St Paul and the First Christians The First Christians Documentary
Early Christianity is the period of Christianity preceding the First Council of Nicaea in 325 AD. It is typically divided into the Apostolic Age and the Ante-Nicene Period (from the Apostolic Age until Nicea).
The first Christians, as described in the first chapters of the Acts of the Apostles, were all Jewish, either by birth, or conversion for which the biblical term proselyte is used, and referred to by historians as the Jewish Christians. The early Gospel message was spread orally; probably in Aramaic. The New Testament's Book of Acts and Epistle to the Galatians record that the first Christian community was centered in Jerusalem and its leaders included Peter, James, and John. Paul of Tarsus, after his conversion to Christianity, claimed the title of "Apostle to the Gentiles". Paul's influence on Christian thinking is said to be more significant than any other New Testament writer. By the end of the 1st century, Christianity began to be recognized internally and externally as a separate religion from Rabbinic Judaism which itself was refined and developed further in the centuries after the destruction of the Second Jerusalem Temple. As shown by the numerous quotations in the New Testament books and other Christian writings of the 1st centuries, early Christians generally used and revered the Jewish Bible as Scripture, mostly in the Greek (Septuagint) or Aramaic (Targum) translations, much of which is written in narrative form where "in the biblical story God is the protagonist, Satan (or evil people/powers) are the antagonists, and God's people are the agonists".
As the New Testament canon developed, the Letters of Paul, the Canonical Gospels and various other works were also recognized as scripture to be read in church. Paul's letters, especially Romans, established a theology based on Christ rather than on the Mosaic Law, but most Christian denominations today still consider the "moral prescriptions" of the Mosaic Law, such as the Ten Commandments, Great Commandment, and Golden Rule, to be relevant. Early Christians demonstrated a wide range of beliefs and practices, many of which were later rejected as heretical.

2 Timothy 4: 1-8
1. I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
2. Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove , rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
3. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine ; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers , having itching ears;
4. And they shall turn away their ears from the truth , and shall be turned unto fables .
5. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist , make full proof of thy ministry.
6. For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
7. I have fought a good fight , I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
8. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness , which the Lord, the righteous judge , shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Saint Paul's Cathedral Outside The Walls in Rome, Italy is according to tradition the burial place of the Apostle Paul. Paul's stone coffin was confirmed to be under the main altar in the basilica in 2006, and not long after carbon dating tests were performed on the contents inside the coffin which dated back to the 1st century confirming what tradition has been saying for almost 200o years. Paul was born Saul of Tarsus who had risen in Judaism and was the chief persecutor of Christians when he was converted on the road to Damascus when Jesus appeared to him. He wrote letters which make up close to half of the New Testament Scriptures, and other than the resurrection of Jesus, his conversion and influence is considered by many to be one of two pillars the Church of Jesus Christ is built upon.

Thirteen books in the New Testament, name Paul as their author, and another one (Acts) devotes more than half its pages to describing how Paul was chosen to be an apostle and how he preached the good news throughout the Roman Empire. Acts 21.1-21 says that Paul was born in Tarsus, which was a major center for Greek education and culture. But as a Jew, Paul also studied in Jerusalem with Gamaliel, a leading teacher of the Law of Moses (Acts 22.3). Paul, whose Jewish name was Saul, was part of a religious group called the Pharisees (Phil 3.5), who believed that people could serve God best by strictly obeying the Law of Moses.
Paul's strong beliefs as a Pharisee led him to make trouble for the followers of Jesus (Acts 8.1-3; 9.1,2). Saul did his best to try to destroy the movement but was radically changed when the risen Christ appeared to him in a vision and chose him to be his follower and to spread the good news to all people (Acts 9.1-18; Gal 1.11-17; 1 Cor 9.1). After three years in Damascus (Gal 1.18) and after meeting with the leaders of the church in Jerusalem (Gal 1.18--2.10), Paul set out to preach the good news about Christ to the Gentiles.
From his letters and from Acts, we learn that Paul spent about fifteen years preaching and helping to create new groups of followers in Asia Minor and Greece, where he worked in important cities such as Ephesus, Colossae, Thessalonica, Athens, and Corinth. As he preached and taught the good news, he debated with philosophers (Acts 17) and worked with Jewish groups to show them that Jesus was the fulfillment of their hopes (Acts 18). He also faced persecution, was arrested, and tried to show the Roman officials that the followers of Christ were no threat to the Roman Empire (Acts 24,25).
Paul believed that Jesus was sent to obey God and to die as a sacrifice for human sin (Rom 3.24-26). Jesus was seeking to bring all people--both Jews and Gentiles--together as members of God's new people. God also sent the Holy Spirit to guide and strengthen the followers of Jesus, so they could serve God by telling the good news about Jesus and by loving one another. The Spirit, Paul said, produces love, joy, and peace (Gal 5), as well as the ability to do God's work in the world (1 Cor 14).
Paul was ready to accept death as a witness for Christ, knowing that God would raise him from death (Phil 3.10,11). Meanwhile, Paul expected Jesus to return to earth to make these poor bodies of ours like his own glorious body (Phil 3.21). Then Christ Jesus would defeat human sin and death once and for all (1 Cor 15.50-57).

