Chopped is a reality based cooking television series created by Michael Krupat, produced by Linda Lea, and hosted by Ted Allen that pits four chefs against each other competing for a chance to win $10,000. New episodes air every Tuesday at 10pm EST on Food Network.
In each episode, four chefs compete. Their challenge is to take a mystery basket of ingredients and turn them into a dish that is judged on their creativity, presentation, and taste with minimal time to plan and execute. The show is divided into three rounds: "Appetizer", "Entrée", and "Dessert". In each round, the chefs are given a basket containing between three and five ingredients, and the dish each competitor prepares must contain each of those ingredients. The ingredients are often ones which are not commonly prepared together. For example, in "Yucca, Watermelon, Tortillas," the episode which originally aired on February 10, 2009, the appetizer course boxes contained watermelon, canned sardines, pepper jack cheese, and zucchini.
Edward R. "Ted" Allen is an American writer, cookbook author, and television personality. His newest cookbook, In My Kitchen, comes out from Clarkson-Potter publishers on May 1, 2012. He was the food and wine connoisseur on the American Bravo network's Emmy-winning television program Queer Eye. He now is the host of the prime-time series Chopped, a culinary competition called "the crown jewel of Food Network" by the New York Post, in which four chefs per episode attempt to cook their way through three courses to win a $10,000 prize. He is a longtime contributing writer to Esquire magazine, the author of two cookbooks, and regularly appears on the Food Network's show The Best Thing I Ever Ate and other television cooking shows.
Ted Allen was born in Columbus, Ohio, but grew up in Carmel, Indiana. His Southern-born mother instilled in him a love of food and cooking. Allen is openly gay and lives in New York City with his partner, Barry Rice, who runs the interior design firm Barry Rice Design, and who is a former journalism department chair and professor at Columbia College Chicago.
Feed us, tease us
I've got this power in my genitals
Let me go on for
Tease me, I'll stand high
Attention deficit
Don't pull short of what I'm near
I will tease her
Beautiful, a tease, yea.
Can your dick support your body weight?
Turn round and let me show you what I mean
Yea, yea, ..?
I've played with other girls
But Kinder is my whore
I will tease her
I'm more and more, of yours
And I'll wait, ah-hai
And I'll wait, ah-hai
And I'll wait, ah-hai
Cause I'm not afraid, tease her
You've got the best of me, yeah
Figured out
Cause I'm not afraid, tease her
You've got the best of me, yeah
Figured out
Pull!
I went, I went to the bottom,
I slip, for me it's you
Oh sweet, as papa's girl should be
Oh shit, what have I found?

And my arms hurt
And I took down
Oh yeah to the bottom
Do I scare you?
Well I should be

You know youll break in scaredom
You wont fight when your sore

Youll slip when your sore
Get up, arent your arms still working?
