The One Voice Children's Choir takes the stage next. Despite their name, the Utah-based choir group is actually one hundred voices strong, and their talent becomes clear when their performance begins. Afterward, the judges offer mixed reviews. Howard and Heidi loved the performance, but Mel B and Howie aren't sold on the act. I have serious doubt about Howie and Mel B when they turn down an act like this but acvance a jackass like Colombian rollerblade dancer Juan Carlos who performed earlier in this episode.

Chamber pop chorus of "Indigo" from Lithuania was created specifically for the TV project "Choir Wars" (Chorų karai) in early 2013. The initiator of the choir is Vytautas Matuzas - which is popular Lithuanian rapper, winner of various competitions and festivals. He is the so-called General of the "Indigo" choir, manager and one of the soloists. The main part of the musical work (arrangements, producing and choirmaster work) is done by the participants in the famous Lithuanian male a cappella ensemble "Quorum" - Vitalij Neugasimov, Marius Turlajus, Gintautas Skliutas, Romanas Savickas, and sound engineer, arranger and studio producer Marius Matulevičius. Choreographer of the choir - a talented dancer Paulius Šinkūnas, work stand, designer of haircuts and beautician Justina Gružauskaitė, Evelina Vlasovaitė, Sandra Jurgelionytė and Sandra Didžiokaitė.

In the team were gathered young and promising singers with a varied taste in music. From the first performance given the jury of the project and many of the audience recognized the "Indigo" as favorite show. At various times during the project being on the leading position, the choir of "Indigo" finished second out of seven choirs participating, second only to the choir of Kaunas (in the final of the commission did not have the right to vote, voted only viewers, and city Panevežys, who represented the "Indigo" had to give way to much bigger population of Kaunas.) However, many experts have recognized that the quality and variety of arrangements, in choral sound and vocal data soloists, choir of "Indigo" should rightly be called the true winner of the project. To date, the chorus of "Indigo" - one of the few teams that continue to work at the end of the "Choir Wars". We successfully performed in various cities of Lithuania, the choir are invited to participate in television programs. The team is preparing to release a CD recording new songs for the radio, in parallel preparing a new program for the recital.

A collective shock was felt when David Bowie passed this past Sunday, a couple days after his 69th birthday. We immediately teamed up with the Art Gallery of Ontario to pay tribute by singing our original arrangement of Space Oddity with 500+ singers. It all went down last night in Walker Court and here's how it sounded, looked, and felt. RIP Starman: to say we'll miss you doesn't even scratch the surface.

A choir, chorale or chorus is a musical ensemble of singers. Choral music, in turn, is the music written specifically for such an ensemble to perform.
A body of singers who perform together as a group is called a choir or chorus. The former term is very often applied to groups affiliated with a church (whether or not they actually occupy the choir) and the second to groups that perform in theatres or concert halls, but this distinction is far from rigid.
The term "Choir" has the secondary definition of a subset of an ensemble; thus one speaks of the "woodwind choir" of an orchestra, or different "choirs" of voices and/or instruments in a polychoral composition. In typical 18th- to 21st-century oratorios and masses, chorus or choir is usually understood to imply more than one singer per part, in contrast to the quartet of soloists also featured in these works.
Choirs are often led by a conductor or choirmaster. Most often choirs consist of four sections intended to sing in four part harmony, but there is no limit to the number of possible parts as long as there is a singer available to sing the part: Thomas Tallis wrote a 40-part motet entitled Spem in alium, for eight choirs of five parts each; Krzysztof Penderecki's Stabat Mater is for three choirs of 16 voices each, a total of 48 parts. Other than four, the most common number of parts are three, five, six and eight.

Justin Drew Bieber (

Bieber was discovered in 2008 by Scooter Braun, who came across Bieber's videos on YouTube and later became his manager. David Bowie ( /ˈboʊ.i/ BOH-ee; born David Robert Jones on 8 January 1947) is an English musician, actor, record producer and arranger. A major figure for over four decades in the world of popular music, Bowie is widely regarded as an innovator, particularly for his work in the 1970s. He is known for his distinctive voice and the intellectual depth and eclecticism of his work.
Bowie first caught the eye and ear of the public in July 1969, when his song "Space Oddity" reached the top five of the UK Singles Chart. After a three-year period of experimentation he re-emerged in 1972 during the glam rock era with the flamboyant, androgynous alter ego Ziggy Stardust, spearheaded by the hit single "Starman" and the album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars. Bowie's impact at that time, as described by biographer David Buckley, "challenged the core belief of the rock music of its day" and "created perhaps the biggest cult in popular culture." The relatively short-lived Ziggy persona proved merely one facet of a career marked by continual reinvention, musical innovation and striking visual presentation.

