Francis Michael Gough (/ˈɡɒf/ GOF; 23 November 1916– 17 March 2011) was an English character actor who made over 150 film and television appearances. He is known for his roles in the Hammer Horror Films from 1958, and for his recurring role as Alfred Pennyworth in all four films of the Tim Burton/Joel Schumacher Batman series.
Francis Michael Gough was born in Kuala Lumpur, Federated Malay States (now Malaysia), the son of British parents Francis Berkeley Gough and Frances Atkins (née Bailie). Gough was educated at Rose Hill School, Tunbridge Wells, and at Durham School, he moved onto Wye Agricultural College which he left to go to the Old Vic. During World War II Gough was a conscientious objector, like his friend Frith Banbury, although he was obliged to serve in the Non-Combatant Corps, a member of 6 Northern Company, in Liverpool.
Gough made his film debut in 1948 in Blanche Fury, and thereafter appeared extensively on British television. In 1955, he portrayed one of the two murderers who kill the Duke of Clarence (John Gielgud) as well as the Princes in the Tower in Laurence Olivier's Richard III.

Here is the full uncut interview with voice-actor Michael Gough, whose grandfather was Arrow Development co-founder, William "Bill" Hardiman. We were fortunate enough to get in contact with Gough about 4 months prior to the world premiere of the documentary. In the final cut of the film, Gough's only appearance is the final spoken line from an interviewee, just before the credits begin rolling. Obviously, this left much to be desired, so here is the full interview, along with some never-before-seen photos from Gough's personal archive thrown in. Enjoy! Bypassing malware analysis sandboxes is easy, let’s discuss how they are doing it and why it works Have you ever received a piece of malware and wanted to know what it did? You may have used an automated cloud malware analysis sandbox like VxStream/Reverse.It, Malwr or built your own Cuckoo sandbox. There are also high-end commercial solutions available such as ReversingLabs, Lastline and those integrated into Email, Web proxies and Next Gen Firewalls. What about malware that uses documents such as .DOC and .PDF files versus a regular .EXE binary? Some sandboxes do multiple file formats, some do not and some claim to mimic user behavior. In comparing commodity malware, what we get in email and drive-by surfing to the advanced custom malware in targeted attacks I found some interest...
Commodity malware and advanced attacks are hitting enterprises more often than ever before. When such an attack hits your organization can you detect it in one hour? One day? What if I were to tell you that I could compromise your backup, management and Anti-Virus software and utilize them to persist after reboot? What if I were to then show you how we detected this type of attack with adequately configured Windows logs? This talk will cover what tools and methods worked well and what you can start doing today to improve your detection and incident response capabilities. How commodity malware like Dridex, APT like Winnti were detected and how the many Retail PoS breaches could have easily been detected with good logging. A walk through of an advanced and commodity attack, what the at...
