Abstract:
Programming by Examples (PBE) has the potential to revolutionize end-user programming by \ enabling end users, most of whom are non-programmers, to create small scripts for automating \ repetitive tasks. \ However, examples, though often easy to provide, are an ambiguous specification of the user's intent. \ Because of that, a key impedance in adoption of PBE systems is the lack of user confidence in the correctness of \ the program that was synthesized by the system. \ We present two novel user interaction models that communicate actionable information to the user to help resolve ambiguity in the examples. \ One of these models allows the user to effectively navigate between the huge set of \ programs that are consistent with the examples provided by the user. \ The other model uses active learning to ask directed example-based questions to the user on the test input data over \ which the user intends to run the synthesized program. \ Our user studies show that \ each of these models significantly reduces the number of errors in the performed task without any difference in completion time. \ Moreover, both models are perceived as useful, \ and the proactive active-learning based model has a slightly higher preference regarding the users' confidence in the result.

From the album: Chicago/The Blues/Today! Vol. 1. Buddy Guy on guitar, Jack Meyers bass, Fred Below drums.
Junior Wells (December 9, 1934 -- January 15, 1998[1]), born Amos Wells Blakemore Jr. was a blues vocalist and harmonica player and recording artist based in Chicago, who was also famous for playing with Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, Bonnie Raitt, The Rolling Stones and Van Morrison.
He was possibly born in Memphis, Tennessee,[1] and raised in West Memphis, Arkansas though other sources report his birth was in West Memphis, Arkansas.[2] Initially taught by his cousin, Junior Parker, and artist Sonny Boy Williamson[disambiguation needed], Wells learned how to play the harmonica by the age of seven with surprising skill. He moved to Chicago in 1948 with his mother after her divorce and began sitting in with local musicians at house parties and taverns.[3] Wild and rebellious but needing an outlet for his talents, he began performing with The Aces (guitarist brothers Dave and Louis Myers and drummer Fred Below) and developed a more modern amplified harmonica style influenced by Little Walter.[3] He made his first recordings at age 19, when he replaced Little Walter in Muddy Waters' band and appeared on one of Waters' sessions for Chess Records in 1952. ( Born December 9,1934, Wells would likely be only 17 for a 1952 session.)[3] His first recordings as a band leader were made in the following year for States Records.[4] In the later 1950s and early 1960s he also recorded singles for Chief Records and its Profile Records subsidiary, including "Messin' with the Kid", "Come on in This House", and "It Hurts Me Too", which would remain in his repertoire throughout his career. His 1960 Profile single "Little by Little" (written by Chief owner and producer Mel London) reached #23 in the Billboard R&B; chart, making it the first of two Wells' singles to enter the chart.[5]
Junior Wells worked with guitarist Buddy Guy in the 1960s, and featured Guy on guitar when he recorded his first album, Hoodoo Man Blues for Delmark Records.[6][3]" Wells and Guy supported the Rolling Stones on numerous occasions in the 1970s.[6] Although his albums South Side Blues Jam (1971) and On Tap (1975) proved he had not lost his aptitude for Chicago blues, his 1980s and 1990s discs were inconsistent.[6] However, 1996's Come On in This House was an intriguing set of classic blues songs with a rotating cast of slide guitarists, among them Alvin Youngblood Hart, Corey Harris, Sonny Landreth.[6] and Derek Trucks.
Wells made an appearance in the 1998 movie, Blues Brothers 2000, the sequel to The Blues Brothers.[3] The film was released less than a month after his death.[3] He had continued performing until he was diagnosed with cancer in the summer of 1997.[3] That fall, he suffered a heart attack while undergoing treatment, sending him into a coma.[3]
Wells was interred in the Oak Woods Cemetery, Chicago after succumbing to lymphoma on January 15, 1998.[1]

Physical exercise is any bodily activity that enhances or maintains physical
fitness and overall health and wellness. It is performed for various reasons,
including strengthening muscles and the cardiovascular system, honing athletic skills,
weight loss or maintenance, and merely enjoyment. Frequent and regular physical
exercise boosts the immune system and helps prevent the "diseases of affluence
" such as heart disease, cardiovascular disease, Type 2 diabetes, and obesity.
[1][2] It may also help prevent depression, help to promote or maintain positive
self-esteem, improve mental health generally, and can augment an individual's sex
appeal or body image, which has been found to be linked with higher levels of
self-esteem.[3] Childhood obesity is a growing global concern,[4] and physical
exercise may help decrease some of the effects of childhood and adult obesity.
Health care providers often call exercise the "miracle" or "wonder" drug—alluding to
the wide variety of proven benefits that it can provide.[5][6]

