Documentário é um gênero cinematográfico cujo cerne é a exploração da realidade. O que não quer dizer que este tipo de mídia não tenha obras ficcionais. Nada muito diferente dos outros gêneros, apenas que quando retratam a realidade, normalmente o fazem de uma forma jornalística, muitas vezes didática, podendo ainda abordar o tema central de forma retórica e dialética. Em resumo, o objetivo principal de um documentário é informar e discutir o assunto do qual pretende transmitir, analisando mais de um aspecto relativo ao fato em questão.
Assim, é mais do que normal que um documentário possa influenciar a opinião pública através da forma como se propõe a tratar sobre o tema escolhido. Naturalmente, isso aconteceu com a trilogia de documentários da HBO, Paradise Lost, produzidos e dirigidos por Joe Berlinger e Bruce Sinofsky.
Em Paradise Lost: The Child Murders at Robin Hood Hills (1996), o primeiro da trilogia, o objetivo era cobrir o julgamento de 3 jovens: Damien Echols, na época com 18 anos, Jason Baldwin, 16 anos, e Jessie Misskelley Jr., 17 anos.
Estavam sendo acusados pelo brutal assassinato de Stevie Branch, Michael Moore e Christopher Byers, 3 garotos de apenas 8 anos cada, em West Memphis, uma pequena cidade no Estado do Arkansas. Os investigadores concluíram que as crianças foram mortas em algum tipo de ritual satânico empreendido pelos adolescentes. O fato dos acusados terem um perfil de rebeldia, vestirem-se de preto, gostarem de Heavy Metal e bandas como Metallica, isso tudo numa cidade onde a religiosidade é aflorada, não ser “um bom cristão” é sinal suficiente para a culpabilidade.

GAIN, who always has been the center of hot issues for shocking attempts, came back after a year with the 4th solo mini album [Hawwah]. GAIN, who has broken tacit taboo for female artists one by one, tries the concept 'Hawwah' this time that nobody has challenged yet. Hawwah is the first female of mankind that God created with Adam's rib in Genesis, and the first one who committed a crime of biting the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil by yielding to temptation of Satan(snake).
Her first title song 'Paradise Lost' is made by the songwriter, Lee Min-Soo, and the lyric writer, Kim Ee-Na, together having magnificent scale and mystique. GAIN showed extraordinary efforts for the performance of the title song including an extreme makeover to dye her hair blue and also participated in directing the performance in person.

タイトル曲「Paradise Lost」は、イ・ミンス作曲家-キム・イナ作詞家コンビの作品で、壮大なスケールと神秘さを持った曲だ。ガインは今回のタイトル曲の舞台パフォーマンスのために髪を青色に染めるなど破格的な変身を敢行し、パフォーマンスの演出にも直接参加するほど格別な情熱を見せた。

Paradise Lost is a 1996 documentary film directed by Joe Berlinger and Bruce Sinofsky about the trials of three teenage boys in West Memphis, Arkansas for the murder and sexual mutilation of three prepubescent boys.
The boys on trial for the crime are: Jessie Misskelley, Damien Echols and Jason Baldwin, also known as the West Memphis 3.
Despite a lack of any significant evidence indicating that they are connected to the case at all, the three boys are charged and tried for the murders.
A common theme throughout the film is the treatment of the boys based on their appearances and tastes in music, possibly as a Satanic ritual abuse.
During the course of the filming, John Mark Byers, the stepfather of one of the victims, gives the filmmakers a knife which has blood in the hinge.
The filmmakers turn the knife over to police, who examine it; the DNA is similar to that of himself and the boy but the evidence is nonetheless inconclusive since the DNA evidence produced was fragmented and can not provide concrete links. Other evidence is lost. All three teenagers are convicted.
The film was followed by a sequels, Paradise Lost 2: Revelations (2000), which suggests that further evidence was missed or suppressed and attempts to prove Echols' innocence, and Paradise Lost 3: Purgatory, which tells the complete story of one of the most notorious child murder cases in U.S. history.

