Tai Hang (Chinese: 大坑; literally: "The Big Water Channel") is an area southeast of Causeway Bay located in the mid-north of Hong Kong Island in Hong Kong. The area was originally a slum, until its redevelopment after the 1990s.
Tai Hang is a valley with opening to the reclaimed Causeway Bay in north and So Kon Po in west. Its south and east are hills. The former coast is marked by Tung Lo Wan Road and the main road Tai Hang Road winds in the hills throughout the area.
The area of Tai Hang is divided into hilly south and plain north. The hilly area includes a public housing estate Lai Tak Tsuen and some highrise residential blocks for affluents, such as Illumination Terrace (光明臺)(5-7 Tai Hang Road) or Grand Deco Tower (帝后臺)(26 Tai Hang Road). The plain south has many old residential blocks, with a number of interesting restaurants along the streets. Its named after a stream (or drainage) from nearby hills.
One interesting recent development in the plain north is that many new and special restaurants were opened, making Tai Hang a hot spot for dining and leisure.
Hong Kong (香港; "Fragrant Harbour"), officially Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, is an autonomous territory on the southern coast of China at the Pearl River Estuary and the South China Sea. Hong Kong is known for its skyline and deep natural harbour. It has a land area of 1104 km2 and shares its northern border with Guangdong Province of Mainland China. With around 7.2 million inhabitants of various nationalities, Hong Kong is one of the world's most densely populated metropolises.
After the First Opium War (1839–42), Hong Kong became a British colony with the perpetual cession of Hong Kong Island, followed by Kowloon Peninsula in 1860 and a 99-year lease of the New Territories from 1898. Hong Kong remained under British control for about a century until the Second World War, when Japan occupied the colony from December 1941 to August 1945. After the Surrender of Japan, the British resumed control. In the 1980s, negotiations between the United Kingdom and the China resulted in the 1984 Sino-British Joint Declaration, which provided for the transfer of sovereignty of Hong Kong on 30 June 1997. The territory became a special administrative region of China with a high degree of autonomy on 1 July 1997 under the principle of one country, two systems. Disputes over the perceived misapplication of this principle have contributed to popular protests, including the 2014 Umbrella Revolution.
The Taihang Mountains (Chinese: 太行山; pinyin: Tàiháng Shān) are a Chinese mountain range running down the eastern edge of the Loess Plateau in Shanxi, Henan and Hebei provinces. The range extends over 400 kilometres (250 mi) from north to south and has an average elevation of 1,500 to 2,000 metres (4,900 to 6,600 ft). The principal peak is Xiao Wutaishan (2,882 metres (9,455 ft)). Cangyan Shan in Hebei forms the eastern tip of the Taihang range.
The name of Shanxi Province, meaning "west of the mountains", derives from its location west of the Taihang Mountains, as does the name of Shandong Province (east of the mountains).
The Red Flag Canal is located on the edge of the Taihang Mountains.
The Shitai Passenger Railway crosses under the Taihang Mountains via the Taihang Tunnel, which, at almost 28 kilometres (17 mi), is the longest railway tunnel in China.

Situated between the Causeway Bay and Tin Hau rail stations, Tai Hang has continued its rebirth since the 1990s. Now gentrified and amid constant redevelopment, we particularly love the mix between the old and new that remains in this cultural neighborhood. Amid new restaurants and trendsetting leisure spots that have become popular with the well off crowds, the old charm remains in tact. Learn more at: https://black-buddha.com/watch/tai-hang/

The Margaret River region runs down the Western Australian coastline for over 80 miles, and stretches inland for a further 20. Busselton marks the beginning of one of Australia’s most scenic drives, Caves Road, which gets its name from the incredible limestone caves which honeycomb the region. Caves Road winds inland, through picturesque villages and historic timber towns, before arriving at the region’s main settlement, Margaret River. Surrounded by coasts on three sides, and enjoying virtually rain-free summers, as a wine-growing region, Margaret River has been compared to France’s famous Bordeaux region. Cruise from cellar door to cellar door, sampling some of the most exciting Chardonnays, Shirazs and Cabernet Sauvignons on the planet. At Margaret River’s northern end is Cape Natur...

Travel video about destination Hongkong in China. Hong Kong is a city of the superlative with glimmering skyscrapers that seem to take root in the sky and one elegant building after another with shining glass and hi-tech facades. Around 150 years ago, Hong Kong Island was under British Colonial rule and today, only a few buildings of this period remain. The white Flagstaff House, former residence of the colony's British military commander, contains the Tea Museum that boasts an exceptional collection of exhibits associated with the famous leaf. Since 1904, the city's nostalgic narrow double-decker trams have traveled through the crowded streets and are the most convenient mode of transport for covering short distances. Most of the sightseeing tours around the harbor embark from Central ...
