Blackened - London Riverside Studios - Lyrics: Blackened is the end
Winter it will send
Throwing all you see
Into obscurity
Death of Mother Earth
Never a rebirth
Evolution's end
Never will it mend
Never
Fire
To begin whipping dance of the dead
Blackened is the end
To begin whipping dance of the dead
Colour our world blackened
Blistering of earth
Terminate its worth
Deadly nicotine
Kills what might have been
Callous frigid chill
Nothing left to kill
Never seen before
Breathing nevermore
Never
Fire
To begin whipping dance of the dead
Blackened is the end
To begin whipping dance of the dead
Colour our world blackened
Blackened
Opposition...Contradiction...Premonition...Compromise
Agitation........Violation........Mutilation......Planet dies
Darkest colour
Blistered earth
True death of life
Termination...Expiration...Cancellation...Human race
Expectation....Liberation...Population...Lay to waste
See our mother
Put to death
See our mother die
Smouldering decay
Take her breath away
Millions of our years
In minutes disappears
Darkening in vain
Decadence remains
All is said and done
Never is the Sun
Never
Fire
To begin whipping dance of the dead
Blackened is the end
To begin whipping dance of the dead
Fire
Is the outcome of hypocrisy
Darkest potency
In the exit of humanity
Colour our world blackened

London’s landmarks show the hand of philosophers and artists, empires and kings. Sections of the London Wall still stand 2,000 years after Roman legionaries first laid its stones. In the 11th century, invading Normans built the Tower of London - now home to the Crown Jewels.
Big Ben and Palace of Westminster
13th century King Henry III ordered the erection of Westminster Abbey, one of Europe’s most beautiful Gothic buildings. The Renaissance granted London such architectural gems as St Paul’s Cathedral. The 18th century gave London Buckingham Palace, seat of the Royal Family. The 19th century saw the creation of the Palace of Westminster, iconic home of the British Parliament.
Thriving Business
Prosperous, safe, and orderly, London’s economy is thriving. Thanks to its business friendly outlook, London is the centre of European finance, accountancy, consulting, media and law. London is a global business hub, no wonder then, that the world’s largest companies make the city their home.
Buckingham Palace
By building on 2,000 years of history and tradition, London embraces the future with confidence. Gleaming towers complement ancient palaces. London continues to invest in one of the world’s most sophisticated transport networks, and boasts one of the busiest airport systems in the world. As the world makes London its home, the property market continues its dazzling rise, providing rich rewards for buyers and investors.
Key to London
From the heights of Stratford Riverside, London’s panorama is impressive. The City of London’s skyline rises in the west, revealing the financial powerhouse behind the British economy. From your new apartment, it almost seems you could reach out and touch London’s soul - the home of Buckingham Palace, Parliament, and millennia of proud history.
Canary Wharf rises in the south, its modern towers marking a new chapter in London’s booming economy. In the far distance, you can see Victoria Park, expansive golf courses, and the waterways that wind ever closer, until they pass beneath Stratford Riverside itself.
The Olympic Stadium
The Olympic Stadium steel and glass marvel was the focal point of the 2012 Olympics. Now, it is the centrepiece of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park - one of Europe’s largest urban parks, and home to superb sports facilities such as London Aquatics Centre with its 50m competition pool; Velo Park, with its cycle tracks, mountain bike trails, and BMX track; and Eton Manor, with its indoor tennis courts, and hockey pitches.

50 Things to do in London Travel Guide | Top Attractions London City Guide Transcript:
So Hello from London! Time for a new destination. This is a city that I haven't visited in almost 4 years and it is actually Sam's very first time here. So we're both very excited to be in London. And we're going to be making a little video guide. Actually a really big video guide because we plan on showing you 50 different things to do around London. So let's get started.
Our first stop was Trafalgar Square. This square leads to a lot of central attractions, so it's a nice place to people watch, get your bearings, and plan out where you want to go in the city.
The London Eye is a giant Ferris wheel on the South Bank of the Thames. It offers a bird's eye view of the city - just make sure you don't go on a foggy day.
Buckingham Palace has served as the official London residence for Britain's sovereigns since 1837. The State Rooms at Buckingham Palace are open to visitors every year, however, that's something that you need to plan months in advance.
The Palace of Westminster, also known as the Houses of Parliament, is the meeting place of the House of Commons and the House of Lords. The Palace along with Big Ben are two of the top London attractions that dot the city-scape.
The Tower of London sits on the north bank of the River Thames. Though this castle served many purposes, it's mainly remembered for its use as a prison in the 16th and 17th centuries.
And that's a wrap for London! Like with any mega city, it's impossible to cover all the sights and attractions you can enjoy here, but hopefully this video will give you an idea of what London has to offer. As always, if you have any other suggestions of things to do in London that you'd like to share with other travellers, feel free to include those in the comments below.
This is part of our Travel in England series. We're making a series of videos showcasing English culture, English arts, English foods, English religion, English cuisine and English people.