Paradise Lost is an epic poem in blank verse by the 17th-century English poet John Milton. It was originally published in 1667 in ten books, with a total of over ten thousand individual lines of verse. A second edition followed in 1674, changed into twelve books (in the manner of the division of Virgil's Aeneid) with minor revisions throughout and a note on the versification.
The poem concerns the Biblical story of the Fall of Man: the temptation of Adam and Eve by the fallen angel Satan and their expulsion from the Garden of Eden. Milton's purpose, stated in Book I, is to "justify the ways of God to men."Paradise Lost is often considered one of the greatest literary works in the English language.
As previously noted, the poem is separated into twelve "books" or sections, and the lengths of each book varies greatly (the longest being Book IX, with 1,189 lines, and the shortest Book VII, having 640). In the second edition, each book was preceded by a summary titled "The Argument". The poem follows the epic tradition of starting in medias res (Latin for in the midst of things), the background story being recounted later.

Joshua Ryan "Josh" Hutcherson (born October 12, 1992) is an American film and television actor. He began working in the early 2000s, appearing in several minor film and television roles. He gained wider exposure with major roles in the 2005 films Little Manhattan and Zathura, the 2006 comedy RV, the 2007 family adventure film Firehouse Dog, and the film adaptations of Bridge to Terabithia, Journey to the Center of the Earth and Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant. On March 30, 2008, Hutcherson won a Young Artist Award (for Leading Young Actor). Hutcherson was also featured on a Celebrity Teens edition of the hit show MTV Cribs, and portrayed Peeta Mellark in the 2012 film The Hunger Games. He will appear in the Red Dawn remake.
Josh Hutcherson was born in Union, Kentucky. His mother, Michelle, is a former Delta Air Lines employee who now assists Josh, and his father, Chris Hutcherson, is an analyst for the EPA. He has a younger brother, Connor, as well as many pets, including two dogs, Diesel and Nixon (a boxer). He has wanted to be an actor since he was four years old, but had only begun auditioning for roles in 2002, at the age of 9. He moved from Union to California, due to limited acting opportunities.

Benicio Monserrate Rafael del Toro Sánchez (born February 19, 1967) is a Puerto Rican actor and film producer. He won an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and a BAFTA Award for his role as Javier Rodríguez in Traffic (2000). Paradise Lost is a 1996 documentary film directed by Joe Berlinger and Bruce Sinofsky about the trials of three teenage boys in West Memphis, Arkansas for the murder and sexual mutilation of three prepubescent boys. The boys on trial for the crime are: Jessie Misskelley, Damien Echols and Jason Baldwin, also known as the West Memphis 3. Despite a lack of any significant evidence indicating that they are connected to the case at all, the three boys are charged and tried for the murders. A common theme throughout the film is the treatment of the boys based on their appearances and tastes in music, possibly as a Satanic ritual abuse. During the course of the filming, John Mark Byers, the stepfather of one of the victims, gives the filmmakers a knife which has blood in the hinge. The filmmakers turn the knife over to police, who examine it; the DNA is similar to that of himself and the boy but the evidence is nonetheless inconclusive since the DNA evidence produced was fragmented and can not provide concrete links. Other evidence is lost. All three teenagers are convicted. The film was followed by a sequels, Paradise Lost 2: Revelations (2000), which suggests that further evidence was missed or suppressed and attempts to prove Echols' innocence, and Paradise Lost 3: Purgatory, which tells the complete story of one of the most notorious child murder cases in U.S. history. -

