He had just humiliated the US, heading up Wikileaks, the most controversial cyber operation in history. So when Julian Assange arrived in Sweden in August 2010 he was greeted like a conquering hero. But within weeks there was a warrant out for his arrest and he was being investigated for sexual crimes. An investigative exploration of this salacious and strange case, the film gets to the heart of a bizarre tale of international cat and mouse.
"Sitting outdoors with the world's coolest, smartest people! It's amazing!", Anna Ardin tweeted, as she sat at a barbecue she had arranged for Assange. Yet according to the allegations she would later bring against him he had recently sexually abused her. "You wouldn't send such messages if you had been raped by someone the night before", argues Assange's lawyer. Both Assange and his supporters believe the attempt to force his return to Sweden is simply the first step in a plan to see him extradited to the United States and that the case against him is a set up.
It's clear that when Assange arrived in Sweden Anna Ardin & Sofia Wilen were both enthralled by the Wikileaks phenomena and he slept with both women over a period of weeks. The charges originated with a misunderstanding in a Stockholm police station that "some sort of sex crime had been committed". Wilen refused to sign what had been taken down. Assange was interviewed but not charged with any offence. But 12 days after being given permission to leave the country, the case was re-opened and the Swedes issued a warrant for his arrest.
At this point Assange was at the height of his powers and three weeks later he delivered a massive hit against America: the Iraq War Logs. An outraged US labelled him a "traitor" and were overcome with calls to "shoot the son-of-a-bitch". Shortly afterwards Sweden issued an Interpol Red Notice for his arrest; a highly unusual move. "Red Notices are normally the preserve of terrorists and dictators. Even Gaddafi was not subject to a Red Notice."
After 500 days of fighting extradition from the UK to Sweden, Assange made his dramatic dash to the Ecuadorian embassy. In an interview from inside, Assange claims he had sensed the net tightening around him when, "the Swedish government publicly announced that it would detain me without charge in severe conditions. On the same evening security contractors turned up unannounced at 10:30pm and insisted on fitting another manacle to my leg".
Following the complex twists and turns of the entire saga, this documentary charts a case far more complex than the Swedes seem to be admitting to. When pressed about the strange manner in which the charges were brought the answer is baffling: "I can very well understand the confusion...it is very difficult to understand, well, exactly how it works." And as Assange's US lawyer points out, he should be worried. "I'd be very nervous, because if the United States get their hands on you, you're a goner."

http://democracynow.org - The BBC reports the United Nations panel investigating the case of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has ruled he has been "arbitrarily detained.” The U.N. says it will not confirm the report until Friday at 11 a.m. Geneva time. Assange first complained to the U.N. in 2014 that he was being arbitrarily detained since he could not leave the Ecuadorean Embassy in London without being arrested. Assange took refuge in the embassy in 2012. Assange wants to avoid extradition to Sweden over sex assault claims, which he has repeatedly denied. He says he fears Sweden will extradite him to the United States, where he could face trial for publishing classified information. Police say a warrant for Assange’s arrest remains in place. Assange has called for his arrest warrant to be dropped if the panel ruled in his favor. The BBC reports the panel’s ruling will not have any formal influence over the British and Swedish authorities. We go to London to speak with one of Assange’s lawyers, Jennifer Robinson, who says, "We hope and expect that the U.K. and Sweden will act accordingly."

http://democracynow.org - A United Nations panel has officially concluded WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has been "arbitrarily detained" and should be allowed to walk free. Assange has been holed up in the Ecuadorean Embassy in London for more than three years. He wants to avoid extradition to Sweden over sex crimes allegations, which he has repeatedly denied and for which he has never been charged. He fears Sweden would extradite him to the United States, where he could face trial for WikiLeaks’ revelations. We air reaction to the U.N. decision from Assange and his attorney, Melinda Taylor, and speak with Mads Andenæs, U.N. special rapporteur on arbitrary detention.

Julian Assange is an Australian computer programmer, published and journalist. In 2006, he co-founded Wikileaks and remains its Editor-in-Chief today.
Assange first achieved prominence when he published secret US military and diplomatic documents leaked by Chelsea Manning. Since this point, Wikileaks has continued to publish sensitive and secret documents obtained from various Governments around the world.
Under investigation by Swedish authorities on two counts of sexual molestation and one count of unlawful cocercion, Assange took up residence in the Ecuadorian Embassy in 2012 where he remains to this day. He remains wanted for questioning over one count of "lesser-degree rape" following the expiration of the statue of limitations on other charges against him.

