Hi everyone! A lot of folks have been asking me to post this song, so here you go ^_^/ This song is called, "First Day." I created it for my friends at Pixelberry Studios for their game High School Story. They are all fantastic writers and really nice people, and I think they're doing some great things (including partnering with Cybersmile.org to help victims of bullying). Bright Eyes' music video for their song "First Day Of My Life" off of their 2005 album I'm Wide Awake It's Morning.
A very simple but great video that goes hand in hand with the song. The song is probably one of the best by Bright Eyes, definitely a song with much more hope than a lot of others by the band. After listening to this song and seeing the video, it's hard not to have a good feeling inside you :)

Brian Molko (born 10 December 1972 in Brussels, Belgium) is a songwriter, lead vocalist, and guitarist of the band Placebo. He is known in particular for his nasal, high-pitched vocals, androgynous appearance, and unique, Sonic Youth-influenced guitar style and tuning.
He was born to an American father of French-Italian heritage and a Scottish mother. Molko's family moved frequently during his childhood including to Scotland, Liberia, Lebanon, and Luxembourg.[unreliable source?] Brian Molko has referred to a period spent in his mother's home town of Dundee, Scotland, as "where I grew up".
While Molko was brought up in a strict household that disapproved of artistic expression (his father wanted him to become a banker), he rebelled by affecting an androgynous image, wearing nail polish, lipstick, and eyeliner, and listening to punk music. Molko initially attended the European School of Luxembourg but had to leave due to excessive bullying; he later attended the American International School of Luxembourg (AISL) and went on to study drama at Goldsmiths College in London.

Bright Eyes' music video for their song "First Day Of My Life" off of their 2005 album I'm Wide Awake It's Morning. A very simple but great video that goes hand in hand with the song. The song is probably one of the best by Bright Eyes, definitely a song with much more hope than a lot of others by the band. Minecraft: Getting to the End Installment #1 This is the first installment of my "Getting to the End" series. The goal of the series is to defeat the two bosses in the game, the Ender Dragon and the Wither. From now until those battles I will strive to use the most effective means of farming, mining, and gathering resources. Once they are both defeated I'll go back and pick up some of the things we missed like building fancy structures and playing with Redstone circuits. In Belgium's Flanders Fields a team of archaeologists are conducting an historic dig. They are uncovering two World War One trenches -- one Allied, one German. This is where trench warfare began, flourished and died in just four short years. Soon, these historic trenches will be paved over by highways and housing developments. But before the bulldozers arrive, a team of archaeologists have just ten days to find and save the weapons, tools and bones.
Digging up the Trenches is a two-hour special that reveals each stage of trench warfare by focusing on the remarkable finds made by this unique excavation. As each rifle and artifact is unearthed, dramatic re-enactments show how these tools and weapons were used by soldiers 90 years ago. We see how men fired sniper rifles, reeled from artillery, and destroyed enemy machine gun nests. The result is a glimpse into how trenches helped define the progress of the entire war, starting as shallow rifle pits, and evolving to become vast underground fortresses housing thousands of men.
Among the astounding discoveries found by the dig are the bones of four soldiers, believed to have died in the war's first gas attack. The archaeologists also find scores of bullets, live shells, underground shelters, and the scars left by mining tunnels.
Historians and archaeologists at the dig are our guides. As each mud-coated artifact is cleaned off, historians like Peter Barton explain how it was used on this very spot 90 years ago. Archaeologists explain trench warfare tactics as they discover bones and rifles. Set in a fantasy world known as LazyTown, which is populated by inactive residents, we meet a visitor named Stephanie who is determined to coax her friends and relatives into adopting a healthful, active life style. She wins over her new friends, Ziggy, Stingy, Trixie and Pixel, convincing them to leave their gaming consoles and candy stashes at home so they can go outside and play. She persuades her uncle, Mayor Milford Meanswell, and his friend Ms. Busybody to support her efforts.
Robbie Rotten, who lives underground, and is determined to return Lazy Town to its former state of inactivity and quiet, constantly foils the characters' efforts.
Coming to the rescue is the athlete Sportacus who lives in a zeppelin-like aircraft and receives signals from the kids or the Mayor whenever they need help. Sportacus has two goals, to keep the peace and to promote healthful, positive living.
When Robbie Rotten is discovered and contained through comic pratfalls, he returns to his underground lair and all is well in Lazy Town, until another day and another time when Robbie will rise again.

Fortunately fo' Stephanie, LazyTown be also under tha watchful eye of Sportacus, a athletic, super-active, slightly-above-average hero, whoz ass runs, jumps, flips n' flies ta tha rescue up in his wild lil' AirShip. Sportacus always manages ta save tha dizzle n' ta help tha lil playaz of LazyTown foil Robbie's sickest lazy schemes.
Da other lil playaz of LazyTown is inquisitive, adventurous, playful, n' like Stephanie, just tryin ta figure up they own ghettos. Each of dem has strengths n' weaknesses dat all lil playas can identify with.

Minecraft: Getting to the End
Installment #1
This is the first installment of my "Getting to the End" series. The goal of the series is to defeat the two bosses in the game, the Ender Dragon and the Wither. From now until those battles I will strive to use the most effective means of farming, mining, and gathering resources. Once they are both defeated I'll go back and pick up some of the things we missed like building fancy structures and playing with Redstone circuits.
In this clip I generate a Survival world in the game Minecraft. It starts off with some wood collection, finding a snack, and gathering materials to start a farm. Of course you need a place to spend the night so I go on to locate some coal and dig in by starting my underground farm. Near the end there's a rather nasty surprise waiting as I go about my business.
Farming is relatively easy. You need something to plant, in this case I just hit a bunch of grass to produce wheat seeds. I'm also lucky enough that there were pumpkins very near the spawn point. By clearing some area underground and placing dirt and water I'm off to a great start already.
