Our lovely renovated family home has four bedrooms plus a sunroom/office with an extra fold-out bed available on request. We provide a child friendly environment with garden, books and games available, including an Xbox 360.
A lovely vine covered courtyard and backyard with barbecue extend from the main living area, as well as a large private balcony with table, chairs and hammock extending off the main upstairs bedroom. A long driveway extends from the street and can accomodate up to three vehicles - a huge plus when you live this close to the beach!
Whilst the house can easily and comfortably accomodate 10 people (plus a baby/small child), please be aware that there are only 4 bedrooms. The bedding arrangements are as follows:
Main upstairs bedroom with attached balcony: 1 x King sized bed
There is plenty of room to also put in a mattress or fold out bed or baby's portable cot if you wish to accommodate more than 2 people in this room.
Second upstairs bedroom: 1 x Queen sized bed and 1 x Single bed
Main downstairs bedroom with attached sunroom: 1 x Queen sized bed plus one small bed in the sunroom to fit a child. There is also enough room to fit a portable cot or extra single mattress in the main part of the bedroom.
Second downstairs bedroom: 1 x King Single bed with a single mattress stored underneath. This mattress will fit on the floor of this room but as the room is small it is best used in another room.
There is also a very comfortable sofa in the main living area that can easily be used as a bed for small person (older child), and I can also provide a fold-up bed if requested.
You'll find a friendly cat, 2 sweet bunnies and 2 chickens on the property for a little taste of farm life. This means fresh eggs daily, as well as veggies from our home grown veggie garden.
Our home is perfectly situated in a lovely beachside neighbourhood amidst a friendly and varied local community. We are located 2 minutes walk to the beach, children's playground, skate park, major bus stop and a variety of cafes and restaurants. You will also find lovely walks along the coastline and through the adjacent bushland.
A small shopping centre is located one block behind our house and a large Westfield shopping centre is located about 1 kilometre or 5 minutes car ride away.
