Description

Lola's Loft is a cedar cabin with beautiful views of the snow capped Mountains of Mt Koscioszko and Thredbo. Ideally situated at 1200 meters altitude, with 86 acres of land, it is a relaxing spot for you explore the snowy mountains. If you are looking for a peaceful or romantic location you can snuggle near the fireplace. The property can get snow fall, which is a lovely experience for all ages. Jindabyne air is usually crisp and clean in any season. Escaping the city heat in summer for a snow melt swim in lake Jindabyne can be refreshing. Bring you boat or canoe, or you can hire them on the lake. The loft is recently renovated, warm and cosey. The outdoors are rugged and ideal for the adventurous. Great trails for mountain biking are all around the area. You can stay warm by the toasty fire place with a book or venture outside for a bonfire or BBQ. There are chickens laying your fresh eggs, and merino sheep grazing in our paddocks.

The property was aptly named in 1901 and the landscape remains naturally rugged with a diverse variety of wild life often dropping by for a drink from the dam. A walk along the top of the range shows sweeping views of the Plains below and into Victoria's high country. Enjoy the experience of our snowy mountains, after a peaceful nights sleep in the comfy beds. All linen and firewood is provided.

Ideal for a romantic weekend with someone special any time of the year. Large enough for a small family or friends with the loft room upstairs. Foxtel with the movie channels is on just in case the weather keeps you indoors. Perhaps order an onsite theraputic massage in front of the fire. A favourite activity is to star gaze out of the loft roof window from bed at night at the milky way.

Bedding: A queen bed is downstairs. The loft area upstairs has a double and one single bed. An extra trundle with a great mattress is available if you require sleeping for 6. The house is suited to a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children. (6 Total)

Pet Friendly

If you want to bring your pets, they love holidays here too. A mid size dog kennel sits under the cover of the patio. So many fun things to smell and space to explore it is a dogs delight! Even the old dogs do a happy dance on arrival. Please bring your own pet bedding. The loft has its own fence line within the larger property to keep dogs secure and separate from other animals.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for a weekend away My partner and I stayed at Top of the Range for one night after doing the Mt Kosciousko hike and wish we had stayed longer. Only about 20mins from town we were able to do shopping easily but also be far away enough to enjoy peace and quiet along with a lovely view. The cabin was spotless and had everything that we needed, including firewood for the fireplace inside and the fire pit outside. The hosts were very friendly and kind, even allowing us a late checkout free of charge the next day allowing us a sleep in after our hike. We can't wait to go back! Even in summer Top of the Range is perfect. We would highly recommend it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great property and wonderful hosts We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lola's Loft ! It is completely self contained and private but the owners are close enough for helping out with any emergencies. We were well and truly pampered and we and the dogs had a brilliant time.
