Alex Parks
Alexandra Rebecca Parks (born 26 July 1984) is an English former singer-songwriter. Parks was entered into the BBC Television programme, Fame Academy by her father. It was a show that she went on to win. Soon after winning Fame Academy, she released her first album entitled Introduction, which went double platinum in the United Kingdom and gold in several other European countries. In 2005 she released her second album, Honesty. Parks parted with her label, Polydor, in 2006 by mutual consent.
Biography
Parks was born in 1984, the youngest of four children. She was born and grew up in the village of Mount Hawke, Cornwall and before Fame Academy had a long term girlfriend from Newquay She went to college at The Hub in St Austell and studied theatre studies, dance, acrobatics and clowning. In 2003 when she was 19, her father entered her into BBC television talent competition Fame Academy which she ultimately won.
Alex now uses the name Lexi Parks. Lexi is still in the music/ song writing business.

The Rain
The Rain were the Manchester band that eventually evolved into Oasis. The band formed in Manchester, England in 1991, taking their name from The Beatles' B-side, "Rain". Founding members were Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs (guitar), Paul "Guigsy" McGuigan (bass), Chris Hutton (vocals). Drummer Tony McCarroll joined shortly after the band formed to replace their drum machine and Hutton was replaced as vocalist by Liam Gallagher, who became the band's songwriter, in partnership with Arthurs. In this partnership, they wrote several songs including "Take Me" and "Life in Vain". The band rehearsed only one day a week and did not perform at shows often.
Shortly after Liam joined, the band was renamed Oasis, at his suggestion. Various explanations of the origins of the name have been offered, however, it came about when Liam’s older brother Noel roadied for the Inspiral Carpets at a venue in Swindon called the Oasis Leisure Centre. Liam reportedly liked the name's "resonance of imagery."
One day in August 1991, Noel, having recently returned from the Inspiral Carpets' tour of the U.S., went to watch his brother's band perform at the Manchester Boardwalk, supporting a band called Sweet Jesus. Noel offered to join, reportedly on condition that he would be the lead guitarist and they would perform only his songs. Noel made an instant impact on the band, he began to introduce new sounds and ways of creating music. After a few small warm up gigs in towns such as Middlesbrough, the band decided to produce Definitely Maybe, under the name of Oasis.

Here Comes the Rain Again
"Here Comes the Rain Again" is a 1984 song by British pop duo Eurythmics. It was written by group members Annie Lennox and David A. Stewart and produced by Stewart. The song was released on 12 January 1984 as the third single in the UK from the album Touch and in the United States as the first single. It became Eurythmics' second Top 10 U.S. hit, peaking at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. "Here Comes the Rain Again" hit number eight in the UK Singles Chart, becoming their fifth consecutive Top 10 single in that country.

Stewart explained to Songfacts that creating a melancholy mood in his songs is something at which he excels. He said: "'Here Comes the Rain Again' is kind of a perfect one where it has a mixture of things, because I'm playing a b-minor, but then I change it to put a b-natural in, and so it kind of feels like that minor is suspended, or major. So it's kind of a weird course. And of course that starts the whole song, and the whole song was about that undecided thing, like here comes depression, or here comes that downward spiral. But then it goes, 'so talk to me like lovers do.' It's the wandering in and out of melancholy, a dark beauty that sort of is like the rose that's when it's darkest unfolding and bloodred just before the garden, dies. And capturing that in kind of oblique statements and sentiments."

Efteling Vlog September 2017 Day One
Efteling is one of the most beautiful theme parks in the world located in Kaatsheuvel, The Netherlands. The park first opened in 1952 and has since grown to become one of the largest theme parks in Europe home to a fantastic selection of thrill and family rides, live shows and plenty of other attractions. In this vlog we take you on board the major rides at the park including on ride footage from Baron 1898, Python and the new for 2017 Symbolica. The parks brand new dark ride opened in July 2017 and in this vlog we share our full review from this awesome trackless dark ride at Efteling. I wanted to make this video in a using the classic Casey Neistat style vlogging to document the awful day to day life I'd been living in sweden.
I put all my finances into my future plan to travel europe in a high tech mobile home with the best photogrpahy equipment in the world. But it was at the expense of month and month of comfortable living and access to money.
To try and live a normal life with the restrictions of finances, and restrictions of basic amenities like gas, electricity, gym, food and easy access to public transport is crushing. I remember that the experience was so bad it was just funny.
I felt so bad in my body and physique all the time. I was deeply frustrated that I couldn't simply get to the gym, work out and feel better physically and pay better respect to my body.
I'll look bad on these time in the future and maybe laugh... but for now, this whole experience was simply awful.

