TEATRO VALLE OCCUPATO, Rome, Italy, March 9 2013 Un work in progress su immagini, testi, musica, social media, e altre suggestioni dalla rivoluzione siriana A work in progress presentation of images, texts, music, social media and other creative works made during the Syrian revolution. The theater piece reflects the bombing of the University of Aleppo engineering department in January 2013 and is inspired by the art created by the students in reflecting on this event. Raccontare quello che sta succedendo in Siria, da due anni a questa parte, è doloroso. Doloroso parlare di morti, violenza, bombardamenti, sangue versato quotidianamente, rifugiati, sfollati. Una tragedia a cui assistiamo, attraverso sottili schermi di computer e televisori ad attuttirci il senso di realtà e di dolore. Eppure, insieme alla violenza, ogni giorno dalla Siria emerge la vita. Emerge dalle poesie, dalla musica, dai disegni, dalle immagini, dall'arte che in ogni (maledetto) giorno di morte i siriani trasformano in un'ode disperata al vivere. La societa` civile siriana non ha mai smesso di essere attiva, e creativa, nel silenzio dei media e dei politici, troppo concentrati a costruire scenari per il "giorno dopo", mentre il presente viene messo da parte, con tutte le sue imbarazzanti domande e l'immobilita` del mondo. La Siria resiste, anche creativamente, al dolore, e anche creativamente dimostra, a chi non la vuole capace di scegliersi il suo futuro e il suo diritto alla dignita`, di essere una societa` matura che puo` e deve essere libera da ogni tipo di oppressione. Questo è un tentativo di raccontare la Siria e la sua resistenza creativa attraverso le immagini, i suoni, gli atti, che affollanno il caos di Internet e delle strade del paese. Abbiamo provato ad estrarli dalla rete, ad evocarli e a contestualizzarli. Siamo persone diverse, con esperienze e vite diverse, ma ci ha unito la voglia di provare a raccontare un paese e il suo presente attraverso le schegge di creatività e dolore che il suo popolo immette nella rete, come un messaggio nella bottiglia, lasciato vagare nel mare nella speranza che un giorno qualcuno lo legga. Abbiamo aperto un workshop, un'officina produttiva che, nel corso di oltre un mese, è stata frequentata da arabi e italiani, traduttori, studenti, ricercatori, musicisti, scenografi, attori... Abbiamo vagliato suoni e immagini, letto e riletto testi, discusso problematiche. Come si fa a raccontare un popolo creativamente mentre sta soffrendo? "I guardiani delle immagini" (un verso di una splendida poesia del siriano Golan Hajj) non è uno spettacolo teatrale. Sono scene, frammenti, schegge di vita reale della Siria di oggi catapultate attraverso il web e che noi, tutti insieme, abbiamo provato a incollare nell`officina vivente del Teatro Valle Occupato affinchè parlino ancora di dolore e di vita, di amore per la vita. E` il nostro tentativo di raccontare il presente, aperto e in-progress, a cui faranno seguito altri capitoli, altri tentativi... E` il nostro omaggio alla Siria e alla dignità del suo popolo. Sarebbe ora che i popoli Occidentali, e gli Europei che si affacciano sul Mediterraneo in primo luogo, si sveglino da questo incubo ipnotico loro imposto da una propaganda battente a cura di televisioni e giornali. Sarebbe ora che essi spengano le loro scatole ipnotiche televisive, che incrocino le braccia e caccino, vox populi, quella masnada di impostori e ladri che si ritrovano per "governanti". Il Mediterraneo ha bisogno di coesione nell'interesse e per il benessere dei popoli che vi appartengono, e per fare questo essi devono liberarsi dei parassiti che li stanno riducendo in miseria e ponendoli gli uni contro gli altri. Liberazione dei popoli ed instaurazione di governi che veramente li rappresentino, mandando a casa tutta l'attuale classe parassitaria politica, senza esclusione alcuna, sostituendola con uomini e donne non ideologizzati, settari e di parte (e perciò, come la destra non può rappresentare gli interessi di questi popoli, tanto meno lo può la sinistra, settaria per natura). Questo è l'obiettivo che dobbiamo proporci di raggiungere, senza farci incantare dai "pacifisti, umanisti, ecologisti" per convenienza di parte, i quali vorrebbero la Siria libera da ingerenze esterne,...ma, udite udite, senza Bashar al-Assad. Questi falsi attivisti pro-Siria, a maggioranza appartenenti all'area progressista-sinistrolesa, fanno in realtà, in altro modo, il gioco di coloro che vorrebbero estromettere dal governo Assad ed il partito che sin'ora ha permesso alla Siria di restare autonoma ed indipendente dalle ingerenze israeliane nell'area mediorientale. Tolto Bashar e tolto il suo partito combattente, poi tutto sarebbe più facile per le forze della dissoluzione. Quindi, in conclusione, fate bene attenzione ai "falsi amici" della Siria che si propongono in questi tempi come difensori della Siria dalle ingerenze straniere, e per capire e scoprire il loro gioco, fate loro una semplice domanda:"Ma voi, siete per la Siria con Bashar al-Assad, specialmente in questa fase, o credete che senza Bashar al-Assad ed il suo partito tutto andrebbe forse meglio, in questo momento???". Vedrete cosa vi risponderanno e li riconoscerete. Syria, Aleppo, 11 November 2015 ~ Units of the Syrian Arab Army achieved new progress in the war against terrorism in Aleppo eastern countryside reaching Kwairis airport and contacting with the heroic soldiers who have thwarted hundreds of attempts by ISIS to attack the airport during the latest months. During the operations carried out to lift the siege on the airport, the army killed hundreds of ISIS terrorists and destroyed their dens and cells with all weapons inside. The army also established control on tens of villages and strategic hills in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, the latest of which was the village of Sheikh Ahmad near the airport. Residents Return to Salma After Syrian Forces Recapture Stronghold

The strategic Syrian town of Salma has been seeing residents return since it was recaptured by government forces earlier this month. The Syrian army recaptured Salma, located in the northeast of Latakia Governate, on January 12. The town suffered severe damages during its three-year occupation by extremist groups. "The terrorists destroyed nearly the entire town. They burned 200 hectares of olive groves and 300 hectares of forests. Now they have fled towards Turkey," said Ibrahim Salim, governor of Latakia. More than 10,000 people used to live in Salma. Some of the residents have returned in hopes of rebuilding their homes. "Now it's very good after the Syrian army sit in this town. Now there is no danger here. Our future is very good here," said a Salma resident. Local officials said government troops are now able to advance from Salma towards provinces in the northern part of the country.