Sonic the Hedgehog (ソニック・ザ・ヘッジホッグ Sonikku za Hejjihoggu?) is a video game franchise created and owned by Sega. The franchise centers on a series of speed-based platform games, but several are spin-offs in different genres. The protagonist of the series is an anthropomorphic blue hedgehog named Sonic, whose peaceful life is often interrupted by the series's main antagonist, Doctor Eggman. Typically, Sonic—usually along with some of his friends, such as Tails, Amy, and Knuckles—must stop Eggman and foil any plans of world domination. The first game in the series, published in 1991, was conceived by Sega's Sonic Team division after Sega requested a mascot character; the title was a success and spawned sequels, and transformed Sega into a leading video game company during the 16-bit era in the early to mid-1990s.
Sonic Team has since developed many titles in the franchise. Prominent members of its initial staff included Naka, character designer Naoto Ohshima, and level designer Hirokazu Yasuhara. Other developers of Sonic games have included Japanese Dimps, American Sega Technical Institute, Backbone Entertainment, Big Red Button Entertainment, and Sanzaru Games, Canadian BioWare, and British Sumo Digital and Traveller's Tales. While the first games in the series were side-scrolling platform games, the series has expanded into other genres such as action-adventure, fighting, racing, role-playing, and sports. Including packaged game software and downloads, the franchise has sold 335 million units as of April 2015,[1] with the mobile game Sonic Dash being downloaded over 100 million times by June 2015,[2] making it one of the best-selling video game franchises of all time.

Tanki online Information ---
Gameplay is organized into matches called battles, in which players each command their tank to accomplish a set goal. The game features four game modes: Deathmatch, Team deathmatch, Capture the flag, and Control points[disambiguation needed]. Players may enter or leave a battle at any time, via the main lobby. However, entering a battle late usually results in a lower score and fewer reward crystals. Battles begin immediately when they are created, regardless of whether or not the teams are balanced and/or the battle has the maximum allocation of players (however, the countdown in a timed match does not begin until at least one tank joins the battle).
Battles take place across a variety of "maps", most of which are player-contributed while some of them are designed by professional in-game map-designers. Each map is distinct and creates a different style of gameplay. Different maps also favor different weapons e.g. the smaller maps favoring the close-range weapons, and vice versa. Most maps come in both a "summer" and a "winter" mode, each mode using different buildings and landscapes. In addition to selecting the map and mode, battles, which are user-created, have another setting called "PRO." This setting lets players turn on and off such settings as "friendly-fire" and "auto-balance".

A comedian or comic (a professional comedian), is a person who seeks to entertain an audience, primarily by making them laugh. This might be through jokes or amusing situations, or acting a fool, as in slapstick, or employing prop comedy. A comedian who addresses an audience directly is called a stand-up comic.
A popular saying, variously quoted but generally attributed to Ed Wynn,[1] is, "A comic says funny things; a comedian says things funny", which draws a distinction between how much of the comedy can be attributed to verbal content and how much to acting and persona.

ABSTRACT
Relevance feedback was one of the first interactive information retrieval
techniques to help systems learn more about users' interests. Relevance
feedback has been used in a variety of IR applications including query
expansion, term disambiguation, user profiling, filtering and
personalization. Initial relevance feedback techniques were explicit, in
that they required the user's active participation. Many of today's
relevance feedback techniques are implicit and based on users' information
seeking behaviors, such as the pages they choose to visit, the frequency
with which they visit pages, and the length of time pages are displayed.
Although this type of information is available in great abundance, it is
difficult to interpret without understanding more about the user's search
goals and context.
In this talk, I will address the following questions: what techniques are
available to help us learn about users' interests and preferences? What
types of evidence are available through a user's interactions with the
system and with the information provided by the system? What do we need to
know to accurately interpret and use this evidence?
I will address the first two questions by presenting an overview of
relevance feedback research in information retrieval. I will address the
third question by presenting results of some of my own research that
examined the online information seeking behaviors of users during a
14-week period and the context in which these behaviors took place.
Speaker: Diane Kelly
Diane is an assistant professor in the School of Information and Library Sciences at the University of North Carolina. Her research interests, in her own words: "I am interested in the design and evaluation of systems that support interactive information retrieval. My research explores techniques that support interactive information retrieval at the search interface, such as those used for explicit and implicit relevance feedback. My research also focuses on user modeling and personalization. Specifically, I am interested in identifying and evaluating how an online information system can learn and use the document preferences of its users through monitoring observable behaviors, such as display time and retention. I am also interested in understanding how contextual variables, such as specific task and topic, affect this relationship, and how these variables can be measured and tracked over time."

