The Lab is our weekly office rave up where we live stream some of the biggest and best names in dance music and this week we welcome both Craig Richards and Calibre.
Craig Richards -- visual artist, producer, record collector and mind-altering selector -- is the man at the heart of London club Fabric's impeccable musical identity. His legendary early morning sets and incredible artist selection have helped underline Fabric as the capital's premiere club. He also curates his own The Nothing Special events and record label. In 2013 the label released tracks from the likes Trevino, dBRm (dBridge & Keith Tenniswood) and Dominick Martin and this year will release music from Neville Watson, Calibre and Radioactive Man.
Calibre, the artist responsible for some of the most beautiful tracks in drum 'n' bass to date. He's released as Dominick Martin on The Nothing Special label, but here he treated us to his classice Calibre sounds. Bit of a "We're not worthy" moment to be honest!
The Lab will also feature bespoke visuals from Olly Jennings who you may know from his work with Akkord.

A little about myself:
John Baker aka Johnny B is a DJ based in Berkshire, UK and has been in the mix since 2000. In September 2013 he won the RAM Brixton DJ competition, where his liquid drum & bass entry awarded him the chance to play the opening set for RAM Records' biggest dnb event so far at Brixton Academy, London.

In guns including firearms, caliber or calibre is the approximate internal diameter of the barrel in relation to the diameter of the projectile used in it.
In a rifled barrel, the distance is measured between opposing lands or grooves; groove measurements are common in cartridge designations originating in the United States, while land measurements are more common elsewhere. It is important to performance that a bullet should closely match the groove diameter of a barrel to ensure a good seal. When the barrel diameter is given in inches, the abbreviation "cal" is used in place of "inches." For example, a small bore rifle with a diameter of 0.22 inch is a .22 cal; however, the decimal point is generally dropped when spoken, making it "twenty-two caliber" or a "two-two caliber". Calibers of firearms can be referred to in millimeters, as in a "caliber of eighty-eight millimeters" (88 mm) or "a hundred and five-millimeter caliber gun" (often abbreviated as "105 mm gun").
While modern cartridges and cartridge firearms are generally referred to by the cartridge name, they are still lumped together based on bore diameter. For example, a firearm might be described as a ".30 caliber rifle", which could be any of a wide range of cartridges using a roughly .30 inch projectile; or a ".22 rimfire", referring to any rimfire cartridge using a .22 caliber projectile.

Lincoln Barrett, better known by the stage name High Contrast (born 18 September 1979, Penarth, Cardiff), is a Welsh drum and bass DJ and producer.
Barrett grew up more interested in films and film soundtracks rather than music, and still cites Wendy Carlos's A Clockwork Orange soundtrack album and the Vangelis soundtrack for Blade Runner as defining musical influences. Whilst studying film making in Newport, he heard J Majik's Arabian Nights which turned the then 17-year-old Barrett on to drum and bass music. Barrett used to work in Cardiff's only electronic record shop, Catapult. A short time after he began to make music, he was given a DJ residency at Cardiff's drum and bass night, named Silent Running. During his residency at Silent Running, Barrett played alongside artists such as Grooverider and London Elektricity.
In June 2002, Barrett's debut album, True Colours, was released on Hospital Records, with "Return of Forever" and "Global Love" finding their way into the UK Singles Chart. His second album was High Society.

The Lab is our weekly office rave up where we live stream some of the biggest and best names in dance music and this week we welcome both Craig Richards and Calibre.
Craig Richards -- visual artist, producer, record collector and mind-altering selector -- is the man at the heart of London club Fabric's impeccable musical identity. His legendary early morning sets and incredible artist selection have helped underline Fabric as the capital's premiere club. He also curates his own The Nothing Special events and record label. In 2013 the label released tracks from the likes Trevino, dBRm (dBridge & Keith Tenniswood) and Dominick Martin and this year will release music from Neville Watson, Calibre and Radioactive Man.
Calibre, the artist responsible for some of the most beautiful tracks in drum 'n' bass to date. He's released as Dominick Martin on The Nothing Special label, but here he treated us to his classice Calibre sounds. Bit of a "We're not worthy" moment to be honest!
The Lab will also feature bespoke visuals from Olly Jennings who you may know from his work with Akkord.