Founded by Assange in 2006, WikiLeaks came to international prominence in 2010 with the release of more than 250,000 top-secret cables leaked from the US State Department. The results of this were far-reaching indeed, exposing human rights violations and covert operations. WikiLeaks and Assange have never been far from the spotlight in the intervening years, hitting the headlines again and again, especially with regards to Edward Snowden’s mass surveillance disclosures and Assange’s ongoing legal battles.
To coincide with the release of a definitive new book on the State Department cables, The WikiLeaks Files: The World According to US Empire, Assange will discuss the historical significance of that release and what the cables reveal about the United States as a 21st century superpower. Join Julian Assange, host Andrew Fowler and the Wheeler Centre for a riveting discussion on secrets, surveillance, imperialism and justice.

Philosopher Slavoj Žižek and former Greek finance minister, Yanis Varoufakis and Wikileaks founder Julian Assange discuss Europe’s future. With the recent economic crisis in Greece, unprecedented challenges to centralised European policy, and the lack of consensus on the ongoing refugee crisis, many would agree that Europe faces its greatest ever predicament. Slavoj Žižek, regarded as ‘the most dangerous philosopher in the West’ (The New Republic), and Yanis Varoufakis, self-described ‘erratic Marxist’ and economic ‘rock-star’ (Business Insider and other publications), met in Croatia in 2013. They have never appeared together on the public stage – until now. Take your seat to hear them discuss the urgent task of building a different and more democratic Europe. The conversation explores the contradictions of late capitalism and some of the solutions that might just save the European project. It is moderated by Croatian philosopher Srecko Horvat.

Afshin Rattansi goes underground on when WikiLeaks met Google. Julian Assange discusses the meeting he had in 2011 with Eric Schmidt, then a top executive and now chairman of Google, and 3 others. He says the meeting was nominally over a book that was being written, which was published and had pre-publication endorsements from the likes of Tony Blair and Henry Kissinger, but the question he wanted to know was why was this book being written? He examines the networks behind Google, and their 'in-house state department' Google ideas, and reveals that they are pushing the position that the State should control what is and is not published, to the extent of a state body overseeing whistleblowers that they have to go through before they can release any material. He says that Google is in bed with the state department, citing as an example that the girlfriend of Eric Schmidt contacted him regarding arranging a meeting with Hilary Clinton. He also points out that the argument the US military use against WikiLeaks, that the publication of cables could theoretically cause harm, was undermined when the general charged with investigating any harm caused by WikiLeaks testified under oath at the trial of Chelsea Manning that they couldn't find a single person that had been harmed. He also talks about the mistakes he believe the Guardian made, and how HBGary tendered $2 million a month to attack WikiLeaks and Glen Greenwald. He talks about some of the more recent publications he has made, such as FinFisher, a cyberweapon which can hijack mobile phones and turn on the microphone, and can infect massive amounts of computers by putting itself in the major gateway of a country or ISP. He warns whilst people may be suspicious of the intentions of the NSA and the like regarding the internet, associations you may perceive to be working the other way are funded by the same players. He also points out that the amount of people with security clearances in the US has more than doubled since 2010, with 6 million people now part of this 'state within a state' who are subject to extra laws and requirements that are classified – 'an extremely alarming phenomenon'.

Afshin Rattansi goes underground on the case of the WikiLeaks’ founder- Julian Assange with his lawyer Melinda Taylor. After the UN's highest human rights body's verdict on Britain is rejected by the UK government, will we ever be able to accuse another country of violating international law again? And, is the UN Parliament’s decision to free him from the detention legally binding?

