Whitney is in the gym! She is working hard to get better every day. In this video Whitney is working on some of her uneven bars skills. Pak saltos are getting easier, but they are still hard. On this day Whitney couldn’t quite finish her Pak saltos. So…her “Pak salto fails” were not exactly crashing into the bar type fails…but fails in the sense that success was not achieved. Whitney also works on her Stalders, double back dismounts, and giant pirouettes. Blakely is also in the house (gym) working on her gymnastics skills.

The Pak, or Pak salto, is a release move performed on the uneven bars in women's artistic gymnastics. The move starts with the gymnast hanging on the high bar and facing the low bar, then swinging forwards towards the low bar and performing a straight backward salto to catch the low bar.
The uneven bar transition is named for former gymnast Gyong Sil Pak of North Korea.

Whitney is in the gym! The uneven bars take a lot of strength, skill, courage, and practice. Here Whitney works on her upper body strength by using only her arms on the men’s parallel bars. Then it’s on to the uneven bars to practice some release moves and stalders. Whitney’s coach chose the Gienger for Whitney’s release move. Practice makes perfect, and this time Whitney managed to catch two Giengers! Working hard to get better every day.

Josef Stalder (6 February 1919 - 2 March 1991) was a Swiss gymnast and Olympic Champion. He competed at the 1948 Summer Olympics in London where he received a gold medal in horizontal bar, a silver medal in team combined exercises, and a bronze medal in parallel bars.[1] He received four medals at the 1952 Summer Olympics in London. He also was the originator and name giver of the stalder circles, nowadays a very common skills on both the high and the uneven bars.

Uneven bars
The uneven bars or asymmetric bars is an artistic gymnastics apparatus. It is used only by female gymnasts. It is made of a steel frame. The bars are made of fiberglass with wood coating, or less commonly wood. The English abbreviation for the event in gymnastics scoring is UB or AB, and the apparatus and event are often referred to simply as "bars". The bars are placed at different heights and widths, allowing the gymnast to jump from bar to bar.
The apparatus
Uneven bars used in international gymnastics competitions has to conform to the guidelines and specifications set forth by the International Gymnastics Federation Apparatus Norms brochure. Several companies manufacture and sell bars, including AAI (USA), Jannsen and Fritsen (Europe) and Acromat (Australia).
Gymnasts will often use a single bar to practice skills on the bar, mostly for safety and for ease of spotting. Many gym also have a single bar or a set of uneven bars over a loose foam pit for learning new skills to provide an additional level of safety.

Uneven
Uneven is the fifth studio album by the progressive metal band Sieges Even. It is the last album to feature Greg Keller on vocals and Wolfgang Zenk on guitar. It is also the last album the band released till 2005. The album, as its predecessor, features keyboard elements and is very aggressive in lyrics and in sound. The album is a very rare album and is only available overseas.

Pak Salto "Fails" | Gymnastics Uneven Bars Workout | Whitney Bjerken
Whitney is in the gym! She is working hard to get better every day. In this video Whitney is working on some of her uneven bars skills. Pak saltos are getting easier, but they are still hard. On this day Whitney couldn’t quite finish her Pak saltos. So…her “Pak salto fails” were not exactly crashing into the bar type fails…but fails in the sense that success was not achieved. Whitney also works on her Stalders, double back dismounts, and giant pirouettes. Blakely is also in the house (gym) working on her gymnastics skills. A family moonlight hike and campfire will be held at Scotland Run Feb. 11. WENONAH -- The Gloucester County Nature Club will meet on Thursday, Feb. 9 at 6 p.m. at the Holy Nativity Lutheran Church, 3 Lenape Trail in Wenonah. Lenape Trail is located just off of Mantua Avenue at Woodbury-Glassboro Road ... 11 at 7 p.m. ...
