Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton talks to protesters in the wake of police shooting and killing Philando Castile.
Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton comments on the police shooting of Philando Castile
Philando Castile was shot dead in his car by a Minnesota police officer on June 6, 2016. His girlfriend live-streamed it on Facebook...her 4 year-old toddler witnessed the entire death scene while sitting in the back seat of the car. This was the second police officer shooting of a Black man in consecutive days, as the police in Baton Rouge shot a Black man multiple times while he was subdued facedown on the ground just barely 24 hours before this Minnesota killing.
Gov. Mark Dayton is calling for a federal investigation into the shooting death of Philando Castile.