http://democracynow.org - Five years ago this week, U.S. Army whistleblower Chelsea Manning was arrested in Kuwait and charged with leaking classified information. Weeks later, WikiLeaks published tens of thousands of internal logs from the war in Afghanistan. It was one of the largest leaks in U.S. military history. Major articles ran in The New York Times, Guardian, Der Spiegel and other outlets. Chelsea Manning, then known as Bradley, and Julian Assange soon became household names. While Manning was sentenced to 35 years in jail, Assange has been living for the past three years inside the Ecuadorean Embassy in London, where he has political asylum. Assange faces investigations in both Sweden and the United States. Here in the United States, a secret grand jury is investigating WikiLeaks for its role in publishing leaked Afghan and Iraq war logs and State Department cables. In Sweden, Assange is wanted for questioning on allegations of sexual misconduct, though no charges have been filed. "Look at Thomas Drake, for example, NSA whistleblower ... The pretrial process was both the deterrent, the general deterrent, and it was the penalty," Assange said. "And the same thing is happening here in the WikiLeaks process, where we have no rights as a defendant because the formal trial hasn’t started yet. The same thing has happened with me here in this embassy in relation to the Swedish case: no charges, no trial, no ability to defend yourself, don’t even have a right to documents, because you’re not even a defendant."

This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. "We now know, thanks to Edward Snowden- that all of us, Greek citizens, Brits, Americans are being spied and that all of our data - whether its text messages, selfies, G-allocation data from our iphones that we carry around with us - is being collected. Luke thinks that Snowden has done the world a great service by revealing this and thinks it’s got profound implications for democracy – and for all of us – for anyone who uses Facebook or Google or downloads videos from Youtube and so on.
So that’s the big picture. On a micro level what we can do about this as citizens?"
Luke Harding is a journalist, writer and award-winning correspondent with the Guardian. He has reported from Delhi, Berlin and Moscow and covered wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and Ukraine. Between 2007 and 2011 he was the Guardian's Moscow bureau chief. The Kremlin expelled him from the country in the first case of its kind since the Cold War.
His latest book "The Snowden Files: The Inside Story of the World's Most Wanted Man" was published in February by Guardian Faber. In June Oliver Stone bought film rights. Luke is the author of three previous non-fiction books. They are "The Liar: The Fall of Jonathan Aitken" (1997), nominated for the Orwell Prize; and "WikiLeaks: Inside Julian Assange's War on Secrecy" (2011), both written with David Leigh. The screen rights to Wikileaks were sold to Hollywood and the film, "The Fifth Estate", starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Daniel Bruhl, came out in 2013. "Mafia State: How One Reporter Became an Enemy of the Brutal New Russia" appeared in 2011. His books have been translated into 20 languages.

The interview includes graphic footage of a recent US airstrike in Baghdad.
He calls himself "editor in chief." He travels the globe as its spokesperson. Yet Assange's part in WikiLeaks is clearly dicier than that: he's become the face of creature that, simply, many powerful organizations would rather see the world rid of. His Wikipedia entry says he is "constantly on the move," and some speculate that his role in publishing decrypted US military video has put him in personal danger. A controversial figure, pundits debate whether his work is reckless and does more harm than good. Amnesty International recognized him with an International Media Award in 2009.

Breaking News:
In this interview, Assange also comments the shocking video collateral murder, which shows US soldiers killing innocent civilians in Afghanistan.
Can such a leak be harmful for other US soldiers, who do their job bravely and in moral ways?
Assange argues that hat would be most harmful is censorship and repression of freedom of speech.
This video includes some of Julian Assange best quotes:
"Good journalism is controversial by nature"
"What does censorship reveal? It reveals fear"
" There's enormous pressures to harmonize freedom of speech legislation and transparency legistation around the world -within the EU, between China and the United States. Which way is it gonna go? It's hard to see. That's why it's an interesting time to be in because with a just little bit of effort we can shift it one way or the other."
"(About His Personal Core Values) Capable generous men do not create victims, they nurture victims. That's something from my father and something from other capable, generous men that have been in my life...and I'm a combative person so I'm not actually so big on the nurture (laughs). But there is another way of nurturing victims which is to police perpetrators of crime."
"Which country is suffering from too much freedom of speech? Name it, is there one?"
"The aim of Wikileaks is to achieve just reform around the world and do it through the mechanism of transparency."
"Our particular view on the mechanism of transparency is to selectively go after material that is concealed. Because organizations that have material and want to conceal it are giving off a signal that they believe there will be reform if that material is released."