Snob à L'Exposition, by Victor Eugène Géruzez (fr) (Crafty)
A snob is a person who believes a correspondence between status and human worth.[1] The term also refers to a person who believes that some people are inherently inferior to him or her for any one of a variety of reasons, including real or supposed intellect, wealth, education, ancestry, power, physical strength, class, taste, beauty, nationality, fame, extreme success of a family member or friend, etc.[citation needed] Often this form of snobbery reflects the snob's personal attributes.[citation needed] For example, a common snobbery of the affluent is the belief that wealth is either the cause or result of superiority, or both.[citation needed] Both definitions are used as a pejorative.
The word "snobbery" came into use the first time in England during the 1820s. It was said to have derived from the habit of many Oxford and Cambridge colleges of writing sine nobilitate (without nobility) or s. nob. next to the names of ordinary students on examination lists in order to distinguish them from their aristocratic schoolmates.[1] The French version though is much more accepted: sans noblesse, essentially the same but derived from the Plantagenets rule of England. These common, but typically wealthy students would then acquire symbols of aristocratic status (driver, maid etc.), and were then mocked as "snobs" by the aristocrats.[citation needed] After the later changing of the meaning of the term "snob," people who emulate aristocrats are now referred to as "snob victims."[citation needed]
Snob victim[edit]
The term "snob" is often misused when describing a "gold-tap owner,"[1] i.e. a person who insists on displaying (sometimes non-existing) wealth through conspicuous consumption of luxury goods (clothes, jewelry, cars etc.).[citation needed]Such person on the contrary craves the attention of snobs, trying to convince them with such consumption of his or her wealth and therefore status.[citation needed]Sophisticated snobs will then often assess that in such case there is no equation between (apparent) wealth and status, reducing the gold-tap owner to the object of their mockery. Such person is referred to as a snob victim.[citation needed]The snob victim may be exploited economically by being deceived by a seller of aspirational goods (by means of e.g. advertising) into believing that status can indeed be acquired through consumption of such goods.[citation needed]
Historic manifestations[edit]
Snobs can through time be found ingratiating themselves with a range of prominent groups – soldiers (Sparta, 400 BC), bishops (Rome, 1500), poets (Weimar, 1815), farmers (China, 1967) - for the primary interests of snobs is power, and as the distribution of power changes, so, naturally and immediately, will the objects of the snob's admiration.[1][citation needed]

