Although Winter Music Conference may be over, Axtone Records returns to Florida by welcoming Miami‐based producer Robbie Rivera and his collaboration with Shawnee Taylor, titled ‘Falling Deeper’.
Well known for his tribal influenced house music, Robbie has been actively DJing andproducing for over 10 years, producing tracks such as ‘Funk‐A‐Tron’ and ‘Bang’. Additionally, Robbie finds time to run his own label, Juicy Music, which has featured the likes of Todd Terry, Harry Romero, MAKJ, and Crystal Waters.
Born from musical parents, Shawnee’s voice is well recognised throughout dance music, with numerous collaborations alongside famed DJ and house legend, Erick Morillo. Having releases on Subliminal, Defected, Ultra, and now Axtone, Shawnee shows no sign of slowing down, ensuring her soulful voice is heard throughout the dance music world.
Listeners will notice that ‘Falling Deeper’ represents a current shift in dance music back to when clubs, not festivals, reigned supreme. With low thumping basslines and organic stabs, Axtone is more than happy to support this shift with established artists such as Robbie and Shawnee.

Rivera
Rivera is the capital of Rivera Department of Uruguay. The border with Brazil joins it with the Brazilian city of Santana do Livramento, which is only a street away from it. Together, they form an urban area of around 200,000 inhabitants. As of the census of 2011, it is the sixth most populated city of Uruguay.
Location
The city is located on the border with Brazil at the north end of Route 5.
History
On 21 March 1860 a pueblo (village) named Pereira was created by the Act of Ley Nº 614.
On 7 May 1862, it was substituted by the villa (town) named Ceballos and founded by the Act of Ley Nº 704, in honour of the Spanish viceroy Pedro de Cevallos. In July 1867 it took on the official name Rivera and was recognized as a villa. The Brazilian town Santana do Livramento already existed just across the border. On 1 October 1884, it became capital of the Department of Rivera by the Act of Ley Nº 1.757. Its status was elevated to ciudad (city) on 10 June 1912 by the Act of Ley Nº 4.006.
In 1943, the Plaza Internacional Rivera-Livramento (see photo) was built to celebrate the Fifth Conference of the Commission Mixta for Mixed Limits and as a hope for the future integration of the two towns, claimed to be the only international square in the world. From 1851 to this day, inhabitants of both communities are free to move in both sides. Customs and checkpoints are located outside the cities. Today, duty-free shops are one of the main economic resources of Rivera.

Dominica (/ˌdɒmɪˈniːkə/ DOM-i-NEE-kə;French: Dominique; Island Carib: Wai‘tu kubuli), officially the Commonwealth of Dominica, is an island country in the Lesser Antilles region of the Caribbean Sea, south-southeast of Guadeloupe and northwest of Martinique. Its area is 750 square kilometres (290 sq mi) and the highest point is Morne Diablotins, at 1,447 metres (4,747 ft) elevation. The population was 72,301 at the 2014 census. The capital is Roseau, located on the leeward side of the island.
The island was originally inhabited by the Kalinago/Arawak and later colonised by the Europeans, predominately by the French, who arrived at the island on Sunday, 3 November 1493 ("Sunday" = "Domenica" in Italian). Great Britain took it over in 1763 after the Seven Years' War and gradually established English as the official language. The island republic gained independence in 1978.
Its name is pronounced with emphasis on the third syllable, related to its former Dominique. Dominica has been nicknamed the "Nature Isle of the Caribbean" for its unspoiled natural beauty. It is the youngest island in the Lesser Antilles, still being formed by geothermal-volcanic activity, as evidenced by the world's second-largest hot spring, Boiling Lake. The island has lush mountainous rainforests, and is the home of many rare plants, animals, and bird species. There are xeric areas in some of the western coastal regions, but heavy rainfall occurs inland. The Sisserou parrot (also known as the imperial amazon), is found only on Dominica and is the island's national bird and features on the national flag. Dominica's economy depends on tourism and agriculture.

Robbie Rivera
Roberto "Robbie" Rivera (born 1973) is a prolific house music producer and DJ born in Puerto Rico. He has an extensive catalog of original productions and remixes to his credit, ranging from tribal to progressive house, as well as incorporating garage and Latin elements. He and his wife Monica Olabarrieta have homes in Miami and Ibiza. On October 28, 2009, DJ Magazine announced the results of their annual Top 100 DJ Poll, with Rivera placing #95.
Biography
Early years (1986–1999)
Rivera grew up in Puerto Rico, and was a fan of freestyle and Eurobeat when he bought two turntables to teach himself DJing techniques. Rivera performed at weddings and school party gigs, eventually leading to nightclubs at age of 16. After high school graduation, Rivera attended The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale to study music production and was introduced to many different digital audio tools including the popular Protools program. While in college he released his first record, "El Sorullo", a track influenced by Latin house music. The track became popular in New York and Miami and his career was underway.

If you’re looking for something a little quieter in your vacation, start your Riviera Maya tour in Puerto Morelos, a quaint fishing town where you can rent a catamaran for an afternoon at sea, or say “buenos días” to a reptile at Crococun Zoo.
Playa del Carmen is a great home base for those who want to explore the rest of the Riviera Maya. Distinctly European in its architecture and layout, you’ll find plenty of charming places to stay, and enough boutique shopping and restaurants to keep you occupied for months. From Playa del Carmen, catch a ferry to Cozumel, an island just off the coast. You can wander for hours on its beaches, and its sleepy villages and friendly inhabitants may just become your home away from home.
Cozumel doesn’t stop when you reach the shoreline. It’s part of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, where you can scuba or snorkel off the island’s sheltered western side. Whether you’re an advanced diver or are just beginning, the gentle waters here are the perfect place to introduce yourself to the local sea life.
Once you’re back on the mainland, do as the Mayans did and admire the view. The ruined city of Talum offers a breathtaking vista of the sea, and is considered one of Mexico’s first resorts. Why? Because this is where the royals went to watch beautiful sunrises and breathe in the fresh sea air—just like you’re getting ready to do.

Pay your respects to the Niños Heroes, a monument which honors the six boy soldiers who gave their lives defending Castillo de Chapultepec. Today, the castle serves as the National Museum of History.
Just to the north is Nuevo Polanco, a former warehouse area rapidly being transformed by new architectural visions, such as the Museo Soumaya and Museo Jumex.
To the south of the city is Coyoacán. In the early 20th century the district’s artists, writers and intellectuals inspired not only Mexico, but the entire world. Visit The Blue House, the birthplace of Frieda Kahlo, and the Museo Casa Estudio Diego Rivera y Frida Kahlo, where these two giants of Mexican art worked, lived and loved.
Just to the south are the incredible murals and buildings of Ciudad Universitaria, which, when constructed in the 1950s, was the city’s largest single building project since the time of the Aztecs.
The spirit of bohemia continues amid the sophisticated hues and beauty of districts such as Roma and Condesa. At Xochimilco, simply float away on a riot of color on the last of the city’s Aztec canals.
In Mexico City there is color everywhere, and once you experience it, your memories will never fade.
