Galt Niederhoffer
Galt Niederhoffer (born October 2, 1976) is an American producer, director and novelist. She has produced over thirty feature films.
Her movie credits as a producer include: Infinitely Polar Bear (2013); Robot & Frank (2012), winner of the Alfred P. Sloan Feature Film Prize at Sundance; Grace Is Gone (2006), winner of the Audience Award and Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award at Sundance; Lonesome Jim (2005), nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance; Prozac Nation (2001)(of which she was also the screenwriter), an adaptation of the best-selling novel; and Hurricane Streets (1997), winner of the awards for Audience, Best Director and Best Cinematography at Sundance (the first feature film to win three awards at the festival).
She has written three published novels. Her first novel, A Taxonomy of Barnacles (2005), about the love and rivalry of six sisters, was loosely based on her family, including her father, the idiosyncratic and highly acclaimed squash champion, economist and hedge fund manager Victor Niederhoffer, and her five sisters. The book's surprise ending was mirrored in real life when her father had a seventh child, a son, a year after the book came out. A movie adaptation of the novel is said to be in production.

The Romantics
The Romantics are rock and roll band often put under the banner of power pop and new wave from Detroit, Michigan, United States, formed in 1976. The band's first show was on Valentine's Day at My Fair Lady Club, in Detroit, opening for the New MC5 in 1977. For three years the band was on the road, playing Boston's Rathskeller, CBGB in NYC's Bowery, Philadelphia, Pa., Hot Club, Cleveland's Agora... signed to Nat Weiss' Nemperor independent Epic/ Portrait record label. The Romantics achieved popularity in the United States, the Netherlands, Germany, Canada, parts of Asia, Australia, Europe, and Hispanic America on the strength of the band's well-crafted pop songs and high energy shows as well as noted for their look; black vinyl to red leather suits in their music videos. They were influenced by 1950s American rock and roll, Detroit's MC5, Stooges, early Bob Seger, Motown R&B, 1960s North American garage rock as well as the British Invasion rockers. music.
Career
The Romantics' original lineup consisted of lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and harmonicist Wally Palmar, lead guitarist and vocalist Mike Skill, bassist and backing vocalist Rich Cole, and drummer and lead vocalist Jimmy Marinos. All four band members made songwriting contributions to the group, but Palmar and Skill were considered the band's primary tunesmiths. After a few years of playing local and regional gigs in Detroit and the Midwest, this lineup of the Romantics recorded the band's self-titled debut album for Nemperor Records in September 1979 with British producer Pete Solley. The group's true record debut was the 1978 single on Spider Records, "Little White Lies" / "I Can't Tell You Anything", followed that year by the Bomp single "Tell It to Carrie" / "First in Line" (on the Bomp! Records label). All of these were re-recorded later for the first LP.

Katie Holmes
Kate Noelle "Katie" Holmes (born December 18, 1978) is an American actress and model who first achieved fame for her role as Joey Potter on The WB television teen drama Dawson's Creek from 1998 to 2003. She appeared in 1998's Disturbing Behavior, a thriller, which won her an MTV Movie Award for Best Breakthrough Performance. In 2000 Holmes featured in Wonder Boys which got positive attention from many leading critics. Holmes hosted Saturday Night Live on February 24, 2001.
Holmes had a starring role in 2003's Pieces of April, a gritty comedy about a dysfunctional family on Thanksgiving. Many critics and audiences agreed that Holmes had given her best performance in the film as April. In the 2005 film Batman Begins, the most successful film of her career to date, she played Rachel Dawes, an attorney in the Gotham City district attorney's office and the childhood sweetheart of the title character. She also appeared in art house films such as The Ice Storm, horror films such as Don't Be Afraid of the Dark and thrillers including Abandon. She has also played on Broadway in a production of Arthur Miller's All My Sons and had numerous guest roles on television programs such as How I Met Your Mother.