DAVID ICKE - Perception, Deception & Problem, Reaction, Solution
David Vaughan Icke (/aɪk/; IKE, born 29 April 1952) is an English writer, public speaker and a former professional footballer and sports broadcaster. He promotes conspiracy theories about global politics and has written extensively about them.
Icke was a BBC television sports presenter and spokesman for the Green Party, when in 1990 a psychic told him that he was a healer who had been placed on Earth for a purpose, and that the spirit world was going to pass messages to him. In March 1991 he held a press conference to announce that he was a "Son of the Godhead" – a phrase he said later the media had misunderstood. He said that a subsequent appearance on BBC's Wogan changed his life, turning him from a respected household name into a public laughing stock.[1]
He nevertheless continued to develop his ideas, and in four books published over seven years—The Robots' Rebellion (1994), And the Truth Shall Set You Free (1995), The Biggest Secret (1999), and Children of the Matrix (2001)—he set out a worldview that combined New-Age spiritualism with a denunciation of totalitarian trends in the modern world. At the heart of his theories lies the idea that a secret group of reptilian humanoids called the Babylonian Brotherhood (including George W. Bush, Queen Elizabeth II, Kris Kristofferson and Boxcar Willie) controls humanity, and that many prominent figures are reptilian.[2] He further proposes that the Moon is an artificial construct—"probably a hollowed-out planetoid"—from which the reptilians broadcast an "artificial sense of self and the world" that humans mistakenly perceive as reality.[3]
Michael Barkun has described Icke's position as "New Age ", writing that he is the most fluent of the genre. Richard Kahn[disambiguation needed] and Tyson Lewis argue that the reptilian hypothesis may simply be Swiftian satire, a way of giving ordinary people a narrative with which to question what they see around them Brotherhood bloodlines are the Rockefellers, the Rothschilds, various European royal and aristocratic families, the establishment families of the Eastern United States, and the British House of Windsor. Icke identified the Queen Mother in 2001 as "seriously reptilian The Illuminati, Round Table, Council on Foreign Relations, Chatham House, the Trilateral Commission, the Bilderberg Group, the International Monetary Fund, and the United Nations are all Brotherhood created and controlled, as are the media, , , , science, religion, and the Internet, with witting or unwitting support from the London School of Economics.[42] At the apex of the Brotherhood stands the "Global Elite," identified throughout history as the Illuminati, and at the top of the Global Elite stand the "Prison Wardens." The goal of the Brotherhood—their "Great Work of Ages"—is world domination and a micro-chipped population

How do you turn unstructured data into a visualization? Over 80% of the data in a corporation is textual, including emails, contracts, chat sessions, social media, account notes and much more. In this session, Bill Inmon--known as the Father of Data Warehousing--will discuss "textual disambiguation," a new approach for transforming unstructured data into a database that can be used in Tableau visualizations. Textual disambiguation leverages several advanced techniques to create a state-of-the-art method for leveraging and understanding an organization's unstructured data.

Identity crisis

In psychology, the term identity crisis (coined by psychologist Erik Erikson) means the failure to achieve ego identity during adolescence.[1][2]
The stage of psychosocial development in which identity crisis may occur is called the Identity Cohesion versus Role Confusion stage. During this stage (that is, adolescence), adolescents are faced with physical growth, sexual maturation, and integrating ideas of themselves and about what others think of them.[3] Adolescents therefore form their self-image and endure the task of resolving the crisis of their basic ego identity. Successful resolution of the crisis depends on one’s progress through previous developmental stages, centering on issues such as trust, autonomy, and initiative.[3]

A cattle raid during the Swabian War, 1499
Cattle raiding is the act of stealing cattle. In Australia, such stealing is often referred to as duffing, and the perpetrator as a duffer.[1][2] In North America, especially in cowboy culture, cattle theft is dubbed rustling and an individual who engages in it is a rustler.[citation needed]

History
The act of cattle rustling is quite ancient. Historically, the first suspected raids occurred over seven thousand years ago.[3]
Mythology
Cattle raids play an important part in Indo-European mythology; see for example Táin Bó Cúailnge (Ireland; in English: The Cattle Raid of Cooley or The Táin), the Rigvedic Panis (India), and the Homeric Hymn to Hermes, who steals the cattle of Apollo (Greece). These myths are often paired with myths of the abduction of women (compare Helen of Troy, Saranyu, Sita, and The Rape of the Sabine Women). Abduction of women and theft of livestock were practiced in many of the world's pre-urbanised cultures, the former likely reaching back to the Paleolithic and the latter to the earliest domestication of animals in the Neolithic.

The video begins with audio of 911 emergency calls. The purpose of listening to these was to listen to the types of words the callers were using. The words being used can help identify who is lying and who is not (since sometimes the caller was the one who committed the crime, and only made the call to make themselves appear innocent).
Based on a study performed on emergency calls, truth-tellers usually display more negative emotion (emotion filled swearing) and display more anxiety than deceivers. Truthtellers also tend to refer to specific people (he, she, I) rather than using blanket / general pronouns (such as "we"). Deceivers on the other hand try to share the blame (by using the word "we") and also tell the operator to "wait" or "hold on" if the operator is asking them to do something such as CPR that they are reluctant to do.
The brings us to text analytics - the computer aided extraction of information from text. Large datasets are processed and complex algorithms are performed in attempt to identify "positive" words from "negative" words, similar to how truthtellers and deceivers in emergency calls are differentiated. It is often used for spam filters (i.e. differentiating spam from normal e-mail based on key words and then sorting the bad email into the spam folder).
Before going deeper into text analytics, the professor discusses word sense disambiguation. This involves understanding statements based on context rather than the words being used in the sentence, which can mean more than one thing. For example, the statement "kids make nutritious snacks" can be understood in two ways - one is that kids are nutritious thus a feasible option for a meal (which is obviously wrong) while the other is that a group of kids created a healthy new snack (the right choice).

