Andrew Wegman Bird (born July 11, 1973) is an American musician, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist.
Trained in the Suzuki method from the age of four, Bird graduated from Lake Forest High School in 1991 and Northwestern University with a bachelor's degree in violin performance in 1996. That same year he self-released his first solo album, Music of Hair. Vastly different from his later work, this album showcased his violin skills and paid tribute to his fascination with both American and European folk traditions, as well as jazz and blues. Following this, his initial commercial exposure came through collaborative work with the band Squirrel Nut Zippers, appearing on three of their albums (Hot, Sold Out, and Perennial Favorites) between 1996 and 1998.
Taking on the role of bandleader, Bird released Thrills on Rykodisc in 1997 with his group Andrew Bird's Bowl of Fire, shortly followed by second album Oh! The Grandeur in 1998. Both albums were heavily influenced by traditional folk, pre-war jazz, and swing, with Bird relying on the violin as his primary musical instrument, as well as providing vocals along with his trademark verbose lyrics. The Bowl of Fire featured musicians from Bird's home town of Chicago, including Kevin O'Donnell, Joshua Hirsch, Nora O'Connor, Andy Hopkins, Jimmy Sutton, Colin Bunn, and Ryan Hembrey. During this period, Andrew Bird was a member of the jazz group Kevin O'Donnells Quality Six, for which he was the lead singer and violinist and contributed to arrangements and songwriting for the albums Heretic Blues (Delmark 1999) and Control Freak (Delmark 2000) (both Delmark albums were produced by Raymond Salvatore Harmon).
Fiona Apple McAfee Maggart (born September 13, 1977) is an American singer-songwriter and pianist. Apple met international acclaim for her 1996 debut album, Tidal, which was a critical and commercial success. At the age of nineteen she received a Grammy Award for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance for the single "Criminal" from that album in 1998.
After Tidal, Apple released the critically acclaimed, though less commercially successful albums, When the Pawn... (1999) and Extraordinary Machine (2005). A perceived shelving of Extraordinary Machine was met with vocal protests from her fans, who campaigned against her record label in 2005. Apple's musical style contains elements of jazz and alternative rock.
Born in New York City, Apple is the daughter of singer Diane McAfee and actor Brandon Maggart. Her older sister, Amber, sings cabaret under the stage name Maude Maggart. Her half brother Spencer is a director and directed the video for her single "Parting Gift." Her half brother Garett Maggart starred in the TV series The Sentinel. In addition, her maternal grandparents were Millicent Green, a dancer with the George White's Scandals, a series of 1920s musical revues similar to the Ziegfeld Follies, and Johnny McAfee, a multireedist and vocalist of the big band era; her grandparents met while touring with Johnny Hamp and his orchestra. Apple was raped at the age of twelve, a trauma she would later allude to in songs such as "Sullen Girl."

Plot: "LEFT AND LOOSE IN THE LOT" Written by Dawn Dais with Waynee Wayne and Demetrius Dedmon A Film by Dawn Dais "Left and Loose in THE LOT" is a funny urban comedy about two loser guys who work the night shift at a local parking lot, while secretly dreaming of becoming rap stars and ninjas for hire. There isn't much going on at night in a parking lot, so instead of actually working they spend most of their time getting high, watching CSI, playing board games and cruising around in their custom golf cart. Their lives, and their brains, are simple, and they don't have any problem with either of those facts whatsoever. All these carefree times come to a halt one night when the boys witness a murder taking place in the parking lot. Their quiet evening takes an action-packed turn when they have to escape the murderers, mistakenly take a hostage, go on a high-speed chase and end up having to dispose of the dead body. Along the way they have to deal with extremely hot female assassins, undercover cops, police shoot-outs, the best weed that has ever existed on this earth and Black Jesus. (The last two may have something to do with each other.) "Left and Loose in THE LOT" features two lovable, hilarious characters who keep the audience rooting for them, even when it's made repeatedly clear that these two buffoons are always going to mess everything up.