Este nuevo documental (estrenado en el año 2000), además de hacer un recuento del caso, ahonda en los errores cometidos por los equipos forenses durante la investigación, el mal manejo de la escena del crimen y la no correspondencia de las marcas de mordidas en el cuerpo de las víctimas con los registros dentales de los acusados, además de que muchas otras personas que podrían ser sospechosas del caso nunca fueron investigadas. En “Paradise Lost 2: Revelations”, los directores muestran también a personas con distintos orígenes que se interesaron en el caso de los tres de West Memphis y se unieron en un clamor de justicia. Paradise Lost is a 1996 documentary film directed by Joe Berlinger and Bruce Sinofsky about the trials of three teenage boys in West Memphis, Arkansas for the murder and sexual mutilation of three prepubescent boys. The boys on trial for the crime are: Jessie Misskelley, Damien Echols and Jason Baldwin, also known as the West Memphis 3. Despite a lack of any significant evidence indicating that they are connected to the case at all, the three boys are charged and tried for the murders. Nada muito diferente dos outros gêneros, apenas que quando retratam a realidade, normalmente o fazem de uma forma jornalística, muitas vezes didática, podendo ainda abordar o tema central de forma retórica e dialética. Em resumo, o objetivo principal de um documentário é informar e discutir o assunto do qual pretende transmitir, analisando mais de um aspecto relativo ao fato em questão.
Assim, é mais do que normal que um documentário possa influenciar a opinião pública através da forma como se propõe a tratar sobre o tema escolhido. Naturalmente, isso aconteceu com a trilogia de documentários da HBO, Paradise Lost, produzidos e dirigidos por Joe Berlinger e Bruce Sinofsky.
Em Paradise Lost: The Child Murders at Robin Hood Hills (1996), o primeiro da trilogia, o objetivo era cobrir o julgamento de 3 jovens: Damien Echols, na época com 18 anos, Jason Baldwin, 16 anos, e Jessie Misskelley Jr., 17 anos.
Estavam sendo acusados pelo brutal assassinato de Stevie Branch, Michael Moore e Christopher Byers, 3 garotos de apenas 8 anos cada, em West Memphis, uma pequena cidade no Estado do Arkansas. Os investigadores concluíram que as crianças foram mortas em algum tipo de ritual satânico empreendido pelos adolescentes. O fato dos acusados terem um perfil de rebeldia, vestirem-se de preto, gostarem de Heavy Metal e bandas como Metallica, isso tudo numa cidade onde a religiosidade é aflorada, não ser “um bom cristão” é sinal suficiente para a culpabilidade.

GAIN, who always has been the center of hot issues for shocking attempts, came back after a year with the 4th solo mini album [Hawwah]. GAIN, who has broken tacit taboo for female artists one by one, tries the concept 'Hawwah' this time that nobody has challenged yet. Hawwah is the first female of mankind that God created with Adam's rib in Genesis, and the first one who committed a crime of biting the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil by yielding to temptation of Satan(snake).
Her first title song 'Paradise Lost' is made by the songwriter, Lee Min-Soo, and the lyric writer, Kim Ee-Na, together having magnificent scale and mystique. GAIN showed extraordinary efforts for the performance of the title song including an extreme makeover to dye her hair blue and also participated in directing the performance in person.

Paradise Lost is a 1996 documentary film directed by Joe Berlinger and Bruce Sinofsky about the trials of three teenage boys in West Memphis, Arkansas for the murder and sexual mutilation of three prepubescent boys.
The boys on trial for the crime are: Jessie Misskelley, Damien Echols and Jason Baldwin, also known as the West Memphis 3.
Despite a lack of any significant evidence indicating that they are connected to the case at all, the three boys are charged and tried for the murders.
A common theme throughout the film is the treatment of the boys based on their appearances and tastes in music, possibly as a Satanic ritual abuse.
During the course of the filming, John Mark Byers, the stepfather of one of the victims, gives the filmmakers a knife which has blood in the hinge.
The filmmakers turn the knife over to police, who examine it; the DNA is similar to that of himself and the boy but the evidence is nonetheless inconclusive since the DNA evidence produced was fragmented and can not provide concrete links. Other evidence is lost. All three teenagers are convicted.
The film was followed by a sequels, Paradise Lost 2: Revelations (2000), which suggests that further evidence was missed or suppressed and attempts to prove Echols' innocence, and Paradise Lost 3: Purgatory, which tells the complete story of one of the most notorious child murder cases in U.S. history.
