Kangaroos can usually be seen around in the early morning and evenings around the houses and you are sure to spot a blue tongue lizard or an iguana on your way to and from the Leisure Centre.

 LOCAL MARKETS

NOOSA FARMERS MARKET   Sunday from 6:00am to midday showcases the finest and freshest of regional produce, grown or produced on the Sunshine Coast and surrounding districts. Discover the flavoursome taste of fresh fruit and vegetables, just harvested, much of it organic. Enjoy the wonderful assortment of condiments, cheeses, antipasto, breads, olive oils and flowers and plants. This is an entertaining morning market experience.

EUMUNDI MARKET

Weekly on Wednesdays (8:00am - 1:30pm) and Saturdays (6:30am to 2:00pm) Visit the historical Eumundi Township and experience the Eumundi Markets. This otherwise sleepy hinterland town springs to life and transforms into a vibrant mecca for shoppers looking for something different.  Wonderful musicians, fresh produce, arts and crafts and more. Stay for lunch and enjoy the diverse cuisine that is available.     

NATIONAL PARKS       

GREAT SANDY NATIONAL PARK is accessible with a 4WD just 1 km down Beach Road.  It stretches for 60 kilometres from Noosa North Shore up to Rainbow Beach. The area is also known as Cooloola and the park is home to the Teewah Coloured Sands, Carlo Sand Blow, Rainbow Beach and the amazing beach at Double Island Point.  The park is full of walking tracks and picnic sites. It also offers easy 4WD access to world heritage listed Fraser Island, the world's largest sand island where you will see pristine rainforests, sweeping beaches and clear blue lagoons.

NOOSA NATIONAL PARK is located at the end of Hastings Street and is accessible from Sunshine Beach to the south.  The park attracts bushwalkers, nature lovers, picnickers and surfers.  Look out for the resident wildlife including goannas and koalas.  Swim or surf at coves and beaches around the rocky headland, wander through cool vine forests palm groves and slopes that bloom with spring wildflowers.

TEWANTIN STATE FOREST is just west of Noosa and Tewantin along the Cooroy-Noosa Road. Walk to Mt. Tinbeerwah Lookout for a 360 degree view over the Noosa River system with its string of lakes, the coast and hinterland forests. West of Tewantin have a picnic among coastal she-oaks and bloodwood trees at Wooroi day use area.  Picnic tables, barbeques and drinking water are provided. See tall flooded gums that are hundreds of years old and cabbage tree palms along the walking tracks.

 Our location at the gateway of the Cooloola-Great Sandy National Park (just a couple of minutes’ drive from the Noosa River Ferry) is the perfect setting for our eco inspired luxury holiday retreat. We are bounded by hectares of native bushland and kilometres of pristine coastline.

 BY CAR

•           Via the Bruce Highway take the Cooroy turn off

•           Drive towards Cooroy, turn right into Elm Street and follow signs to Tewantin, past the Golf Course, cemetery and School and at the Shell Service Station, turn left into Moorindil St.

•           Travel 2km to the Noosa River Ferry which will transport you across the river (for a small fee) (5.30am-10.20pm Sun to Thurs & 5.30am to midnight, Fri & Sat).

•           Travel along Maximillian Road for 2km and bear right into Beach Road

•           The access to Beach Road Holiday Homes is on the right hand side just after passing Noosa North Shore Retreat on the left.

Manager’s reception (for check in) is on the right along the driveway just after the entrance gate.  The office is open between 9am and 5pm daily.  For out of hours check in please advise and alternative arrangements can be made
