Masako Katsuki (勝生 真沙子, Katsuki Masako?, née Masako Shiono (塩野 雅子, Shiono Masako?), born October 15, 1958) is a Japanese voice actress who was born in Hachinohe, Aomori. Formerly from Theater Echo, she is currently employed by 81 Produce and has voiced in several notable films and tv series. Some of Katsuki's best known roles are Maria Von Trapp (Trapp Ikka Monogatari), Reccoa Londe (Zeta Gundam), Maya Kitajima (Glass Mask), Masuyo Ikari (High School! Kimengumi), Michiru Kaioh/Sailor Neptune (Sailor Moon series), and Tsunade (Naruto).
Following her debut in Shiroi Kiba: White Fang Monotagari as the role of Mary Scott, Katsuki has lent her voice to anime, Japanese-dubbed films, games, drama CDs, narration, and commercials.
Katsuki’s sensual, dignified voice quality is what distinguishes her the most in her performances. From nice and rational (Sailor Neptune) to hotheaded (Tsunade, Ikari) and playful (Ceilia von Spitzweg, Maria), she tends to mainly play strong, beautiful female characters. On this account, there are many characters Katsuki plays who is a noble, a mother or an elder sister, especially an intellect or an adult. There were a few cases, but Katsuki also voiced boys.
Megumi Ogata (緒方 恵美, Ogata Megumi?) (June 6, 1965) is a female seiyū and singer from the Tokyo Metropolitan area. As a singer, she goes by the name em:óu. She attended Tōkai University, but left due to lack of interest. She is also best known for voicing Sailor Uranus, Kurama and Shinji Ikari.
Megumi started out as a musical actress and attended the same classes as Rumi Kasahara and the late Shiho Niiyama. She used to be affiliated with Aoni Production. Because of her husky voice, she is often typecast as either young men and boys or tomboyish females (a famous example of this being Sailor Uranus, a popular character from Sailor Moon known for being a charming tomboy in her civilian form). It is also because of this that she is sometimes referred as "Aniki" ("Big brother" in Japanese, usually used in gangs) by fans. She married for the second time on April 1, 2004 and appeared on NHK's second anime song marathon on April 30 along with fellow seiyuu Ichiro Mizuki.