BE PATIENT...WHAT GOD HAS IN STORE FOR YOU IS WORTH WAITING FOR❗️
(From Word For Today)
The apostle Paul was a prisoner on a ship, headed to Rome. After going through the Mediterranean Sea they docked at an island. God told Paul to advise the crew not to leave the harbour, because a great storm was ahead. But they wouldn't listen and they ended up 'shipwrecked'. WHY? IMPATIENCE.

In the midst of his meltdown over the botched release of his new album and regular Twitter rants over the past week, Kanye West also had time to serve as musical guest on "Saturday Night Live." But as new audio obtained by Page Six illustrates, he almost didn't make it to the stage. In the secretly recorded clip, West expresses his displeasure with the state of the stage he'd be performing on. He also griped about Taylor Swift, who had recently struck back over his lyrics about her in the song "Famous." A source told CBS News, ""It was like he was having an emotional breakdown. He was calling the crew white mothereffers and then said he was going to walk out. West then compared himself to the likes of Stanley Kubrick, Pablo Picasso and the apostle Paul, saying that he is 50 percent more influential than any of them and would be for the next 1,000 years.

Kanye West Calls Himself 50% More Influential Than Apostle Paul, F***ing Picasso & Escobar

Kanye West has such an inflated ego. The ‘I Love Kanye’ rapper — yes, that’s really the title of one of his new songs off ‘The Life Of Pablo’ — swears he’s a lot more influential than Stanley Kubrick, Picasso, and more. Listen to the epic meltdown he had backstage at ‘SNL’ on Feb. 13, here!
Kanye West, 38, made some pretty shocking statements during the meltdown he had backstage at Saturday Night Live on Feb. 13, but what shocked us the most was hearing him claim to be more influential than some pretty powerful people from throughout history, as well as “any other human being.” Cocky, much?
“Are they f***ing crazy? Whoa by 50 percent [I am more influential than] Stanley Kubrick, Picasso, Apostle Paul, f***ing Picasso and [Pablo] Escobar. By 50 percent more influential than any other human being. Don’t f*** with me. Don’t f*** with me. Don’t f*** with me. By 50 percent dead or alive, by 50 percent for the next 1,000 years. Stanley Kubrick, ‘Ye,” Kanye said during his epic rant.
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, an audio clip of Kanye’s reported meltdown surfaced online Feb. 17. In it, he not only talks about how influential he thinks he is, but he also calls Taylor Swift a “fake a**.” A source told Page Six that Kanye was yelling at the SNL staff during his rant, but a source tells us differently.
“He did not yell at SNL staff. This audio was secretly recorded while he was venting his frustration in a private moment with his team. He found out his stage design was changed and taken apart under the direction of the show’s lighting director without anyone’s approval. He had spent an entire day rehearsing and a lot of hard work into the performance. Dramatic set changes were made 30 minutes before going live. It should be understandable why he was upset after being completely blindsided. Later in the evening, after everything was fixed and following his performance, Kanye was seen hugging Lorne Michaels just before the goodnights and he stayed afterwards to chat with the staff and the cast, and thanked the producers on his way out the door,” a source close to the rapper told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.

WHO ARE WE?
• We are a group of people who are committed to living the grace life as set forth by the apostle of the Gentiles, the Apostle Paul.
• We come together to study our Bibles, and yes, we believe we have God's perfect Word in the King James Bible. It and it alone is our final authority in all matters of faith and practice!
• We do not come together and study our Bibles for the intent of being smarter than others. We understand that knowledge for the sake of knowledge is purely vain and serves no Godly purpose.
• We do come together and study our Bibles for the intent of knowing our Lord Jesus Christ and the power of His resurrection. (Philippians 3:10)
• We do come together and study our Bibles to understand that we have been crucified with Christ; nevertheless we live; yet not us, but Christ liveth in us: and the life which we now live in the flesh, we live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved us and gave himself for us. (Galatians 2:20)
• We do come together and study our Bibles to understand that because Jesus Christ shed His blood for us and we should not live for ourselves but for Him, who died for us and rose again. (2 Cor. 5:15)
• We do not claim to have attained to these lofty goals, but we press toward the mark of the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:14)

This is the second video in a series of teaching videos on the book of Titus.
This wonderful book addresses issues that faced Titus as he was left on the Island of Crete with a set of new believers and new churches to guide and teach. The Apostle Paul sets out the key issues that Titus needs to deal with and defines the key features that should be seen in a believer’s life. This makes for an interesting and challenging read. The question is – do I measure up? Do I add value to the gospel or do I detract from it? Can I handle false teaching and teachers? Watch this Video for a brief overview of a very interesting book.

