Donald Trump
Donald John Trump, Sr. (born June 14, 1946) is an American businessperson and media personality. He is the chairman and president of The Trump Organization and the founder of Trump Entertainment Resorts. Trump's career, branding efforts, personal life, wealth, and outspoken manner have made him famous throughout the country. Since 2015, he is also a candidate for the Republican nomination for President of the United States in the 2016 election.
Trump is a native of New York City and a son of Fred Trump, who inspired him to enter real estate development. After two years at Fordham University and while studying at Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Trump worked for his father's firm, Elizabeth Trump & Son. Upon graduating in 1968 he joined the company, and in 1971 was given control, renaming the company "The Trump Organization". Since then he has built hotels, golf courses, and other properties, many of which bear his name. He is a major figure in the American business scene and has received prominent media exposure. The NBC reality show The Apprentice bolstered his fame, and his three marriages were extensively reported in tabloids.

The 2016 presidential campaign of Donald John Trump, real estate magnate and television personality, formally launched on June 16, 2015.Donald Trump announced his candidacy for President of the United States in the 2016 election at the Trump Tower in New York City with the slogan "Make America Great Again." His campaign manager is Corey Lewandowski.
Trump's populist and nativist politics brought him tremendous support among working-class voters, including voters without college educations, amid heavy and frequent controversies in the news media. His proposed policies and his statements about the state of the country have propelled him to be the consistent Republican front-runner in public opinion polls. A number of his remarks have been considered controversial by many political figures and notably many mainstream media outlets, whose constant reporting of the events has arguably aided Trump's rise in the polls. Persistent media coverage partnered with his ability to effectively self-finance his entire campaign has efficiently allowed him to eschew the super PAC model, which he regularly criticizes along with politicians who use the model for their own campaign fundraising. His abstention from political correctness has been a staple theme of his campaign, and proved to be popular among his supporters. Trump's most polarizing and widely reported statements have been on issues of immigration and border security, with Trump proposing deportation of all illegal immigrants, a substantial wall on the Mexican-American border, and a temporary ban on alien Muslims entering the U.S., while speaking extensively about perceived issues pertaining to illegal immigrants travelling over the Mexican border into the U.S.

"Donald Trump" is the third official single from American rapper Mac Miller, and the only song released as an official single from his mixtape Best Day Ever. The melody, which is played throughout the song, is taken from "Vesuvius" by Sufjan Stevens. The music video to the song was uploaded to YouTube on March 3, 2011, while the single was released digitally on May 17, 2011. "Donald Trump" is also incorrectly included as a bonus track on the tracklist of some versions of Mac Miller's debut album Blue Slide Park. Miller himself confirmed that the song does not feature on the album. The song was dedicated to the American business magnate Donald Trump.

The money-inspired hip-hop song refers to business magnate Donald Trump, particularly Mac Miller's ambitions to become wealthy and successful like him ("Take over the world when I'm on my Donald Trump shit/Look at all this money, ain't that some shit?"). In August 2011, shortly after the music video to the song reached 20 million views on YouTube, Donald Trump himself praised the song and branded the young Pittsburgh rapper as "the next Eminem". Mac Miller responded appreciatively, but played down any comparisons between himself and Eminem.

Trump has said no American “would be needed” to carry out his proposal for the United States to take over the Gaza Strip and redevelop it into the “Riviera of the Middle East”.
Following his proposal earlier this week that the two million Palestinians living there should be resettled and the territory transformed, Trump took to social media on Thursday to defend his idea, which he insists “everybody loves”.
“The Gaza Strip would be turned over to the United States by Israel at the conclusion of fighting,” Trump wrote in a post on his Truth Social platform.
“The Palestinians … would have already been resettled in far safer and more beautiful communities, with new and modern homes, in the region. They would actually have a chance to be happy, safe and free,” he added, claiming it would “become one of the greatest and most spectacular developments of its kind on Earth”.
