Amreli district is the worst affected, where 36 people died in the flood fury yesterday. AIR correspondent reports that 13 people died when two houses collapsed in Nani Vabhaniya village near Bagasara town of Amreli district. Apart from this, 3 people died in Bhavnagar district, 2 died in Gaondal in Rajkot district and and 3 people died in Surat district in different rain related incidents. NDRF and Airforce have been pressed in to the service for rescue and relief works in Amreli district. Additional companies of State Reserve Police force have been sent in all flood affected areas.More than 100 people have been airlifted in Amreli district while one thousand people have been evacuated in Surat due to flood and heavy rain fall. Chief Minister Anandiben Patel has reviewed the flood situation in a high level meeting in Gandhinagar and ordered in charge ministers to monitor the situation in all affected districts. Schools have been asked to remained closed in Ahmedabad district after heavy waterlogging last night. ****************************************­********************* This is Gir India Films.
