The Great Pyramid of Giza, sometimes called the Pyramid of Khufu, or the Cheops Pyramid, is truly one of the most amazing mysteries on Earth. Remote viewing is a mental procedure that was originally developed by the United States military and used for espionage purposes. Now, civilians employ the same methods, or procedures that are derivative of those methodologies, to study human history. In a project completed at The Farsight Institute (www.farsight.org) using remote-viewing data collected by two of the most accomplished “military grade” remote viewers of the day, the true story of how the Great Pyramid of Giza was actually constructed using a combination of exotic advanced technology and brutal manual labor can finally be told.
Very little of what most people learned in school about the origins of the Great Pyramid of Giza is correct. Our civilization needs to uncover its true history without bias and with an open mind. Now is not the time to censor new knowledge. Now is the time to face our past.

Giza (Coptic: ⲅⲓⲍⲁ Gee-zah, Arabic: الجيزة Al-Ğīzah), sometimes spelt Gizah, is the third largest city in Egypt. It is located on the west bank of the Nile River, some 20 km (12.43 mi) southwest of central Cairo. Along with Shubra El-Kheima, Cairo and Helwan, the four cities form the Province of Greater Cairo metropolis. The city of Giza is the capital of the Giza Governorate, and is located near the northeast border of this governorate in coordinates. It is located right on the banks of the River Nile. The city's population was 2,681,863 in the 2006 national census, while the governorate had 6,272,571 at the same census. Its large population makes it the second largest suburb in the world, tied with Incheon, South Korea and Quezon City, Philippines, second only to Yokohama, Japan.
Giza is most famous as the location of the Giza Plateau: the site of some of the most impressive ancient monuments in the world, including a complex of ancient Egyptian royal mortuary and sacred structures, including the Great Sphinx, the Great Pyramid of Giza, and a number of other large pyramids and temples. The plateau and its monuments have been recorded in the Giza Plateau Mapping Project run by Ancient Egypt Research Associates, directed by Dr. Mark Lehner. AERA's 2009 field season was recorded in a blog.

-In Cairo, if you want to have an enjoyable experience touring all of the great sites, I recommend hiring a private tour guide or egyptologist. My friend suggested Rasha El Ashmawy who is an Egyptologist & private tour guide. Her website is www.egyptdailytours.com and her prices are very reasonable! In an air conditioned car from 8am-5pmish she only charged us $90 per person and this includes entrance fees to every place she took us. We went to the Great Pyramids of Giza, The Sphinx, The Egyptian Museum (Unfortunately no photos or videos allowed), Cairo Citadel, Mosque of Muhammad Ali and Khan al Khalili Bazaar. Great price if you ask me! And we were chauffeured in a private van with A/C! Rasha was absolutely fabulous, very knowledgable and very sweet. I definitely recommend her! You will not be disappointed! She also offers airport transfer!
-Egyptian tourism is WAY down, down 90% since the Egyptian Revolution. Try to be generous when you can but sometimes it can get rather annoying. For example, at the Pyramids, buyers will try everything they can to get you to buy a souvenir. It's a bit annoying but with tourism so down, this is their way of living and they CAN get a bit aggressive. Best thing to do is just to ignore and keep walking. Don't even say "No Thank You". Just simply ignore.
-Don't take pictures of military personnel, I accidentally got in trouble because an officer thought I was taking a video of his police car when in reality I was taking video of the building behind it. But wharves understandable.
-Don't ride a camel in front of the pyramids. You will get ripped of tremendously. Instead, take a $5 camel ride further away from the pyramids on the plateau. You still get great views of the pyramids!
-Buy souvenirs at Khan el Khalili but ALWAYS bargain and try to bring the price down. Most speak several languages so try your best to bring down the price!
-If you want to go inside Mosque of Muhammad Ali you can, however if you're not dressed appropriately you will be given an abaya for a small fee of about $1.
-Stay hydrated! It is HOT! Luckily there are beverage vendors everywhere so keep cash in hand.
-Cairo is NOISY! I've never heard so much noise in my life. Be prepared for the honking and the crazy driving! We stayed at the Conrad Cairo (Beautiful hotel that I definitely recommend!) and although we were at the 19th floor with a Nile view, we could STILL hear the honking so bring earplugs if you're easily annoyed!
-Egyptian food is AMAZING! Be sure to check out Abou Tarek for some authentic egyptian Koshary OR head on over to my favorite restaurant located in Zamalek, Abou El Sid. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS and craving it at this second!

