Clear (magazine)

Clear is a fashion, art and luxury and design magazine founded in 2001 by Emin Kadi, also a contributing photographer.

Clear has offices in Royal Oak, Michigan and New York City, New York.

In December 2008, the magazine published its first tree-less, 100% recyclable issue, printed on YUPO synthetic papers, during Design Miami/Art Basel festival at the Miami Design District, where Clear is a media partner.

Clear is now 100% digital. In January 2011, it launched a 10-year anniversary application for the iPad, available globally on iTunes. This digital issue, "The Best of Clear Vol. 1" marks the 10-year anniversary of Clear. It is a compilation of the most impressive photos and features from Clear's previous years in print. This issue fills 250+ digital application pages with features such as 360 degree viewer, videos, tap-and-buy for clothing and accessories, pinch enlarge and slide shows.

In April 2011, Clear became the face of Adobe Systems Incorporated's CreativeSuite version 5.5, specifically the new Digital Publishing Suite.

Midnight (Elán song)

"Midnight" is the first single taken from the album Street Child by Mexican alternative rock singer Elan. It was released in Mexico on June 13, 2003. Elan fans brought 3 national servers down in Mexico with email requests for this song. This single reached #1 in airplay in most Mexican territories and stayed on top for ten weeks without changing its position. The single also reached #28 in Australia. There are 2 edits of the music video, one with black and white handycam footage interpoled of her, and the other one without those scenes added.

USA-212

USA-212 was the first flight of the Boeing X-37B Orbital Test Vehicle 1 (X-37B OTV-1), an American unmanned robotic vertical-takeoff, horizontal-landing (VTHL) spaceplane. It was launched aboard an Atlas V rocket from Cape Canaveral on 22 April 2010, and operated in low Earth orbit. Its designation is part of the USA series.

The spaceplane is operated by the United States Air Force, which has not revealed the specific identity of the spaceship's payload for the mission. The Air Force has stated only that the spacecraft would "demonstrate various experiments and allow satellite sensors, subsystems, components, and associated technology to be transported into space and back."

Launch

USA-212 was launched on an Atlas V 501 rocket, tail number AV-012, from Space Launch Complex 41 at the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. The launch, which was conducted by United Launch Alliance, occurred at 23:52 UTC on 22 April 2010, placing the spacecraft into low Earth orbit for testing.

The X-37B spacecraft was originally intended to be deployed from the payload bay of a NASA Space Shuttle, but following the Columbia accident, it was transferred to a Delta II 7920. It was subsequently transferred to the Atlas V following concerns over the X-37B's aerodynamic properties during launch.
