. There are many advantages of converting the Nissan Leaf into Hybrid. After the Nissan Leaf hybrid conversion, car can be driven anywhere in Sri Lanka. Toyota aqua is currently used in this Nissan Leaf hybrid conversion.
So, this conversion of Nissan Leaf Electric Car in to hybrids, starts with the above idea in the mind. If you have a Nissan Leaf, this is the best chance to have your car converted into a hybrid vehicle. You can get a 5 year warranty for the conversion plus 2 year warranty for the new hybrid battery.
