I've been keeping my eye on this flight for quite sometime but never managed to get a decent deals on fare. However, a few weeks later, the fares dropped below 500K IDR and i decided that it's time to finally sample it.
The flight came a bit late from TKG as the morning fog at TKG reduces visibility below 2000 meters. We finally started boarding some 50 minutes behind schedule. I was greeted by a friendly looking FA's and i realized that there will only be one flight attendant on this flight. I must say that i liked the 1-2 configuration and the legroom was more than sufficient. The load was great with only 2 seats left unoccupied.
After takeoff the aircraft climbed to 18500 feet where we leveled off. I am quite surprised by the fact that the aircraft was relatively silent upon takeoff and climb. The FA then start distributing the snack box and as per this flight XN finally got their inflight magazine.
Shortly after, we began our descent into Radin Inten II Airport through a rather bumpy weather. We landed at Runway 32, marking the end of an exciting flight.

Dornier 328
The Dornier 328 is a turboprop-powered commuter airliner. Initially produced by Dornier Luftfahrt GmbH, the firm was acquired in 1996 by Fairchild Aircraft. The resulting firm, named Fairchild-Dornier, manufactured the 328 family in Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany, conducted sales from San Antonio, Texas, United States, and supported the product line from both locations. There is also a jet-powered version of the aircraft, the Fairchild Dornier 328JET.
Design and development
The 328 (or Do 328) program was initially begun while Dornier was still owned by Deutsche Aerospace. The basic 328 first flew on 6 December 1991, and entered commercial service in October 1993. The 328's new fuselage allowed for comfortable three-abreast seating, with the potential for a four-abreast configuration. Combined with the supercritical wing developed from Dornier's Do 228, this gave the 328 excellent cruise and climb capabilities. However, the 328 entered a market crowded with other competing turboprop aircraft at the time, as well as increasing competition from new regional jets in the early 1990s.

After takeoff the aircraft climbed to 18500 feet where we leveled off. I am quite surprised by the fact that the aircraft was relatively silent upon takeoff and climb. The FA then start distributing the snack box and as per this flight XN finally got their inflight magazine.
Shortly after, we began our descent into Radin Inten II Airport through a rather bumpy weather. We landed at Runway 32, marking the end of an exciting flight.