The lion (Panthera leo) is one of the five big cats in the genus Panthera and a member of the family Felidae. The commonly used term African lion collectively denotes the several subspecies found in Africa. With some males exceeding 250 kg (550 lb) in weight,[4] it is the second-largest living cat after the tiger. Wild lions currently exist in sub-Saharan Africa and in Asia (where an endangered remnant population resides in Gir Forest National Park in India) while other types of lions have disappeared from North Africa and Southwest Asia in historic times. Until the late Pleistocene, about 10,000 years ago, the lion was the most widespread large land mammal after humans. They were found in most of Africa, across Eurasia from western Europe to India, and in the Americas from the Yukon to Peru.[5] The lion is a vulnerable species, having seen a major population decline in its African range of 30–50% per two decades during the second half of the 20th century.[2] Lion populations are untenable outside designated reserves and national parks. Although the cause of the decline is not fully understood, habitat loss and conflicts with humans are currently the greatest causes of concern. Within Africa, the West African lion population is particularly endangered.
Lions live for 10–14 years in the wild, although in captivity they can live more than 20 years. In the wild, males seldom live longer than 10 years, as injuries sustained from continual fighting with rival males greatly reduce their longevity.[6] They typically inhabit savanna and grassland, although they may take to bush and forest. Lions are unusually social compared to other cats. A pride of lions consists of related females and offspring and a small number of adult males. Groups of female lions typically hunt together, preying mostly on large ungulates. Lions are apex and keystone predators, although they are also expert scavengers obtaining over 50 percent of their food by scavenging as opportunity allows. While lions do not typically hunt humans, some have been known to do so. Sleeping mainly during the day, lions are primarily nocturnal, although bordering on crepuscular in nature.[7][8]
Highly distinctive, the male lion is easily recognised by its mane, and its face is one of the most widely recognised animal symbols in human culture. Depictions have existed from the Upper Paleolithic period, with carvings and paintings from the Lascaux and Chauvet Caves, through virtually all ancient and medieval cultures where they once occurred. It has been extensively depicted in sculptures, in paintings, on national flags, and in contemporary films and literature. Lions have been kept in menageries since the time of the Roman Empire, and have been a key species sought for exhibition in zoos over the world since the late eighteenth century. Zoos are cooperating worldwide in breeding programs for the endangered Asiatic subspecies.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (often shortened to TMNT or Ninja Turtles) are a fictional team of four teenage anthropomorphic turtles, named after four Renaissance artists, who were trained by their anthropomorphic rat sensei in the art of ninjutsu. From their home in the storm sewers of New York City, they battle petty criminals, evil overlords, mutated creatures, and alien invaders while attempting to remain hidden from society. They were created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird.
The characters originated in comic books published by Mirage Studios before expanding into cartoon series, films, video games, toys, and other general merchandise.[2] During the peak of the franchise's popularity in the late 1980s and early 1990s, it gained considerable worldwide success and fame.[3]

Housekeeping refers to the management of duties and chores involved in the running of a household, such as cleaning, cooking, home maintenance, shopping, laundry and bill pay. These tasks may be performed by any of the household members, or by other persons hired to perform these tasks. The term is also used to refer to the money allocated for such use.[1] By extension, an office or organization, as well as the maintenance of computer storage systems.[2]
A housekeeper is a person employed to manage a household,[3] and the domestic staff. According to the Victorian Era Mrs Beeton's Book of Household Management, the housekeeper is second in command in the house and "except in large establishments, where there is a house steward, the housekeeper must consider his/herself as the immediate representative of her mistress".[4]

