ROM should be easy enough to find on your own.
Got a rather tricky star here.
The Fog of War is one such reason, but there's a couple opponents that will be nasty.
Your opponents here will be Yue,
Karina,
Liquid,
Risk, and a couple of old bosses in
Zoro and
Ethan.
Preparations...make sure you have one good spear user capable of using an Axereaver and a good axe user capable of using a Swordreaver/Swordslayer.
The first ones to reach you are going to be Yue and
Karina. Yue can be very nasty with that
Nosferatu tome and his high magic score, but before you maim him, Althares should swipe his
Amulet &
Fell Contract.
Karina will be flying in from the top half of the map and likely attack anyone near the north side by the river so keep anyone in danger of being doubled by her away from the river. She doesn't have a
Delphi Shield so if you have a good bow user employed for this fight, she's easily dispatched.
The first really nasty unit to approach will be Liquid from
the south. He's a
Berserker which should already be a warning
sign, not to mention his very high strength & speed.
If he's got one weakness though, it's the fact he has to go through a bunch of forests & mountains to reach anyone. Any good spear user who can utilize the forests and is able to use an Axeslayer oughta have a very low chance to be hit by Liquid. Rex though takes that to another level by having the Amulet in his inventory, meaning Liquid gets all of a 0% chance to hit Rex twice so long as he's in a forest and has his Axereaver equipped. Rex leads the assault, then I get some good sword users in there to finish him off (And get payback for the lucky damn hit he got on Rex while he wasn't in a forest. That HAD to be less than a 20% chance there).
The next part is dangerous.
The bridge that Yue crossed...do NOT have anyone stand in the three empty squares surrounded by a forest, two forts, and another bridge going south. Risk is to the south and you'll likely have one dead squishy if he or she is such a unit and stand there.
Careful placement means I can skip past Risk and save him for last, dealing with Ethan & Zoro next.
Ethan is on the far east side of the map and will move to attack anyone in his range. Just watch out for his Swd Crusher spear and get someone like Shon or a mage to lead off the attack on him, then let whomever you want to get some easy experience make the kill
.
Zoro is in the forests south across a bridge. He still has the
Onigiri sword which ignores the defense of a unit, but has crap accuracy. You need only get a spear user in there, preferably with the Amulet in his or her inventory, and Zoro's got no chance.
Finally, the beast known as Risk. He's incredibly dangerous, sporting high stats all across the board, a powerful weapon in Phoenicis, high crit rate, and good avoid.
Siegfried's about the only unit at this
point that can really handle going toe to toe with him at a minimal risk.
I didn't employ him here though, heh.
Want to hold off on abusing his OP'ness at the moment until I really need it.
All I could do here was get Kelik in range, pray Risk didn't crit Kelik, then toss everyone and the goddamn kitchen sink at Risk to get him low enough on HP that Sai could take him out with one hit of his Swordslayer.
Your rewards for completing this star, besides getting all six of those characters, is a bunch of Animate Seals and two
Heaven Seals, meaning you now can promote Kelik, Shon, and Anakin.
A nerve wracking end to the map, but everyone managed to contribute in some way, especially Rex who quite literally was invincible against Liquid and Zoro. He also managed to pick up at least one good level here out of the three he gained. Even the lesser levels he gained had something good in them (strength!). Rex is poised to possibly cap strength if he keeps this up, heh.