What do Congress Women Gabrielle Gifford, Julian Assange and Micheal Vick all have in common. The media and politics whipping the nation into a fear based frenzy calling for peoples execution, and assassinations with no emotional out let for them to defuse their fears and frustrations. All people hear about is how the police, state and government are closing in on them and taking away their rights, and how corrupt the banks are as they illegally strip away their homes and their jobs. Then everyone acts surprised when someone loses it and starts gunning people down in the streets.
Then theres Ted Williams the man with the golden voice and all that has happened to him in the past few days, A story sparked by the press and turned into an avalanche by the people on the internet.
The truth is seldom does the media talk about the possibilities in this country any more and those possibilities still exist and it is high time we as American citizens started to, to give each other some relief.
The Ted Williams story is all the proof that we need to realize that it's time to turn off the media and join together to rebuild our futures from the ground up. It may not be easy but it can do it. Power to the people because the people are the power.

Benny Wenda is the face of self-determination and human rights in West Papua. This is the story of him and his people as told by his lawyer and friend, Jennifer Robinson.
Jennifer Robinson is a human rights lawyer and Director of Legal Advocacy at Bertha Philanthropies in London, where she is creating a global program to inspire and support young lawyers into public interest law. She is also an adjunct lecturer in law at the University of Sydney. Jennifer has acted in key free speech and freedom of information cases for clients such as the New York Times and Bloomberg. She is a member of the legal team for WikiLeaks and Julian Assange, having acted for Assange in extradition proceedings, advised WikiLeaks during Cablegate and worked with the Center for Constitutional Rights on United States v Bradley Manning. For more than a decade she has been involved in advocacy related to self-determination and human rights in West Papua. In 2008 the UK Attorney General recognised
Jennifer as a National Pro Bono Hero. Jennifer was educated at the Australian National University and the University of Oxford where she was a Rhodes scholar. She writes for publications such as the Sydney Morning Herald and Al Jazeera.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

As the founder and public face of WikiLeaks, a website that posts secret documents and information in the public domain, Julian Assange (pronounced Ah-Sanj) believes that total transparency is for the good of all people. But Assange — who reportedly lives an itinerant existence, traveling the world with a backpack and computer — is himself a shadowy figure. Little is known about his life: he has refused to confirm his age in interviews or give a fixed address. But on July 26, the mathematically-trained Australian changed the media landscape — and possibly the course of history — by releasing about 90,000 classified U.S. military records from the war in Afghanistan.
The website went on to get several prominent scoops, including the release in April 2010 of a secret video taken in 2007 of a U.S. helicopter attack in Iraq that killed a dozen civilians, including two unarmed Reuters journalists. Assange helped post the video from a safe house in Iceland that he and the other WikiLeaks administrators called "the bunker."

Requiem: we will die without Truth
"We often say: "The truth will set you free." Julian is a hero for doing just that. It's amazing that the country whose motto is always "to spread democracy" when they willfully attack other countries without reason (read: Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam, etc.) would now be on the warpath trying to suppress Mr. Assange on his exposing of the truth.
It is equally puzzling to point out that when a "leak" comes out directly from the powers within the White House (which was so hypocritical for those in the US admin), that it was okay to leak something detrimental to US national security to gain political points. I'm talking about the leak exposing Valerie Plame as a CIA agent because her ambassador husband Mr. Wilson crossed the policies of the White House admin. Not one (even reporter Mr. Novak)gets punished when the leak involved the powers connected to the White House. Now they're crying foul when Julian leaked out documents which were actually historical truths of their shenanigans."

The controversial website WikiLeaks collects and posts highly classified documents and video. Founder Julian Assange, who's reportedly being sought for questioning by US authorities, talks to TED's Chris Anderson about how the site operates, what it has accomplished -- and what drives him.
Internet activist Julian Assange serves as spokesperson for WikiLeaks, a controversial, volunteer-driven website that publishes and comments on leaked documents alleging government and corporate misconduct.
Whistleblower
Why you should listen to him:
You could say Australian-born Julian Assange has swapped his long-time interest in network security flaws for the far-more-suspect flaws of even bigger targets: governments and corporations. Since his early 20s, he has been using network technology to prod and probe the vulnerable edges of administrative systems, but though he was a computing hobbyist first (in 1991 he was the target of hacking charges after he accessed the computers of an Australian telecom), he's now taken off his "white hat" and launched a career as one of the world's most visible human-rights activists.
Assange studied physics and mathematics at the University of Melbourne. He wrote Strobe, the first free and open-source port scanner, and contributed to the book Underground: Tales of Hacking, Madness and Obsession on the Electronic Frontier.

