John Carpenter
John Howard Carpenter (born January 16, 1948) is an American film director, screenwriter, producer, editor and composer. Although Carpenter has worked in numerous film genres, he is most commonly associated with horror and science fiction films from the 1970s and 1980s.
Most films in Carpenter's career were initially commercial and critical failures, with the notable exceptions of Halloween (1978), Escape from New York (1981) and Starman (1984). However many of Carpenter's films from the 1970s and the 1980s have come to be viewed as cult classics, and he has been acknowledged as an influential filmmaker. Cult classics that Carpenter directed include: Dark Star (1974), Assault on Precinct 13 (1976), The Fog (1980), The Thing (1982), Christine (1983), Big Trouble in Little China (1986), Prince of Darkness (1987) and They Live (1988).
Carpenter is also notable for having composed or co-composed most of the music of his films; some of them are now considered cult as well, with the main theme of Halloween being considered a part of popular culture. He released his first studio album Lost Themes on 2015, and also won a Saturn Award for Best Music for Vampires (1998).

Kendrick Lamar
Kendrick Lamar Duckworth (born June 17, 1987) is an American rapper from Compton, California. Lamar embarked on his musical career as a teenager under the moniker K-Dot, released a mixtape which garnered local attention and led to his signing with Carson-based independent record label Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE). Lamar began to gain major recognition in 2010 after his first retail release, Overly Dedicated. The following year, he released Section.80, his first independent album, exclusively through iTunes. The album included Lamar's debut single, "HiiiPoWeR". By that time, Lamar had amassed a large internet following and had already worked with several prominent artists in the hip hop industry, including The Game, Snoop Dogg, and Busta Rhymes.
Lamar secured a recording contract with Aftermath and Interscope Records in 2012. His major-label debut album, good kid, m.A.A.d city, was released in October 2012 to universal acclaim. The record contained the top 40 singles "Swimming Pools (Drank)", "Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe", and "Poetic Justice". Upon its release, the album debuted at number two on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart and was later certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). In early 2013, MTV named Lamar the No. 1 "Hottest MC in the Game" on their annual list.

I enlisted the help of my friend from college, Drew Dorsey (http://drewdorseycine.com). He helped me out with the setup of every shot except for the live action shots since the tight budget couldn’t get him out to Atlanta (where Collective Soul lives).

He helped me out with the setup of every shot except for the live action shots since the tight budget couldn’t get him out to Atlanta (where Collective Soul lives).

MSA Remote is a remote control application for iPhone & iPod Touch that sends OSC messages over the wifi network. This allows you to control any OSC supporting applications such as Max/MSP/Jitter, PureData, Reaktor, VDMX, vvvv, Resolume, Quartz Composer etc.
In this video, OSCulator is routing the OSC (& TUIO) messages coming from MSA Remote to midi and forwarding to Ableton Live and VDMX simultaneously. Nothing is done in post, the same signal is controlling both audio and video.
At the beginning of the video you can see the polyphonic velocity sensitive keys in action (yes, the harder you hit the keys, the louder the sound - works equally well when the iphone is laid on a table), and later on the faders, triggers and multitouch tuio-pad.

Teaming up again with Global Creatures*, Spinifex created a dramatic animated stage backdrop for this ambitious theatrical interpretation of the hit DreamWorks film How to Train Your Dragon. The stage floor, the size of a football field, and the rear wall, the size of 9 cinema screens, combine into a seamless projection canvas, evoking the moody landscapes that carry Hiccup and Toothless through their epic adventure.
Spinifex produced over 2 hours of digital content, which is tightly choreographed to the performances of the actors and the 25 life-like animatronic models, suggesting speed and movement as they fly, explosions and battle as they fight.
“The show heralds the creation of a new genre, combining elements of cinema and theatre in a really magical and immersive experience. For the digital media producer it raised the challenges of not only designing and creating imaginary environments, but doing it so they integrate with live performers and massive animatronic creatures.” Anthony Hickson, Producer, Spinifex.

MSA Remote is a remote control application for iPhone & iPod Touch that sends OSC messages over the wifi network. This allows you to control any OSC supporting applications such as Max/MSP/Jitter, PureData, Reaktor, VDMX, vvvv, Resolume, Quartz Composer etc.
In this video, OSCulator is routing the OSC (& TUIO) messages coming from MSA Remote to midi and forwarding to Ableton Live and VDMX simultaneously. Nothing is done in post, the same signal is controlling both audio and video.
At the beginning of the video you can see the polyphonic velocity sensitive keys in action (yes, the harder you hit the keys, the louder the sound - works equally well when the iphone is laid on a table), and later on the faders, triggers and multitouch tuio-pad.

Teaming up again with Global Creatures*, Spinifex created a dramatic animated stage backdrop for this ambitious theatrical interpretation of the hit DreamWorks film How to Train Your Dragon. The stage floor, the size of a football field, and the rear wall, the size of 9 cinema screens, combine into a seamless projection canvas, evoking the moody landscapes that carry Hiccup and Toothless through their epic adventure.
Spinifex produced over 2 hours of digital content, which is tightly choreographed to the performances of the actors and the 25 life-like animatronic models, suggesting speed and movement as they fly, explosions and battle as they fight.

Through everything i shot, all the people who have supported me this whole way, the companies and people i have worked with, the new faces i have met. I cannot thank each and everyone of you guys enough. I wouldnt be here today without you people.
