Description

Firefly Cottage is a recently renovated and newly furnished 3 bedroom semi-detached double brick cottage, built mostly in about 1870, situated right in the middle of Mudgee, just a short stroll to shops, hotels, restaurants, clubs, gyms, parks etc.

This quirky cottage has been tastefully decorated and is very comfortable. Sleeping up to 8 adults, it is suitable for anything form a romantic weekend away to a family gathering.

The lounge has a 2 seat sofa as well as a 3 seat fold out sofa bed, an LCD TV, DVD player and DVD library, T-Box with a collection of movies, a variety of books and magazines, reverse cycle air-conditioning and Wi-Fi.

The kitchen is well equipped, including stove, fridge, microwave, a Pod coffee machine, toaster and kettle. Crockery, cutlery and glassware, pots and pans.

Also included are light breakfast ingredients of cereal, milk, juice, bikkies, tea and coffee.

The dining table seats 6.

Bedroom One is bright and comfortable. It has a Queen bed with electric blanket, a wardrobe and a remote control fan or heater.

Bedroom Two is spacious and quiet. Containing a Queen bed with electric blanket, a wardrobe, a ceiling fan and new r/c aircon unit.

Bedroom Three has 2 comfortable King Single beds with electric blankets, a dressing table and fan or heater.

The Bathroom including toilet is neat and modern and comes with Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash and a hairdryer. Family sized off-peak hot water.

All towels and bed linen are provided.

If you feel compelled to do a load of washing, the Laundry has a Washing Machine, Dryer, Ironing Board, Iron, Laundry Powder, Basket and pegs. Just outside is the traditional rotary clothesline.

The private backyard has a deck, an outdoor setting, BBQ and plenty of room for the kids.

Pet friendly.
The large backyard is suitable for dogs of all sizes but if you have a cat or need your furry friend to be in the house with you, we need to charge a fee of $25 for the extra cleaning required.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely property We stayed here for 1 night on our way from Canberra up to Brisbane. We arrived relatively late at night, but the check in process was really easy. The house was really excellent value for the price, and was nice and clean and tidy, and a great size. We had our dog with us, and she loved the yard, as well as being allowed inside the house. We're already thinking of coming back to explore the area a bit more (Mudgee seemed like a really beautiful part of NSW), and we want to stay in this cottage again when we do. I'd highly recommend this property.
