The Walking Dead recap show is back on Collider Video with hosts John Rocha, Kaori Takee, Quinn Marie and Josh Macuga. They are here talking about episode 11 of season 6, “Knots Unite”. The recap panel talks about the most popular show on TV every Sunday, and making you believe in the new world that lives within the rules of the New Rick Order inside a new Alexandria. The episodes starts with that moment when you get caught hooking up at that high school party by everyone, but nobody cares because the new kid in town just brought beer. “Your world just got a whole lot bigger.” The world being a whole lot bigger seems to almost be a trap as the group encounters a fresh accident full of walkers and an office building full of people associated with Jesus’ crew. Jesus is the newest member of the team and everyone he runs with are the kind of people that the world needs, but can we trust them. What this world has left us with is never knowing if a smile means trust or a knife to the throat and brain. Jesus, the newest trusted member in the group, takes him to his community that seems good enough, which is an English colony you used to see on a school field trip headed by a weird guy in a beard. It smells a lot like The Governor 2.0, but we have yet to see anything like it, except that he is a close talker. The Hilltop colony is the name of the new place that Jesus has led Rick and crew to investigate. There is something obviously fishy, wrong, creepy, but also weirdly utopian… and also Jesus looks a lot like a member of Hanson, yes Mmm Bop style Hanson. Just when you thought the colony was seemingly on the right path… in comes the group paying their respects to Negan and then BLOOD EVERYWHERE. Oh and Rick’s beard gets covered in blood AGAIN. However, amongst all the blood we realize that Negan is the mafia of this new world for which we are currently living. Rick, Daryl and Michonne gladly trade the idea to kill Negan and his company for the future of this world that includes both colonies. On his death bed, Gregory, the leader of Jesus’ colony, brings Maggie in to negotiate what should be the future between Rick and their new friends. It turns out that Maggie is in fact Margaret Thatcher. And now begins the journey to end the reign of Negan… how does this happen? The redemption starts NOW.