Housecleaning[edit]
Broom, sponge and duster
It includes activities such as housecleaning, that is, disposing of rubbish, cleaning dirty surfaces, dusting and vacuuming. It may also involve some outdoor chores, such as removing leaves from rain gutters, washing windows and sweeping doormats. The term housecleaning is often used also figuratively in politics and business, for the removal of unwanted personnel, methods or policies in an effort at reform or improvement.[5]
Housecleaning is done to make the home look and smell better and be safer and easier to live in. Without housecleaning lime scale can build up on taps, mold grows in wet areas, smudges on glass surfaces, dust forms on surfaces, bacterial action make the garbage disposal and toilet smell and cobwebs accumulate. Tools used in housecleaning include vacuums, brooms, mops and sponges, together with cleaning products such as detergents, disinfectants and bleach.
Removal of litter[edit]
Disposal of rubbish is an important aspect of house cleaning. Plastic bags are designed and manufactured specifically for the collection of litter. Many are sized to fit common waste baskets and trash cans. Paper bags are made to carry aluminum cans, glass jars and other things although most people use plastic bins for glass since it could break and tear through the bag. Recycling is possible with some kinds of litter.[6]
Dusting[edit]
Some dusting tools
Over time dust accumulates on household surfaces. As well as making the surfaces dirty, when dust is disturbed it can become suspended in the air, causing sneezing and breathing trouble. It can also transfer from furniture to clothing, making it unclean. Various tools have been invented for dust removal; Feather and lamb’s wool dusters, cotton and polyester dust cloths, furniture spray [1], disposable paper "dust cloths", dust mops for smooth floors and vacuum cleaners. Vacuum cleaners often have a variety of tools to enable them to remove dirt not just from carpets and rugs, but from hard surfaces and upholstery.[7]
Removal of dirt[edit]
Examples of dirt or "soil" are detritus and common spills and stains that exists in the home. Equipment used with a cleaner might be a bucket and sponge or a rag. A modern tool is the spray bottle, but the principle is the same.
Household chemicals[edit]
Various household cleaning products have been developed to facilitate the removal of dust and dirt, for surface maintenance, and for disinfection.[8] Products are available in powder, liquid or spray form. The basic ingredients determine the type of cleaning tasks for which they are suitable. Some are packaged as general purpose cleaning materials while others are targeted at specific cleaning tasks such as drain clearing, oven cleaning, lime scale removal and polishing furniture. Household cleaning products provide aesthetic and hygiene benefits but are also associated with health risks for the users, and building occupants.[9] The US Department of Health and Human Services offers the public access to the Household Products Database. This database provides consumer information for over 4,000 products based on information provided by the manufacturer through the material safety data sheet.

Art is a diverse range of human activities and the products of those activities, usually involving imaginative or technical skill. In their most general form these activities include the production of works of art, the criticism of art, the study of the history of art, and the aesthetic dissemination of art. This article focuses primarily on the visual arts, which includes the creation of images or objects in fields including painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, and other visual media. Architecture is often included as one of the visual arts; however, like the decorative arts, it involves the creation of objects where the practical considerations of use are essential—in a way that they usually are not in a painting, for example. Music, theatre, film, dance, and other performing arts, as well as literature and other media such as interactive media, are included in a broader definition of art or the arts.[1] Until the 17th century, art referred to any skill or mastery and was not differentiated from crafts or sciences. In modern usage after the 17th century, where aesthetic considerations are paramount, the fine arts are separated and distinguished from acquired skills in general, such as the decorative or applied arts.
War is a state of armed conflict between societies. It is generally characterized by extreme collective aggression, destruction, and usually high mortality. The set of techniques and actions used to conduct war is known as warfare. An absence of war is usually called "peace". Total war is warfare that is not restricted to purely legitimate military targets, and can result in massive civilian or other non-combatant casualties.

Perception (from the Latin perceptio, percipio) is the organization, identification, and interpretation of sensory information in order to represent and understand the environment. All perception involves signals in the nervous system, which in turn result from physical or chemical stimulation of the sense organs. For example, vision involves light striking the retina of the eye, smell is mediated by odor molecules, and hearing involves pressure waves. Perception is not the passive receipt of these signals, but is shaped by learning, memory, expectation, and attention. Perception involves these "top-down" effects as well as the "bottom-up" process of processing sensory input. The "bottom-up" processing transforms low-level information to higher-level information (e.g., extracts shapes for object recognition). The "top-down" processing refers to a person's concept and expectations (knowledge), and selective mechanisms (attention) that influence perception. Perception depends on complex functions of the nervous system, but subjectively seems mostly effortless because this processing happens outside conscious awareness.
