Corporate Executive Chef Sam Netter joins 670 AM
The Score for a
4th of July rendition of "
BBQ Talk" where he shares his best tips and tricks for summer grilling season.
About Sam Netter:
At the age of twelve, Sam was fascinated with the operations of a commercial kitchen. This is when he knew he had found his passion. He spent the next seven years developing his skills in kitchens around the
Chicagoland area.
In order to fully pursue his passion, he decided to round out his experience with formal training by attending
Le Cordon Bleu in
Chicago. After graduation he worked briefly at the esteemed Le Vichyssoise and Tramonto's Steakhouse, then moved on to numerous other fine dining restaurants. He has also worked for such big name companies as
Whole Foods,
Deerfield's
Bakery, and
Sweet Baby Rays Barbecue. He decided to continue his love and passion for great BBQ and now currently oversees the operations as Corporate Executive Chef at
Real Urban BBQ.
In his spare time, Sam participates in professional
KCBS and
MBN BBQ competitions under the team name
Deuce's
Wild. He also enjoys spending time with his wife
Erica and newborn son Jameson.
Sam's talent for creating delicious food by combining simple ingredients is reflected in the warm reception of the food at Real Urban BBQ.