WHY? IMPATIENCE.
(Acts 27:9-12)
The truth is when we allow ourselves to be impatient we often end up in a storm (trouble!!!)
People end up in crisis because they were impatient to get married, to get a new job or to move far away but they didn't take time to check things out with GOD FIRST, so they sail right into the awaiting storm.
Instead of waiting for Gods choice (e.g for our 'mate', finances) they end up in misery and strife.
Sometimes when God says 'no', He doesn't mean 'never', He means 'not now'.
(A delay doesn't mean a denial)
"WHAT GOD HAS IN STORE FOR US IS WORTH WAITING FOR".
Here's something to keep in mind:
"GOD DOES A WORK OF PREPARATION 'IN' YOU TO EQUIP YOU, FOR WHAT HE HAS IN MIND 'FOR' YOU".
(Isaiah 28:16, Jeremiah 29:11, Psalm 37:34)
'Wait for The Lord...follow His path and He will honour you".
BLESS YA❤️

Paul the Apostle (Greek: Παῦλος Paulos; c. 5 – c. 67), originally known as Saul of Tarsus (Hebrew: שאול התרסי; Greek: Σαῦλος Ταρσεύς Saulos Tarseus),[1][2] was an apostle (though not one of the Twelve Apostles) who taught the gospel of Christ to the first-century world.[7] He is generally considered one of the most important figures of the Apostolic Age.[8][9] In the mid-30s to the mid-50s, he founded several churches in Asia Minor and Europe. Paul used his status as both a Jew and a Roman citizen to advantage in his ministry to both Jewish and Roman audiences.
According to writings in the New Testament Paul, who was known as Saul early on, was dedicated to the persecution of the early disciples of Jesus in the area of Jerusalem.[10] In the narrative of the book of Acts, while Paul was traveling on the road from Jerusalem to Damascus on a mission to "bring them which were there bound unto Jerusalem", the resurrected Jesus appeared to him in a great light. He was struck blind, but after three days his sight was restored by Ananias of Damascus, and Paul began to preach that Jesus of Nazareth is the Jewish Messiah and the Son of God.[11] Approximately half of the book of Acts deals with Paul's life and works.
Fourteen of the twenty-seven books in the New Testament have traditionally been attributed to Paul. Seven of the epistles are undisputed by scholars as being authentic, with varying degrees of argument about the remainder. The authorship of the Epistle to the Hebrews, already doubted as Pauline in the 2nd and 3rd centuries[12] but almost unquestioningly accepted from the 5th to the 16th centuries,[13] is now almost universally rejected by scholars.[14] The other six are believed by some scholars to have come from followers writing in his name, using material from Paul's surviving letters and letters written by him that no longer survive.[7][8][15] Other scholars argue that the idea of a pseudonymous author for the disputed epistles raises many problems.[16]
Today, Paul's epistles continue to be vital roots of the theology, worship, and pastoral life in the Roman and Protestant traditions of the West, and the Orthodox traditions of the East.[17] Among that of many other apostles and missionaries involved in the spread of the Christian faith,[7] Paul's influence on Christian thought and practice has been characterized as being as "profound as it is pervasive". Augustine of Hippo developed Paul's idea that salvation is based on faith and not "works of the law". Martin Luther's interpretation of Paul's writings influenced Luther's doctrine of sola fide.more info visit:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_the_Apostle

In Isaiah 42 The Prophet Muhammad is spoken of as the unlettered Prophet, and the word Meshulam (Muslim) is mentioned in verse 19--for those who can read Hebrew. For the Christians, Psalms 91: 11-19 explains how The Messiah was lifted up and saved from the crucifixion, which occurred to Judas in his place. The Acts of Peter and The Book of Barnabas both attest to this fact!

The video is important as it builds on the information found in this one by explaining when and how apostasy became rooted in the Church.
The video also explains who and what the Beast and Great Prostitute are that are mentioned in Revelation, as well as who the two wings are that take the woman into the wilderness and what the water is that flows from the mouth of the dragon.
And what the information reveals is that all of the protestant denominations are the daughters of the Great whore of Babylon, who is the Catholic Church.

[HOW TO BE SAVED]
After you die do you think you will you go to Heaven or Hell?
We all DESERVE to go to HELL because of what we have done WRONG in this life!
"As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:"
(Romans 3:10)
"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
(Romans 3:23)
--
The "Good News" is that God LOVES us and wants to SAVE US from going to that terrible place called hell.
Check this verse out from the Bible...
"For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have ALL men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth." (1 Timothy 2:3-4)
--
After we DIE it will be TOO LATE to be saved!
"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the JUDGMENT"
(Hebrews 9:27)
--
God's solution for our sin is THE CROSS...
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
"...Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures." (I Corinthians 15:3,4)
"In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace;" (Ephesians 1:7)
--
SALVATION is God's FREE GIFT to us...
"For the wages of sin is death; but the GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)
--
The Result of our faith is PEACE WITH GOD...
"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." (Romans 5:1)
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8,9)
--
At this very moment you have the responsibility of making a decision.
You can be saved right now:
Simply make the decision in your heart to trust completely and exclusively in the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ as the total payment to God for your sins.
The moment you do, God will forgive you all your sins and save you from spending eternity in the Lake of Fire.
--
After we are saved we are SEALED (kept safe by God) by Being given God's Holy Spirit to be with us until we go to be in heaven...
"In whom [Christ] ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise..." (Ephesians 1:13)
--
"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth NOT the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." (John 3:36) www.understandgrace.com