I felt so bad in my body and physique all the time. I was deeply frustrated that I couldn't simply get to the gym, work out and feel better physically and pay better respect to my body.
I'll look bad on these time in the future and maybe laugh... but for now, this whole experience was simply awful.

Following a year long research project developed by the AYA Foundation working with young people from West Yorkshire, the From Parks To Pavilions documentary shines a light on the stories and pioneers behind the development of the Bradford based Quaid-e Azam Sunday Cricket League, which was founded in Dewsbury from a desire to gain access to grounds and to play on Sunday, the community’s ‘day off’.
The community set their sights on levelling the ‘playing field’ and developing a next generation of players that would one-day represent Yorkshire, their home county – which had prohibited them from playing, not because of talent but because they were simply not born in Yorkshire.
The documentary follows a community’s economic migration to Britain after the Second World War, which singlehandedly helped keep industries, in particular, the textile industry, alive.
This is the untold story of the South Asian expat community’s settlement in Britain and its attempt at playing the national game, cricket.

Blue Note Records celebrated its 75th anniversary last year, marking three quarters of a century issuing music by the biggest names in jazz history. The company continues to aspire to that standard, with a contemporary roster ever on the lookout for today's movers and shakers. The supergroup Our Point Of View — the name references a 1963 Herbie Hancock album — combines six of those Blue Note artists for a program of originals and classics heard on Blue Note Records alike.

Efteling Vlog September 2017 Day One
Efteling is one of the most beautiful theme parks in the world located in Kaatsheuvel, The Netherlands. The park first opened in 1952 and has since grown to become one of the largest theme parks in Europe home to a fantastic selection of thrill and family rides, live shows and plenty of other attractions. In this vlog we take you on board the major rides at the park including on ride footage from Baron 1898, Python and the new for 2017 Symbolica. The parks brand new dark ride opened in July 2017 and in this vlog we share our full review from this awesome trackless dark ride at Efteling. I wanted to make this video in a using the classic Casey Neistat style vlogging to document the awful day to day life I'd been living in sweden.
I put all my finances into my future plan to travel europe in a high tech mobile home with the best photogrpahy equipment in the world. But it was at the expense of month and month of comfortable living and access to money.
To try and live a normal life with the restrictions of finances, and restrictions of basic amenities like gas, electricity, gym, food and easy access to public transport is crushing. I remember that the experience was so bad it was just funny.
I felt so bad in my body and physique all the time. I was deeply frustrated that I couldn't simply get to the gym, work out and feel better physically and pay better respect to my body.
I'll look bad on these time in the future and maybe laugh... but for now, this whole experience was simply awful.

Following a year long research project developed by the AYA Foundation working with young people from West Yorkshire, the From Parks To Pavilions documentary shines a light on the stories and pioneers behind the development of the Bradford based Quaid-e Azam Sunday Cricket League, which was founded in Dewsbury from a desire to gain access to grounds and to play on Sunday, the community’s ‘day off’.
The community set their sights on levelling the ‘playing field’ and developing a next generation of players that would one-day represent Yorkshire, their home county – which had prohibited them from playing, not because of talent but because they were simply not born in Yorkshire.
The documentary follows a community’s economic migration to Britain after the Second World War, which singlehandedly helped keep industries, in particular, the textile industry, alive.
This is the untold story of the South Asian expat community’s settlement in Britain and its attempt at playing the national game, cricket.

Each player is also given their own piece of undeveloped real estate along with a virtual toolbox with which to design and build anything — be it a navigable skyscraper, a working helicopter, a giant pinball machine, a multiplayer “Capture the Flag” game or some other, yet-to-be-dreamed-up creation. There is no cost for this first plot of virtual land. By participating and by building cool stuff, ROBLOX members can earn specialty badges as well as ROBLOX dollars (“ROBUX”). In turn, they can shop the online catalog to purchase avatar clothing and accessories as well as premium building materials, interactive components, and working mechanisms.