Why am I doing this? I travel a lot. Too much. And recently I find myself rocking up in a city that I've never been to before and know very little about. On any level. Culture, language, transport, money, food, etc. But most travel shows are an hour-long, US-centric, full of bad information, and almost exclusively aimed at tourists. So I wanted to create something different. Something aimed at the frequent traveller, something portable and short-form. Something...useful.
In our pilot episode we get you in, out, and around the wonderful city of London, England. We tell you the best way to get from the airport into the city, the best way to get around, how much things cost, and why you should ALWAYS stand on the right.
In follow up episodes we'll be adding a food and drink segment, as well as tips on how to avoid those awkward social and business faux pas.
I really appreciate you taking the time to watch this and welcome any thoughts, feedback, ideas, and suggestions for future episodes. Travel is my passion and I'm excited to share it with you.

Travel video about destination London in England.
London is an exciting and pulsating metropolis of the new millennium, a melting pot of both people and culture and a fascinating city of diverse contrasts.
The City Of London contains the Tower, an historic landmark with a remarkable history. A mighty medieval fortress with 13 towers that throughout its 900 years, has served many functions and from the Middle Ages, it was a heavily fortified prison.
After the medieval St. Paul's Cathedral was destroyed by a devastating fire in 1666, Christopher Wren was ordered to re-build it with a dome. During the 36 years of its construction, its design was frequently altered until finally a wonderful masterpiece of church architecture was created.
The Monument is the city's tallest freestanding stone column and a reminder of the Great Fire of London that destroyed 80 percent of the city. In four days, more than 13,000 buildings were destroyed and the Monument was built on the site of the bakery in which the fire began.
Since the reign of Queen Victoria, Buckingham Palace has served as London's royal residence. A garden of mulberry trees once grew on the site of today's palace and the Duke of Buckingham subsequently added a simple brick built residence. Around 60 years later, George II purchased the site for his wife and George IV eventually began to design an extensive palace complex.
The highlight of any holiday in London must be the largest Ferris wheel in the world, the London Eye. Situated on the banks of the Thames, it rises high into the sky, opposite the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben.
The former centre of the largest empire in the world, London is still a city of superlatives that attracts millions of visitors each year. Exciting both day and night, London is a modern city with age old traditions and a long and colorful history.

Everyone knows London. The red double-deckers, the black taxis, the red phone booths, the red brick buildings, the guards with the bearskin fur caps are well known by even those, who have never been to the English capital. There are the legendary buildings: the clock-tower of the Parliament, the Big Ben, the Saint Paul Cathedral, the residence of the Queen, the Buckingham Palace, the Westminster, the Tower and the famous bridge, the Tower, the Waterloo and the London bridge are all known from the pages of history books and literary pieces. There are incredibly lots of things to see, there is the British Museum, the National Gallery, the Trafalgar Square, the Piccadilly Circus, the famous parks, the St. James and the Hyde, the rebuilt Globe Theatre, the Madame Tussaud’s, the Sherlock Holmes Museum, and the new pride of the city, the London Eye… Not to mention the busy cultural life, the theatres, the restaurants of the Soho and Covent Garden, and the uncountable number of pubs, where in the old days Shakespeare, Dickens or Churchill had their beers.

For a unique view of London, UK, enjoy some sightseeing on the London Eye.
This giant Ferris wheel is over 400 feet tall, and it is one of the largest structures in the city. Some 3.5 million people ride it annually, making it one of the United Kingdom’s most popular tourist attractions. The Eye operates late into the evening, making it a perfect way to cap off a busy day of sightseeing. Believe us, if you thought London was lovely in the daylight, wait till you see it from the London Eye during the night—the city, lit up, is a glittering sight you’ll never forget.
Climb into one of the 32 air conditioned gondolas, sit down (or stand up!), and enjoy a London Eye tour. Every half-hour, the wheel completes a rotation, meaning you get a full 30 minutes to see the capital city from a height and angle previously only reachable by birds. On a clear day, you can see up to 25 miles in all directions. Now that’s a breathtaking view.
Have you ridden on the London Eye? What did you think?
