Namco Limited (株式会社ナムコ, Kabushiki Gaisha Namuko) (commonly referred to as Namco) is a Japanese corporation best known as a former video game developer and publisher. Following a merger with Bandai in September 2005, the two companies' game production assets were spun off into Bandai Namco Games on March 31, 2006, now known as Bandai Namco Entertainment. Namco was re-established to continue domestic operation of video arcades and amusement parks. Its headquarters are located in Ōta, Tokyo. The company's English name is often officially written as NAMCO (in all capital letters).
Namco was a front-runner during the golden age of arcade video games. Pac-Man, arguably their most famous title, went on to become the best-selling arcade game in history and an international popular culture icon. They are also known for creating successful franchises such as Galaxian, Ridge Racer, Ace Combat, Tekken, as well as the Soul and Tales series.
Masaya Nakamura founded the company as Nakamura Manufacturing in 1955. Based in Tokyo, the company started out by running children's rides on the roof of a department store in Yokohama. The business eventually expanded throughout the Tokyo area. Nakamura Manufacturing was reorganized in 1958 and later underwent a name change to Nakamura Amusement Machine Manufacturing Company, which would be used to form the acronym "NAMCO." In 1970, the company produced a coin-operated mechanical driving simulator called "Racer."
Namco Museum (ナムコミュージアム, Namuko Myūjiamu) refers to the series of video game compilations released by Namco for various consoles released in the 5th generation and above, containing releases of their games (mostly arcade games) from the 1980s and early 1990s. Namco started releasing compilations with the "Namco Museum" title in 1995 and continued for a decade and a half with the last release being in 2010 with the exception of re-releases of previous compilations.
The series began on the PlayStation with the tentatively named Namco Museum Volume 1, indicating Namco's intent to make further installments of the series. The series ran until Volume 5 on the PlayStation, covering various games from the late 1980s, before moving onto the Nintendo 64, all of the major sixth generation and seventh generation consoles, and Windows PC.
There are six different volumes available for the PlayStation, including one (Namco Museum Encore) that was released only in Japan. Each volume has five to seven games; all of these were ported from the original arcade version's source code — some of the games such as Galaga and Pac-Man allowed for an alternative screen mode to compensate for the lack of vertical monitor, whereby the scoreboard was located on the left of the screen, or rotated the image 90 degrees if the user possessed a vertical monitor or was willing to risk placing the television/monitor on its side.
Pole Position (ポールポジション, Pōru Pojishon) is an arcade racing video game which was released by Namco in 1982 and licensed to Atari, Inc. for US manufacture and distribution, running on the Namco Pole Position arcade system board. The game was designed by Tōru Iwatani, who had also designed the Gee Bee games and Pac-Man. It was the most popular coin-op arcade game of 1983. Pole Position was released in two configurations: a standard upright cabinet, and an environmental/cockpit cabinet. Both versions feature a steering wheel and a gear shifter for low and high gears, but the environmental/cockpit cabinet featured both an accelerator and a brake pedal, while the standard upright one only featured an accelerator pedal.
By 1983, it had become the highest-grossing arcade game that year in North America, where it had sold over 21,000 machines for $61 million ($150 million in 2016), in addition to earning $450 ($1103 in 2016) weekly revenues per machine. It was the most successful racing game of the classic era, spawning ports, sequels, and a Saturday morning cartoon. The game established the conventions of the racing game genre and its success inspired numerous imitators. Pole Position is regarded as one of the most influential video games of all time and "arguably the most important racing game ever made."
Dig Dug (ディグダグ, Digu Dagu) is an arcade game developed and published by Namco in Japan in 1982. It runs on Namco Galaga hardware, and was later published outside Japan by Atari, Inc.. A popular game based on a simple concept, it was also released as a video game on many consoles.
The objective of Dig Dug is to eliminate underground-dwelling monsters by either inflating them with an air pump until they explode, or by dropping rocks on them. There are two kinds of enemies in the game: "Pookas" (a race of round red monsters, said to be modeled after tomatoes, that wear yellow goggles) and "Fygars" (a race of green dragons that can breathe fire while their wings flash).
The player's character is the eponymous Dig Dug, dressed in white and blue and able to dig tunnels through destructible environments. Dig Dug will be killed if he is caught by either a Pooka or a Fygar, burned by a Fygar's fire, or crushed by a rock he has loosened.
A partially inflated monster will gradually deflate and recover after a few seconds, during which time Dig Dug can pass safely through it. The monsters normally crawl through the tunnels in the dirt but can turn into ghostly eyes and travel slowly through the dirt. The last enemy in a round will try to escape off the top left of the screen - and if he succeeds, the potential points are lost.
A museum (/mjuˈziːəm/; myoo-zee-um) is an institution that cares for (conserves) a collection of artifacts and other objects of artistic, cultural, historical, or scientific importance and makes them available for public viewing through exhibits that may be permanent or temporary. Most large museums are located in major cities throughout the world and more local ones exist in smaller cities, towns and even the countryside. Museums have varying aims, ranging from serving researchers and specialists to serving the general public. The goal of serving researchers is increasingly shifting to serving the general public.
Some of the most attended museums include the Louvre in Paris, the National Museum of China in Beijing, the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C., the British Museum in London, the National Gallery in London and The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. There are many types of museums, including art museums, natural history museums, science museums, war museums and children's museums.

