Jiang Zemin's death or illness has led to a dispute in
the
Chinese Communist Party (
CCP) regarding Jiang's life.
Jiang's notorious deeds have attracted attention.
NTD will make a series of reports on Jiang's life.
Today, we discuss Jiang's betrayals and falsifications.
Lü
Jiaping from the
Chinese Association of
WWII History
wrote an open letter in Dec. 2009,
accusing Jiang of "two betrayals and two falsifications."
Addressed to CCP's
Central Committee and
Hu Jintao,
the letter accused Jiang of spying for the
Japanese and
USSR,
and his falsifications of personal and family histories.
The letter said, Jiang's father Jiang Shijun worked
for the Japanese invaders under the name Jiang Guanqian.
He served in a puppet government controlled by the Japanese,
and was a traitor, betraying
China for personal gains.
In 1943, Jiang's father sent him to the "
Central College",
which trained many Chinese traitors for the Japanese.
Jiang Zemin once met with Japanese agents
Ding Mocun
and Li Shiqun, and took a photo with them.
Ding was the head of Japanese spies under
Doihara Kenji,
who later was prosecuted for his war crimes in China.
Japanese surrendered in
1945, and Jiang Zemin was wanted
as a traitor by the Chinese national government.
Jiang hid away until the government called the search off,
and resumed his studies at the
Central University,
which was later renamed
Nanjing University.
When Jiang Zemin became
General Secretary of CCP in
1989,
Nanjing University found his student record and library card
at the former Japanese-controlled Central University.
Jiang visited Nanjing University in the
1990s.
Jiang and his father were both traitors for the Japanese.
However, Jiang claimed to be the son of a
martyr,
specifically a foster son of his uncle Jiang
Shangqing.
Jiang Shangqing joined the CCP in 1929,
served in the counter-Japanese war under Kuomintang,
and died in a gun fire in
1939, at the age of 28.
Jiang Shangqing was 15 years senior of Jiang Zemin.
Jiang Shangqing's daughter once wrote
about Jiang Zemin's being adopted by Jiang Shangqing,
but with many incoherent descriptions.
Lü Jiaping said in the letter that Jiang Shangqing
was a CCP leader in the anti-Japanese war,
but Jiang Zemin』s real father was working for the Japanese.
The two brothers were enemies.
Giving Jiang Zemin to his brother for adoption,
Jiang Shijun would get himself in trouble.
Zhang Zanning (
Law Professor from Dongnan
University):
"The two sides closely monitored "enemy ties."
Plus, Jiang Shangqing was only 15 years older
than Jiang Zemin, so they couldn't be father and son.
Jiang Shangqing was poor, but Jiang Zemin's family was rich.
You normally don't see rich kids adopted by poor families."
Lü Jiaping said, Jiang Shangqing's daughter Jiang Zehui
said in
2003 that Jiang Zemin was not adopted by her father.
Zhang Zanning: "CCP emphasizes the family background.
Jiang Zemin made up the adoption story
to erase his dishonorable family history."
Lü Jiaping said Jiang Zemin was a fake CCP member.
Record shows that he joined the CCP in
April 1946.
However, at the time he had just returned from a hideout,
so to avoid arrest for connection with the Japanese,
he had to join CCP.
He was recommended by his classmate
Wang Jiayou,
who didn't meet the CCP requirements.
Lü Jiaping said Jiang actually joined the CCP in
1956
after his study in the
Soviet Union (USSR; today』s
Russia).
According to some information agencies, while in USSR,
Jiang Zemin was seduced by the
KGB spy Klava
to collect information from China for the USSR.
When Jiang was leader of the CCP, he visited Russia.
Russian president Yeltsin arranged a private meeting
for Jiang Zemin and Klava. Jiang Zemin, on his part,
signed away over 1.5 million km2 of Chinese land to Russia.
In Aug
2010, Lü Jiaping finished his report on Jiang Zemin,
with a new evidence of his falsifications.
He said to
Radio Sound of Hope in an interview:
"
The new evidence is very solid, showing he faked his CCP
underground membership. He didn't join CCP till after 1949.
People will know it in the future from this evidence.
Jiang Zemin is coming to an end.
This is my biggest find in the last 8 years."
However, Lü Jiaping had since disappeared.
Sources said he was detained in
Beijing, and on May 13,
2011,
he was sentenced to 10 years in prison for
"subversion of state power".
Now, the words of "Jiang Zemin's death" force the CCP
to conduct a thorough review on Jiang's life.
Lü said Jiang's many problems include selling out
China's land, persecuting
Falun Gong, corruption, etc.
The two betrayals and two falsifications
will give Hu Jintao strong cards to expose Jiang.