Marhaba everyone! I'm back with more travel videos from my Middle Eastern adventures this summer! So excited to share with you all this travel vlog from Egypt! My travel buddy and I first ventured to Sharm El Sheikh for some relaxation so I didn't really vlog there, however I did vlog my adventures in Cairo! -In Cairo, if you want to have an enjoyable experience touring all of the great sites, I recommend hiring a private tour guide or egyptologist. My friend suggested Rasha El Ashmawy who is an Egyptologist & private tour guide. Her website is www.egyptdailytours.com and her prices are very reasonable! In an air conditioned car from 8am-5pmish she only charged us $90 per person and this includes entrance fees to every place she took us. We went to the Great Pyramids of Giza, The Sphinx, The Egyptian Museum (Unfortunately no photos or videos allowed), Cairo Citadel, Mosque of Muhammad Ali and Khan al Khalili Bazaar. Great price if you ask me! And we were chauffeured in a private van with A/C! Rasha was absolutely fabulous, very knowledgable and very sweet. I definitely recommend her! You will not be disappointed! She also offers airport transfer!
-Egyptian tourism is WAY down, down 90% since the Egyptian Revolution. Try to be generous when you can but sometimes it can get rather annoying. For example, at the Pyramids, buyers will try everything they can to get you to buy a souvenir. It's a bit annoying but with tourism so down, this is their way of living and they CAN get a bit aggressive. Best thing to do is just to ignore and keep walking. Don't even say "No Thank You". Just simply ignore.
-Don't take pictures of military personnel, I accidentally got in trouble because an officer thought I was taking a video of his police car when in reality I was taking video of the building behind it. But wharves understandable.
-Don't ride a camel in front of the pyramids. You will get ripped of tremendously. Instead, take a $5 camel ride further away from the pyramids on the plateau. You still get great views of the pyramids!
-Buy souvenirs at Khan el Khalili but ALWAYS bargain and try to bring the price down. Most speak several languages so try your best to bring down the price!
-If you want to go inside Mosque of Muhammad Ali you can, however if you're not dressed appropriately you will be given an abaya for a small fee of about $1.
-Stay hydrated! It is HOT! Luckily there are beverage vendors everywhere so keep cash in hand.
-Cairo is NOISY! I've never heard so much noise in my life. Be prepared for the honking and the crazy driving! We stayed at the Conrad Cairo (Beautiful hotel that I definitely recommend!) and although we were at the 19th floor with a Nile view, we could STILL hear the honking so bring earplugs if you're easily annoyed!
-Egyptian food is AMAZING! Be sure to check out Abou Tarek for some authentic egyptian Koshary OR head on over to my favorite restaurant located in Zamalek, Abou El Sid. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS and craving it at this second!

The Pyramids are the oldest of the "Seven Wonders of the World" and a must see place for any traveler. Constructed over a 20 year period around 2560 BC, the Great Pyramid was the tallest man-made structure for over 3,800 years. One thing that upset me was they have built a golf course on the north side of this historic area (anywhere but here).

Saqqara was the burial mound of Memphis. There are monuments from at least 3000 years on this 7 kilometer long limestone plateau, from the earliest graves to the monastery of the Copt Christians. These buildings, which were covered by sand, were excavated by Auguste Mariette, but there are new findings even today.
Imhotep surrounded the Djoser Pyramid with a 10 meter wall with false doors. There were bastions and tabernacles while within the wall were shrines, halls and chapels. The wall was ornamented by a cobras head. The corridor leading to the yard is bordered by 40 pillars, imitating palm trees. The largest and well know monument of Saqqara is the pyramid of the Pharaoh Djoser. This is the first such structure to be called pyramid, before that, people bury their dead in mastabas. The design of the pyramid is associated with Imhotep, who was not only the greatest Architect of the 3rd dynasty, but also a high priest and a General of the Pharaoh. It was probably his idea to put 6 smaller and smaller square mastabas on top of each other, which led to the shape of the pyramid. His works set an example for Royal Architects for several centuries. Later the stairs of the pyramid were filles up and its size was covered to achieve a perfect pyramid shape.
In a northeastern corner of the area, an extremely deep cistern was discovered. From the bastion above it, the burial ground of the Saint -- bowls, the Serapium, can be seen perfectly, as well as the distant Pyramids of Giza.
It's widely known that all European power, the Germans, the Italians, but mostly the French and the British were present at the rediscovery of Egypt.
Those who are interested in Egyptology might know the names of Denon, Shante Leon, Lazoni, Mariette, Broch, Lepzius, Gaston Maspereau, and of course Howard Carter. Let's not forget the Italian, Girolamo Zagato, who found the entrance of the pyramid in 1820 while drawing a map.
The oldest graffiti in the world originates from the 12th century B.C. It can be found on the wall of one of the side buildings under the protection of a glass case. If one were to do something like this today, it is possible that the author would visit the local jail sooner than his graffiti would be protected by a glass case, the guards are there to prevent any kind of disruption.
The serdab is the close statue chamber of tomb chapels or mastabas from where the Pharaohs statue looks out to the outside world, this is how his soul preserved his relationship with the living. There is the original entrance on the southern side of the pyramid while on the northern one, there is new one, cut by Archaeologists. The burial chambers found beneath the pyramid around the middle of the building. The maze of corridors and chambers is almost 5 kilometers long and is probably connected to the cistern. There are lots of corridors which have not been fully discovered.
The Pyramid of Teti looks like a piece of rubble on the outside but is very interesting on the inside. There aren't too many pyramids which are open to the public. The walls are covered with texts and the ceiling depicts the night sky. The greatest mastaba is the one of Mereruka and his wife, the son in law, and daughter of Teti. One can even see Meruruka himself in the complicated mastaba, which has more than 30 rooms, as his life size statue steps out of a door. There were several claims which stated that grave robbers instantly fled as they saw the statue in the dim light. Almost square meter of the walls is covered by engraving, pictures or hieroglyphs, which introduce viewers to life in ancient times, hunting, fishing, agriculture and animal husbandry. In other pictures, one can see the scenes of raising a child, celebrations, and potters at work.
