Description:
When it comes to the
American Dream, most people want to become millionaires in their lifetimes.
Reaching that “pie in the sky” dream certainly doesn’t happen for everyone, but for those that do, usually they are young adults. But the people in this video became millionaires when they were children or in their early teens. Now, you might be kicking yourself and thinking that you’re behind in life. The kids in this video are truly unique individuals who either got lucky, or they showed wisdom beyond their years. Essentially, these kids and teens seem to be tiny adults.
For example,
Tyler Dikman was taking apart his first computer at the age of 10 and trying to figure out how it worked. This led to Tyler having a consistent curiosity about computers and realized that he could make a career out of the skill. After scoring an internship with
Merrill Lynch that eventually evolved into a full-time job, Tyler founded his own company called Cooltronics, specializing in PC set up and repairs.
Today, his company rivals some of the conventional mainstream big wigs.
Then you have teens who take a family tradition and turn it into a multi-million dollar idea like
Fraser Doherty.
Fraser was 14 when he started making jams from his grandmother’s old recipes and selling the jam to neighbors and friends. The jams then became so popular that Fraser dropped out of school to work on his own business called SuperJams.
Eventually, a major supermarket in the
United Kingdom asked to stock SuperJams. So Fraser took out a $9000 loan for supplies and for covering business expenses, and quickly became a millionaire once his product reached all over the UK.
But sometimes becoming a millionaire is just as easy as reselling an item. That’s what
Dominic McVey did when he became a millionaire after importing scooters from the
United States because they were significantly cheaper than what was being sold in
England. Because his prices beat out the competition, Dominic’s business began to boom and he partnered with a company named
Viza. He became a millionaire by the time he was 15 years old.
Also, if you can figure out how to code an app for
Apple, you can possibly become a self-made millionaire in just two weeks. That’s what
Robert Nay did when he was just 14 years old. He taught himself how to code, and created the game
Bubble Ball using 4,
000 lines of code. Making money from advertising revenue, in just two weeks the game was downloaded by over one million different people. Since the success of Bubble Ball,
Robert has started his own company called Nay
Games.
The crazy part is that the names mentioned in this description aren’t even the youngest self-made millionaires
. You’ll need to watch the video to find out. We’ll give you a hint, these kids were in elementary school when they started living the rich life. This all goes to show you that the next million dollar idea is so easy to find, even a kid can figure it out.