Adam Brody
Adam Jared Brody (born December 15, 1979) is an American film and television actor and musician. He is best known for his role as Seth Cohen on The O.C. Brody has co-starred in many films, including Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Thank You for Smoking, Jennifer's Body, In the Land of Women, Cop Out, and Scream 4.
Early life
Brody was born in San Diego, California, to Valerie (Siefman) and Mark Brody. He has younger twin brothers, Sean and Matt. His parents, both Jewish, are originally from Detroit, Michigan, and Brody had a Bar Mitzvah ceremony. Brody attended Wangenheim Middle School and Scripps Ranch High School, receiving "poor grades", and grew up in suburban San Diego, spending time surfing. He has said that while he was not a "Casanova", he had "cute girlfriends" and "pretty much lived at the beach". Brody attended community college for one year and dropped out at the age of nineteen, moving to Hollywood in order to become an actor. He subsequently hired an acting coach and signed with a manager.

Elijah Wood
Elijah Jordan Wood (born January 28, 1981) is an American actor, film producer and DJ. He made his film debut with a minor part in Back to the Future Part II (1989). Landing a succession of larger roles, he was critically acclaimed as a child actor by age 9, being nominated for several Young Artist Awards. As a child, he starred in the films Radio Flyer (1992), The Good Son (1993), North (1994), and Flipper (1996).
He began to take on teenage roles in the films The Ice Storm (1997), Deep Impact and The Faculty (both 1998). He is best known for his high-profile leading role as Frodo Baggins in Peter Jackson's epic film trilogy The Lord of the Rings (2001–2003). Since then, he has chosen varied roles in films such as Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004), Sin City, Green Street, Everything Is Illuminated (all 2005), and Bobby (2006).
Wood also provided the voices of the main character in the award-winning animated musical films Happy Feet (2006) and Happy Feet Two (2011), as well as the eponymous lead in the Tim Burton-produced action/science fiction film 9 (2009). In 2005, he started his own record label, Simian Records. He did the voice acting for Spyro in the Legend of Spyro trilogy. In 2012, he began voicing Beck in the animated series Tron: Uprising, Sigma in the tenth season of the Rooster Teeth series, Red vs. Blue, and Wirt in the Cartoon Network miniseries Over the Garden Wall (2014). From 2011 to 2014, Wood played the role of Ryan Newman in FX's cult dark comedy, Wilfred.

Director Terry Kinney's delightfully poignant and bittersweet comedy poses the question: How much is a good memory worth? That's the question that faces newspaper editor Cooper (Matthew Broderick) after a debilitating concussion takes him from the political pages to comic strip detail. Looking for answers, he travels home to Missouri where his now senile Uncle Rollie (Alan Alda) is on the verge of losing his home. When a valuable baseball card is thrown into the mix, these two men along with a motley group of hometown friends, including Cooper's high school sweetheart, Charlotte (Virginia Madsen) , head to a memorabilia expo to make the deal of a century, diving headfirst into a snakepit of slick salesmen, crooked dealers, and rabid fans revealing that there are some things in life that you can't put a price on. Director Terry Kinney's delightfully poignant and bittersweet comedy poses the question: How much is a good memory worth? That's the question that faces newspaper editor Cooper (Matthew Broderick) after a debilitating concussion takes him from the political pages to comic strip detail. Looking for answers, he travels home to Missouri where his now senile Uncle Rollie (Alan Alda) is on the verge of losing his home. When a valuable baseball card is thrown into the mix, these two men along with a motley group of hometown friends, including Cooper's high school sweetheart, Charlotte (Virginia Madsen) , head to a memorabilia expo to make the deal of a century, diving headfirst into a snakepit of slick salesmen, crooked dealers, and rabid fans revealing that there are some things in life that you can't put a price on. Diminished Capacity also stars Dylan Baker, Louis C.K. and Bobby Cannavale in hilarious supporting roles.
