A libertine is one devoid of most moral or sexual restraints, which are seen as unnecessary or undesirable, especially one who ignores or even spurns accepted morals and forms of behaviour sanctified by the larger society. Libertinism is described as extreme form of hedonism. Libertines put value on physical pleasures, meaning those experienced through the senses. As a philosophy, libertinism gained new-found adherents in the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries, particularly in France and Great Britain. Notable among these were John Wilmot, 2nd Earl of Rochester, and the Marquis de Sade.
The word "Libertine" was originally coined by John Calvin to negatively describe opponents of his policies in Geneva, Switzerland. This group, led by Ami Perrin, argued against Calvin's "insistence that church discipline should be enforced uniformly against all members of Genevan society". Perrin and his allies were elected to the town council in 1548, and "broadened their support base in Geneva by stirring up resentment among the older inhabitants against the increasing number of religious refugees who were fleeing France in even greater numbers". By 1555, Calvinists were firmly in place on the Genevan town council, so the Libertines, led by Perrin, responded with an "attempted coup against the government and called for the massacre of the French. This was the last great political challenge Calvin had to face in Geneva".
A libertine is one free from the restraint of social norms and religious morals.

A gene is a locus (or region) of DNA that encodes a functional RNA or protein product, and is the molecular unit of heredity. The transmission of genes to an organism's offspring is the basis of the inheritance of phenotypic traits. Most biological traits are under the influence of polygenes (many different genes) as well as the gene–environment interactions. Some genetic traits are instantly visible, such as eye colour or number of limbs, and some are not, such as blood type, risk for specific diseases, or the thousands of basic biochemical processes that comprise life.
Genes can acquire mutations in their sequence, leading to different variants, known as alleles, in the population. These alleles encode slightly different versions of a protein, which cause different phenotype traits. Colloquial usage of the term "having a gene" (e.g., "good genes," "hair colour gene") typically refers to having a different allele of the gene. Genes evolve due to natural selection or survival of the fittest of the alleles.

During the reign of Louis XV, the French Marquis de Sade who is fleeing from the suit for licentious behaviour that has been filed against him in Marseilles takes refuge in Venice, in the company of his mistress whom he passes off as his legitimate wife. As he regularly attends the Salons of the City, the Marquis promptly finds himself facing the reproaches of his mistress as well as the investigations of Venetian spies. Between eroticism and burlesque situations, this film draws a striking and surprising portrait of the libertarian mores of the eighteenth century. Tale of erotic romance in turn of the century England.
Like "Maman A Tort", rather than an adaption to "Libertine" like "Bad Girl" did, this is a literal translation to the song.

We're living the lifestyle
Young, sassy and nubile
Our future, guaranteed
Our beauty, legendary
There's nothing more we need
We're sorted, sorted.
We get there and we work hard
You're 19 with a gold card
We've no time for the weak
The needy or the meek
We're living to compete
sorted, sorted
All of our time
Is spent towing the line
We party so hard and we work even harder
We'll get what we deserve
For our flair
What d'ya mean we don't care
We party so hard and we work even harder
We'll get what we deserve
Empty out your wallet
Lets see what's inside it
Are you worth the time of day?
You know status equals pay
Where d'ya go on holiday
sorted, sorted.
We've worked our way up
Completely self-made
For as long as there's pay
We're here to stay