He agreed to speak to Newsnight's Nick Hopkins on that - and that alone. Nick began by asking him why the book is important.

He moved over 50 times as a child
This translates into 37 different schools
At 16 he began hacking under the name Mendax, meaning nobly truthful
He's been threatened by the Church of Scientology, the President of Kenya, Russian off-shore stem-cell centers, the Pentagon, and nearly everyone else
According to him, he's not inspired by anarchy, but rather anti-stalinism
He started a bachelor of science degree at Central Queensland University focusing on math
He averaged a D and dropped out to focus on WikiLeaks
He's a terrible houseguest known for being paranoid, having poor hygiene, and forgetting to flush
Apparently he's good with kids though
He was confined at the Ecuadorian embassy in London for 1 year.
For the first two months consul Fidel Narvaez slept there to protect Assange from police hostilities
On his 41st birthday he sent cake to all the demonstrators protesting his confinment outside the embassy walls
He's been thrown out of people's houses due to fear that the CIA would come knocking
In an effort to raise money for WikiLeaks, Assange has entertained some famous people while at the embassy
For most of his life he had no home but spends much time in Sweden
He is known to communicate with friends via encrypted cell phones.
He only uses cash and often travels under false names
He says he practices "Scientific Journalism". Just as scientists provide raw data with their analysis, he provides sources for people to make their own decisions
Some higher ups are calling for Wikileaks to be labeled a terrorist organization
As a teenager he cowrote Underground: Tales of Hacking
In 1991 he hacked into the computer system of Canadian company Nortel
He got married when he was 18 and has a son
He is now separated and after a long court battle reached a custody agreement with his wife.
He has been accused of molestation by two Swedish women and is now on Interpol's most wanted list.
A movie about Wikileaks is being released soon called The Fifth Estate and apparently Julian is not a fan

Assange has been living in the embassy for more than two years under political asylum. He faces investigations in both Sweden and the United States, where a secret grand jury is investigating WikiLeaks for its role in publishing a trove of leaked documents about the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, as well as State Department cables. Assange responds to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's recent comments that National Security Agency whistleblower Edward Snowden should return home to face trial. "It's the advice of all our lawyers that he should not return to the United States. He'd be extremely foolish to do so," Assange says. "It's not possible to have a fair trial, because the U.S. government has a precedent of applying state secret privilege to prevent the defense from using material that is classified in their favor."

Whatever happened to Julian Assange? Yes, he's still at the Ecuadorean Embassy in London. He's been there for three years now. One of the ways he's been spending his time is commissioning a series of essays, which have been put together as a book, The Wikileaks Files. He agreed to speak to Newsnight's Nick Hopkins on that - and that alone. Nick began by asking him why the book is important.

Julian Assange and Edward Snowden are two of the best known whistleblowers on the planet, they have shown all of us that from our emails to Facebook and YouTube accounts, nothing is safe from the 'spooks.'
For this they live in exile. Not the world I envisioned back in the 60's and 70's for us.

In his most revealing and explosive interview to date, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has revealed to TIMES NOW's Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami that he is being offered a swap deal if he hands over the exclusive details of Swiss banks and their secret account holders list. In his first ever disclosure he explained the delay in the publication of the Swiss bank secrets, when asked how long the people of India would have to wait for the critical and sensitive information to come out.
The Swiss bank has a hostage, Assange said, going on to say that WikiLeaks has an offer, that was indirect and through a third party that if it returns the data, then whistleblower Judith Elmer would be set free. The publication of the Swiss bank secrets is being eagerly awaited, not just in India, but across the world and many believe that it can be the biggest single expose in the fight against corruption globally.
Arnab Goswami: On the 17th of January 2011, you had this press conference in which Elmer gave you two discs of data in front of reporters and he said about the system that the Swiss system runs exactly what you are saying ... it damages society. And since then Mr. Assange, people across India have been waiting to know when this information will come out. It has the potential of correcting one of the greatest ills of our system.
Julian Assange: Well, let me tell you what has happened in relation to that. Normally, we only deal with anonymous sources. Mr. Elmer and his legal team for reasons of their own, which I do not understand, decided to have a public press conference. He then returned to Switzerland and was immediately imprisoned. While an investigation is taking place he is still in prison at this moment.
He has not as far as I am aware been charged with anything. He is still simply in prison during the period of investigation. And we have had an indirect offer through a third party that if we return what they believe to be the data then they will work to acquit Mr. Elmer to be free. So my ability to talk about this subject is of course limited by the fact that the Swiss bank has a hostage.
In a 50 minute interview to TIMES NOW, Assange also said that there are Indian names in the Swiss bank data list. "I have read Indian names he said, in the data we have already published or are about to publish, a comment that will generate even greater interest amidst speculation that it includes the names of politicians and hawala operators from India," he said

