Ministry of Sound started out as a nightclub in London, but has since diversified into a multimedia entertainment business. In addition to the nightclub, it is an independent record label and worldwide events brand with a radio station and other media outlets.
Ministry of Sound began as the idea of Justin Berkmann. Inspired by New York’s Paradise Garage, Berkmann set out to create London’s first club devoted to the American house music scenes of 1980s New York, Chicago and Detroit. As opposed to striking a balance between the typical hallmarks of a live music venue, Ministry of Sound was conceived as an arena purely dedicated to sound. Berkmann stated: "My concept for Ministry was purely this: 100% sound system first, lights second, design third (in that order); the reverse of everyone else’s idea."
Berkmann was introduced to James Palumbo, who was working in property finance at the time, by Humphrey Waterhouse to realise the concept. The site, a disused bus garage, was located in Elephant & Castle in Southwark, London. The club opened on 21 September 1991.

Dominica (/ˌdɒmɪˈniːkə/ DOM-i-NEE-kə;French: Dominique; Island Carib: Wai‘tu kubuli), officially the Commonwealth of Dominica, is an island country in the Lesser Antilles region of the Caribbean Sea, south-southeast of Guadeloupe and northwest of Martinique. Its area is 750 square kilometres (290 sq mi) and the highest point is Morne Diablotins, at 1,447 metres (4,747 ft) elevation. The population was 72,301 at the 2014 census. The capital is Roseau, located on the leeward side of the island.
The island was originally inhabited by the Kalinago/Arawak and later colonised by the Europeans, predominately by the French, who arrived at the island on Sunday, 3 November 1493 ("Sunday" = "Domenica" in Italian). Great Britain took it over in 1763 after the Seven Years' War and gradually established English as the official language. The island republic gained independence in 1978.
Its name is pronounced with emphasis on the third syllable, related to its former Dominique. Dominica has been nicknamed the "Nature Isle of the Caribbean" for its unspoiled natural beauty. It is the youngest island in the Lesser Antilles, still being formed by geothermal-volcanic activity, as evidenced by the world's second-largest hot spring, Boiling Lake. The island has lush mountainous rainforests, and is the home of many rare plants, animals, and bird species. There are xeric areas in some of the western coastal regions, but heavy rainfall occurs inland. The Sisserou parrot (also known as the imperial amazon), is found only on Dominica and is the island's national bird and features on the national flag. Dominica's economy depends on tourism and agriculture.
"Let You Go" is the second overall, and official lead single, taken from drum and bass duo Chase & Status' second studio album, No More Idols. The song features vocals from singer Mali, and was released as a digital download on 15 August 2010. The single debuted on the UK Singles Chart at #11, marking the duo's second most successful single to date. In July 2010, "Let You Go" was added to BBC Radio 1's A playlist.
The music video for "Let You Go" was directed by thirtytwo, made up of Will Lovelace and Dylan Southern, and was released on 29 July 2010. The video features a TV talk show host, much like Jeremy Kyle, called Patrick Chase, played by British stage actor Glenn Carter. He is praised by the audience, particularly for his scathing insults about the guests on his show and his catchphrase "If you can't be good, be honest". The video then switches to Patrick Chase on a night out and we see his reckless and wild behaviour: he has sex with a woman who is not his wife while her young children are in the next room; gets drunk and buys drugs; snorts several lines of cocaine; picks up a prostitute and has sex with her while watching his TV show. We then see a fast montage of his double life: the adoration of his fans and his hedonistic other persona, including a minor car crash while driving under the influence. We also see him being a talk show host to cover up who he really is. The video ends with Patrick sitting in a make up chair, looking at a photo of his wife and children, before beginning a new show with his cheering fans surrounding him. Plan B makes a cameo appearance in the video as the drug dealer.
YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP S.p.A is an Italian internet mail order retailer of men's and women's multibrand clothing and accessories founded on 5 October 2015 after the merger between YOOX GROUP, the global Internet retailing partner for leading fashion and luxury brands, and THE NET-A-PORTER GROUP, the world’s premier online luxury fashion destination for content and commerce. Yoox was founded by Federico Marchetti, a former investment banker, in Zola Predosa near Bologna in 2000 and has become an e-commerce company that serves "more than 100 countries worldwide". Compagnie Financière Richemont agreed to merge Net-a-Porter with Yoox without the knowledge of Net-a-Porter founder Natalie Massenet for a valuation of about £950 million (about $1.4 billion), which was much lower than what Morgan Stanley bankers believed the business to be worth.
YOOX’s concept is to buy up overstocked or unsold items from previous seasons in "a direct relationship" from renowned fashion houses "including Dolce & Gabbana, Diesel, Gucci, Armani and Cavalli" as well as "manufacturers and authorized dealers" and sell them online at discounted outlet prices. This is to enable "luxury brands to off-load last year's merchandise without undermining their brands or cannibalizing sales at their existing stores". Vintage designer clothing (Chanel, Dior, Pucci etc.) is collected with the help of fashion editor Polly Allen Mellen and sold at special occasions. Some fashion designers have created capsule collections exclusively for yoox.com, such as Hussein Chalayan (menswear) or Alexandre Herchcovitch.

Dominica: Country number 8 of 10 on my Caribbean island hop by plane. This time I fly into Dominica: the Nature Isle. I see the capital, Roseau, and then take a drive to the north, seeing some of the destruction caused by Hurricane Erica, a year on.
180 Days in Dominica is a mini docuseries based on a Canadian's view on a beautiful, but rather unfamiliar island in the Caribbean. This episode is based on a few locals and their views, way of life and values that represent a majority of the country. The people truly make this island what it is.
