Nasir Malik Republican Candidate for Justice of the Peace Precinct Four, Place Two Harris County, TX http://malik4jp.com My name is Nasir Malik, and I am proof that the "American Dream" is alive and well. I am and always will be an American, whether times are good or bad. I have thrived in an economy that only America can provide, and I have survived through a recession that only an American can bear. Four years ago, I was asked to run for office, but, four years ago, as a custom home builder, I was trying my utmost to survive the recession. Now, I believe the time is right for me to step forward and do my best to serve my community and give back to a country that has given me hope and freedom. I will do my utmost to honor and cherish what it means to be an American and a Republican by upholding the beliefs of Pro-Family, Pro-Life, Pro-Marriage, Pro-Business, and a smaller, more efficient government. I am running for Harris County Justice of Peace for Precinct 4, Place 2 based in Humble, TX. I am not only asking for your support by your vote, but I am asking for your prayers as well. With your help, I will be able to continue the legacy of Tom Lawrence, who has dutifully served our community for the past 32 years. I continue to mentor our youth within two ISD's and I pledge to fully utilize existing programs that are geared toward correcting the behavior choices made by our youth. With your support, I will extend my reach into the community and be able to help as many people as I can. I pledge to expand these existing programs and focus on developing new programs with our own community organizations that are desperately looking for opportunities to keep our unique "American Dream" alive, so that our future generations do not become lost generations. My focus will be on making our community a safer, better place to live in by focusing on the root of the problem. I believe that the choices we make in our youth have long-lasting and immense impacts on all of us for the rest of our lives, and that is why I will always be striving to help our youth. Our first responders, who deal with adversity in our community every day, deserve a Justice of the Peace who is committed to a partnership that will allow them to do their jobs and keep our communities as safe as possible. Precinct 4 now has over one million citizens and is growing rapidly. I have been asked to apply my business and management skills, as an employer of 50 -- 100 local jobs, to proactively address this growth and work as a vital team member with our first responders. There are role models within our judicial system that I will use as role models to ensure that the JP-Place 2 court will function even more efficiently than it is today. To show my commitment to being a fiscal conservative, I pledge to lower the costs of this court to the taxpayers.