This week, Julian Assange talks to the President of Ecuador, Rafael Correa. Correa is a left wing populist who has changed the face of Ecuador. But unlike his predecessors he holds a Ph.D. in economics. According to US embassy cables, Correa is the most popular President in Ecuador's democratic history. But in 2010 he was taken hostage in an attempted coup d'etat. He blames the coup attempt on corrupt media and has launched a controversial counter-offensive. Correa says the media defines what reforms are possible. Assange tries to figure out is Ecuadorian president justified and what is his vision for Latin America.

Cenk Uygur (host of The Young Turks) interviewed WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange on MSNBC's Dylan Ratigan show. They discussed critics of Assange, the treatment of Private Bradley Manning and more.
Portion of Transcript:
CENK: Well Julian I want to get to as much as possible here so I want to give you a chance to respond one by one to your critics, first to Mitch McConnell who is of course the leader of the Republicans in the Senate and to Joe Biden who both said that called you a high tech terrorist how do you respond to Joe Biden the Vice President of the United States saying that to you?
JULIAN: Well let's look at the definition of terrorism, the definition of terrorism is a group that uses violence or the threat of violence for political ends now no one in our four year publishing covering over 120 countries has ever been physically harmed as a result of what we've done. Now that's not just us saying that, that's the Pentagon saying that, that's NATO and Kabal saying that. No one, not a shred of evidence. Now believe me if they could find or even easily manufacture a shred of evidence they would be doing that immediately so it's clear that whoever the terrorists are here it's not us. But we see constant threats from people, Republicans in the Senate trying to make a name for themselves, to people like Sarah Palin to Shock Jocks on Fox and unfortunately some members also of the Democratic party calling for my assassination calling for the illegal kidnapping of my staff and just a few days ago on Fox that was the phrase that was used "illegal, he should be illegally murdered if necessary, assassinated by the law if possible if not illegally" what start of message does that send about the rule of law in the United States? That is conducting violence in order to achieve a political end the elimination of this organization or the threat of violence to achieve a political end the elimination of a publisher and that is the definition of terrorism.
CENK: Now I want to give you a chance to respond personally though because here Mike Huckabee is making it very personal you saw that quote we had up, he says "I think anything less than execution is too kind a penalty for you" Sarah Palin saying that you are like Al-Qaeda and the Taliban and that you should be pursued with the same urgency so how would you respond to Mike Huckabee who is a top Republican leader, likely to run for President again. How would you respond to Sarah Palin, top Republican leader who might run for President again?
JULIAN: Oh it's just another idiot trying to make a name for himself, but it's a serious business I mean if we are to have a civil society we cannot have senior people making calls on national TV to go around the Judiciary and illegally murder people that is incitement to commit murder that is an offense you cannot have senior people on national TV asking people to commit an offense. That is not a country that obeys the rule of law. Does the United States obey the rule of law, because Europeans are starting to wonder whether it is still obeying the rule of law and it needs to be very careful is it going to descend into an anarchy where we don't have due process where those great Bill of Rights traditions about due processes thrown to the wind whenever some shock jock politician just thinks that they can use it to make a name for themselves? Or do we take things according to laws expressly made by the people and their representatives that is the way things should be done and when people call for illegal deliberate assassination and kidnapping of others they should be held to account they should be charged for incitement to commit murder.