Meet Namco Museum 50th Anniversary played on my Playstation 2. This is my new retro collection of Playstation 2. I'm quite enjoying it, because besides having a great selection of classic Namco it emanates an atmosphere of the 80s which is my favorite time ever. The selection of classics is optimal, with 16 titles which are as follows: Pac-Man (1980), Ms. Pac-Man (1981), Galaga (1981), Galaxian (1979), Dig Dug (1982), Pole Position (1982), Pole Position II (1983), Rolling Thunder (1986), Rally-X (1980), Bosconian (1981), Dragon Spirit (1987), Sky Kid (1985), Xevious (1982), Mappy (1983), Pac-Mania (1987) - locked initially, Galaga '88 (1987) - locked initially. In this video, divided into two parts, I play some of these games. Follow me... and to see me playing other retro compilations/...
The collection on these consoles include all the games from Namco Museum 64 and the Dreamcast's Namco Museum plus Pac-Man Arrangement (1996), Galaga Arrangement (1995), Dig Dug Arrangement (1996), Pac-Attack (1993), Pac-Mania (1987), and Pole Position II (1983). Pac-Attack and Pac-Mania must be unlocked by scoring 25000 in Pac-Man, and 20000 in Ms. Pac-Man respectively. This edition of Namco Museum marks the first collection in the series to include a non-arcade game (Pac-Attack, originally released on Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo and also previously included in the Japanese-only Namco Anthology Vol. 2, and Pac-Man Collection). The "Arrangement" games in the collection were originally on the arcade's Namco Classic Collection Vol. 1 & Vol. 2. The pitch of the audio in Pac-Man Arrangement...

For similar game, watch Jr. Pac-Man here: https://youtu.be/FAu5-Zt4nL4 A maze sequel to Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man, but this time, instead of dots, the maze consists of prizes which are locked away behind gates. There are two ways to acces the prizes. You can eat the keys which open a particular gate, and not always the gate which is closest to that key. Or you can crash through the gate after you eat a super pill and become Super Pac-Man. You are not required to eat all of the keys in order to complete the stage. Four power pills are in maze and allow Pac-Man to turn the tables on the ghosts and eat them for a short time. When the ghosts begin to flash, time is running out and they will switch back, so beware. New in this game is the super pill. There are two super pills in the maze which al...

Broken wings upon me,
Disappointed's tears
Perverse fortune wakes up
Magnitude of my exist
Waiting for sentence of the death
Suspended in huge vacuum
I still count of fast solution
Imprison pieces of soul
Only aim to destruction
Waiting for the death
I'm hiding in his arms
(Chorus)
Mighty lord take of the spell
Take of course that made me blind
Am I over death am I over life
He: Groggy of wasted fear / She: Me against my life,
I,m folding roses on my grave / Me against my heart
Retard remain of human wishes / Me against my love,
Climbing to prevent escape / Me against my blood.
He: Lord of darkness side / She: Lord of darkness side
I entrust to you my life! / Give me back my life!
She: I'm calling you, I'm waiting for your awakening, Rise! across the deadly threshold!
He: I hear your voice, I fell sweet numbness, your tears are falling down on my haunted soul...
(Chorus)
Mighty lord take of the spell
Take of course that made me blind
Am I over death am I over life?!
Mighty lord take of the spell
Take of course that made me blind