Valentine's Day kinda sucks so last night, in anticipation, we celebrated EPIC HEARTBREAKS with the one and only Sinéad O'Connor. Props to Prince for not taking this video down in 7 hours and 15 days. Recorded on February 10, 2016. We're Choir! Choir! Choir! from Toronto. We meet at Clinton's Tavern twice a week and everyone is welcome. Chamber pop chorus of "Indigo" from Lithuania was created specifically for the TV project "Choir Wars" (Chorų karai) in early 2013. The initiator of the choir is Vytautas Matuzas - which is popular Lithuanian rapper, winner of various competitions and festivals. He is the so-called General of the "Indigo" choir, manager and one of the soloists. The main part of the musical work (arrangements, producing and choirmaster work) is done by the participants in the famous Lithuanian male a cappella ensemble "Quorum" - Vitalij Neugasimov, Marius Turlajus, Gintautas Skliutas, Romanas Savickas, and sound engineer, arranger and studio producer Marius Matulevičius. Choreographer of the choir - a talented dancer Paulius Šinkūnas, work stand, designer of haircuts and beautician Justina Gružauskaitė, Evelina Vlasovaitė, Sandra Jurgelionytė and Sandra Didžiokaitė.

However, many experts have recognized that the quality and variety of arrangements, in choral sound and vocal data soloists, choir of "Indigo" should rightly be called the true winner of the project. To date, the chorus of "Indigo" - one of the few teams that continue to work at the end of the "Choir Wars". We successfully performed in various cities of Lithuania, the choir are invited to participate in television programs. The team is preparing to release a CD recording new songs for the radio, in parallel preparing a new program for the recital.

The story:
I went out of town for work and when I got back, my wife Julie told me, "You've got to hear this. She puts on the music and my little 4 year old Adanna struts and shimmies across the living room singing every single word of "Let it go" with feeling and reckless abandonment!! Along with every other kid in the country, She got "Frozenitis!
My mind immediately started racing and I thought "I HAVE TO AFRICANIZE THIS!!!
But it needed to have a unique twist. How cool would it be to actually have kids performing this? Seeing as they are the the biggest fans!
So I called up my friend Masa Fukuda who just happens to have a 140 strong choir of the most incredible singing kids and asked if he was willing to collab on my crazy idea of doing an africanized version of frozen. awhile back, I had heard a young girl named Lexi Walker sing at a local event, and WOW, she just blew me away! I knew she would be the perfect person to sing lead on this song!! Masa is a machine!!! By the next day, he had already rounded up some choir members, produced the music, and recorded the choir in his studio. All within 2 days!!!
The singing ability, discipline, and professionalism of the kids was just astounding to me!
The video shoot was amazing and even though it was SO cold you couldn't feel your toes, the kids were amazing and so patient!
So, everybody, please welcome the One voice children's choir!!!

We replaced the guitar and synth parts with different vocal effects; for the percussion we used our feet and vocal sounds. A lot of people come to the music of Volcano Choir - and see concerts like this one - because of the band's lead singer, Justin Vernon, an artist better-known for his work as Bon Iver. But Volcano Choir isn't a Bon Iver side project. It's a completely separate creative force, and the group's songs sound like no one else's.
On the night of this show, recorded live at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C., the members of Volcano Choir made magic, sometimes with layered effects in real time on both vocals and electronics, and sometimes with something as simple and beautiful as an acoustic guitar. And just when you think a song has found a groove or a peak, it would build a little more and morph into something new.
Volcano Choir has released two very different records. The first, Unmap, came out in 2009 and was an ethereal, mysterious collection of songs. The group's latest, Repave, is more song-based and sonically adventurous. Together, they made for a rich, transporting live experience. --BOB BOILEN
